Deck Spotlight: Bloodlust Shaman
Got some Shaman dailies you want to get rid of quickly, or better yet, climb up the ladder for better rewards this season? Tonight we're shining the light on darkshadow33's Bloodlust Shaman deck. The idea behind this deck is to fill your side of the board up with minions while keeping control of your opponent's board, and then finalizing the match with Bloodlust.
The deck is on the cheap side at 2820 dust, and if you'd like to build it yourself you can find the deck below. To learn a bit more about this deck, head on over to the deck guide.

Mac Collection Manager Crashes
Glaxigrav responded on the official forums today to update everyone on the Mac Collection Manager crash issue. The fix will require a client patch which isn't yet ready but will make it into the next release. Some workarounds were posted and can be found below.
Quote from GlaxigravSorry for the frustration, everybody. Our development team is still working on a fix: This will require a client patch in order to address, but as soon as we have tested and verified a fix we'll be baking it into the next build. As of right now I don't have an ETA for when this will be ready, but we're keeping track of the bug as it moves through Quality Assurance and will let everyone know once it's ready for retest.
In the meantime, I wanted to highlight some workarounds that have helped other users so far. We don't expect this to be a long-term fix (we're working on that for our side), but I wanted to provide alternatives for the short-term:Click on the deck you wish to open (in the Collection Manager, as usual), but almost in the same motion, then move/push the mouse cursor AWAY from the long vertical window on the far right-hand side of the screen where the actual cards show up (the Deck Manager?)
The trick (for me) is to move the cursor away quickly enough so that it's out of the way before the deck-list begins to unroll from the Collection Manager.----
I just push it back over to the page that shows the cards in Album viewShort version: In the collection manager don't click on the deck.
Click on the card back tab first, then click on the desired deck and then click on the card pages tab on the top left. Works >90% for me.
The Angry Chicken #108 - Mo Mana Mo Problems
Update 9:52 AM EDT Oct. 8th: We incorrect stated a game story came from Ben Brode. This was not at all the case although we're sure he also has his crazy moments.
No skipperino the Kripperino! This week on The Angry Chicken podcast, the crew discussed the BlizzCon regionals, Hearthstone in Japan, and built a Pirate rogue deck. Additionally, they went over crazy game stories, including one from viewer Ben involving Piloted Shredders and Darnassus Aspirants. You can watch the episode below!
The Angry Chicken is a Hearthstone podcast featuring Garrett, Dills, and Jocelyn who discuss the latest Hearthstone happenings, strategy, and stories. You can find previous episodes of TAC over on their YouTube channel.
Kripparrian on Secrets
I've got a secret.. alright, not a very good one. Today Kripparrian posted a video discussing some of our most loved cards in Hearthstone, Secrets! He discussed the evolution of secrets and how he doesn't believe they're going away anytime soon, and strategies behind secrets.
I'm still waiting for a REALLY good shaman deck, blowing away all of our minds.
This deck ain't nothing new at all, just like the face hunter deck on the last news post.
I tried some selfmade shaman decks myself but god damnit it's so hard to build a ladder viable deck with this class.
At least you can have the right mana curve in this tavern brawl.
The brawl requires some serious thought, or none at all, a bit of both. I think I've got my fill.
Worst brawl so far... nothing special and generaly meh, did 1 win, bb next week
...AND it's Secret Paladins again. And Dragon Priests.
This mac collection manager bug happened to me like twice, but I would estimate that the mid-game rainbow screen bug has happened about ~14 times already. It completely exits the game after a couple of animations bug out and appear as rainbows.
Secrets aren't secrets, You know which secret your opponent plays most of the times, but you can't play around it if there are 5 secrets on the board from Mysterious Challenger
One of the parts I find most fun about secrets is tricking opponents into thinking they know what secret I've got set up and surprising them by the fact that the secrets turns out to be a completely different one, catching people off guard make secrets fun.
Thanks for posting the Mac work arounds :p gotta love that Blizzard responds to problem like they do.
"-Nature of secrets", being outside. Nice one, Kripp! :D
Blizz failed completely in stopping the rush meta. It seems like it's even more rushing these days than ever before. Zombie Chow etc. seem to be in about every deck these days. It's all about putting pressure on your enemy and then knock him out by round 8 or so with some powerful combi. I didn't reach 0 cards in like 6 weeks or so.
You got problems with secret paladin? Well, then your deck ain't fast enough. Force him to use several of his secrets before he can play his combi. Usually he won't be so lucky to have all his secrets still in his deck AND be able to play his mysterious challenger on curve.
dr boom is in all the winning decks nowadays
Still, but not as before
the champ
I think secret paladins are completely broken. You can't have a single card pull additional 5 cards from your deck and directly put them on board. Varian costs 10 mana and it's not half as imba.
Nice shaman deck! Bloodlust can also make wonders in a totem shaman deck, really fun!
