Except that before this card literally no one was playing paladin secrets - unlike hunter and and mage, paladin secrets were considered too much of a waste of space in a deck to be worth taking up slots - even with mad scientist. If it bothers you that much play mid-hunter with flares.

Flood posted a message on Legendary Tier Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionA New Legendary Crafting Tier List Has Appeared!
The ratings in the thread are more than my opinion, they are opinions of people I know, myself and popular Steamers such as Trump, Reynad, Sjow, etc. I am ranking the Cards in Tiers/Brackets I am doing this because it is impossible to rate them from 1 to X.
This is not a tier list of the best Legendaries, this is a Crafting Tier list. This list is used to find out which Legendaries to craft and Disenchant. Arena and non-competitive play have no bearing on this list.
I have arranged the Legendaries this way to not only show their importance in constructed but also to inform readers on how/why they are useful. If you have any questions about the tier list ask them, if you believe the tier list should be changed in any way, PM me.
Remember: If you would like to know what Legendary to craft, please include the decks you play and the decks you are going to play. This is necessary and someone can help you a lot easier.
Press Ctrl + f to find in page!
THE PAGE WILL BE UPDATED IN THE COMING DAYS AS THE META STABALIZES

XanXon posted a message on NEW - Achievements in Hearthstone!Posted in: Fan CreationsGreetings, Traveler!
Hearthstone is now ~ 2 years old, but there aren't any achievements in it yet. My question is: why not? This would be a great way to motivate players over a long periode of time, especially now with the upcoming formats. So I thought about possible some achievements ... but there was a problem: where should they be placed Ingame? After a few hours, I created some graphics to explain my result.
Okay, let's get started. First of all I placed the Achievement button next to the Collection, directly on the right side. By clicking on it a new layer opens:
(Click here to watch the full sized grafic)
On the left side, you can see, that there are 3 categories: Collection, Account and Conditions. The first one contains Achievements based on generell all Hearthstone cards. Summoning a minion, activate a spell for the first time, collection a special amount of a cardgroup etc. Here's an example:
The thing is, that you don't have to own this minion for this achievement, you also just can play it in Arena/Brawl. After reaching, this achievement get's a 'tick' and coloration.
But that wasn't all! When you have this achievement, you can work on the next one:
Simple, isn't it?
-------
The next categorie is Account. Here are all achievements, which depends on the own progress like completing an adventure or reaching a rank in a season.
The last categorie are the Conditions, as shown in the graphic. These achievements needs special Ingame situation like winning a match with a complete-murloc deck, killing your opponent with e.g. the Leper Gnome-Deathrattle, summoning Thaddius and many different more (there are like endless ideas, but I just made three as an example in the graphic).
Normally, you can only reach the achievements in Play mode, Arena, Brawl or sometimes also while fighting adventures, but some achievements shows the following icon:
This means, that you can solve them also in a match against friends (because they may not be solvable in normal matches). The reason of this is, that achievements should be a longtime-motivation.
Collection:
Work in progress! =]Account:
Work in progress! =]
Conditions:
Work in progress! =]
Okay, that was my "short" explaination for the achievements. What do you guys think? Do you want this in Hearthstone or not? And what are your ideas for achievements (also different ones!)? Let's start a collection for Blizzard! :)
Sorry for grammar-mistakes, I'm not a native speaker. ^^

ContentsMayVary posted a message on Legendary Tier Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionI already have quite a few of the top tier ones, so I'm going for Cairne and The Black Knight first. Not sure about the third one to craft - I don't have Ysera, but I might take Grommash first for my Warrior deck. Going to think about this a bit longer before I decide. :)

Sinti posted a message on Anyfin can happen, another bad designed cardPosted in: Card DiscussionTech in a crappy-ish murloc or two in your decks and u wont be OTKed anymore. Coldlight Oracle/Puddlestomper/(Murloc Knight) are playable "bad" murlocs, that will disrupt the combo for example ;-) and/or play more sticky taunts, since u know its comming and u can easily tell when, if u counted murlocs that already died - u can actually count the exact dmg that anyfin will give, if u paid attention to the dead murlocs well enough (use pencil+paper if u need to, no shame in that).

Asylum_Rhapsody posted a message on Anyfin can happen, another bad designed cardPosted in: Card DiscussionI have to admit that I'm sort of baffled by this card myself. I mean, the developers have been pretty consistent about avoiding 10-cost cards. They only ever created Deathwing before as a 10-cost deliberately, and the other existing 10-cost cards, Mind Control and Pyroblast, were nerfed to that cost. Really, considering that simply increasing cost is the dev's favorite method of nerfing a card, I and tons of others big into the card design aspect of the game held that they wouldn't make any more 10-cost cards because then they'd have nowhere to nerf it to if turned out to be too good.
I'd avoid using terms like "Bliztard" though. It's rather tasteless and the sort of immature-sounding thing that'll make folks dismiss you outright as just salty.

One of the reasons is the abundance of warriors on ladder. Its near impossible to get a good burst turn with all the armor they generate.

I've never sent a request but I've had a lot sent to me. I usually wait about a week and then accept it, if they're still mad then, that's a personal issue that they should probably address.

Whole lot easier than it sounds. Old Murk-Eye isn't really the problem, Murloc Warleader is the big threat here for the OTK. If even one is killed and they're running 2 Anyfin Can Happen and/or Grimscale Oracle and you can only entomb (best case scenario) Old Murk-Eye and a warleader you'll still end up getting OTK in the end.

Iv'e spent close to $700 in the last 5 months on this damn game. I would probably have a full collection by now but in the beginning I was DE'ing cards like crazy not knowing their value.

Your ability to confuse is most impressive. Most impressive indeed.

A little idea I was working on the includes The Paragon's of the Klaxxi and a new tribe, the Mantids. Their abilities are based off of abilities they posses in WoW.
"I will drink your blood!"
"You now face the Prime. Bow down to your superior!"
"Have you come to try my new concoctions, Wakener? I assure you, these are nothing like you've tasted before."
"Chaos is order unrecognized by a lesser mind!"
"You move too slowly, how does your kind catch any prey?"
"Time for a little target practice."
"Yes... new test subjects!"
"Come little Kunchongs, it's feeding time!"
"I will carry you one last time, Wakener... to your doom."
"Death to all who dare challenge my empire!"

I wouldn't quit unless it's not fun anymore. So many people seem to forget It's just a game. Who cares if you reach a certain rank? Who cares if rng fucks you over sometimes? At the end of the day it's gotta be fun or it's not worth it. Just have fun and enjoy the game and don't stress so much-sometimes there's nothing you could have done to change a game.
