All DKs should have had this additional ability:
"Deal 5 damage to your opponent for each Jade Idol they have summoned this game."

I'm with you OP. I personally would fire Mike Donais and Dean Ayala first (they form the final design team, focusing on card balance). This guys are nothing else than cancer.
Donais and Ayala...

Greetings citizens of Innistrad! Do you fear the massive onslaught of the monstrous aggro decks? Do you wish for a guardian who will inspire a more defensive play-style and more strategical mana-expending plays? Do you want an angel with strong heart and Health to synergize with thy Priest's holy buffs? Well look no further than...
"I'll make Liliana Vess pay...1 mana."

This card replaces your hero with another one with a maximum of 3 Health. When Jace (the hero) dies, the original hero it replaced will return.
Card based off of Magic: the Gathering card - Jace, the Mind Sculptor:
Side note: You can buy one of these for like $60. It has also been banned from multiple formats of competitive Magic.
Confused? Everything is explained in the spoilers.
Whenever Jace's hero power is activated, you may choose between one of the four following choices. Note that some of the spells will not be allowed as an option due to the amount of health they cost.
(As with Bloodbloom, Cho'gall, and the Blood Magic Tavern Brawl, you can't pay more health than you already have)
Each "Jace Spell" corresponds to one of the abilities Jace the Mind Sculptor has. (They can only be used once per turn). They will appear on screen as if it was a choose one effect (See Totemic Slam or Kalimos, Primal Lord)
Note that Jace's "Ultimate Spell" Traumatize cannot be cast just because you have Violet Illusionist or an abundance of Armor on the board to negate the damage. This stops it from breaking the game too much. This can create a powerful combo with Alexstrasza, but it is still quite difficult to do, seeing how you must have Jace somehow survive a turn AND somehow reduce the cost of Jace's Hero Power or Alexstrasza. I didn't feel this would be necessary for the spell Unsummon
Advanced Technical Notes so you don't complain later: Like with Kalimos, Primal Lord's Elemental Invocations, Jace's spells do not trigger "cast spell" effects. Also, these spells, (Like Ysera's) are not Mage Spells, and will NEVER cost mana regardless of the board (Just likeKalimos, Primal Lord), although you will ALWAYS have to pay the health cost. If Jace is somehow played through irregular means (Such as Barnes or Dirty Rat), it's deathrattle will do nothing, and will merely act as a 0/3 minion. If another hero (such as Lord Jaraxxus) is played to replace Jace, it will override the original hero, and stay as Lord Jaraxxus. If a hero Death Knight card is played, Jace becomes this Death Knight (Somehow, don't question it) and the life total will remain unchanged. In this DK form, when Jace dies, the original hero will be returned in it's original form and lose it's DK abilities.
Where everything is from: (Basically Lore and Decision Explanation)
Jace Beleren is obviously based off of Jace, the Mind Sculptor. But of course, there's more allusions.
Jace's Hero Power Mental Magic uses the art from the MtG card Talent of the Telepath which also is a card that can cost other spells for "free". It is quite "fun" to use >:D
The names Mind Sculpt, Ponder, and Unsummon each share some similarity to an existing Magic: the Gathering card. They are as follows.
(Mind Sculpt was changed to reveal the top card rather than remove. This reflects the original Jace ability better)
There are many MTG cards similar to Traumatize, but none of them fit it just perfectly. The name comes from here:
The art of the card Ponder comes from Jace, Unraveler of Secrets.
(Oh, have you noticed it is the same as the card Pursue from the Spellbook Duel Tavern Brawl? You can find that here: https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Tavern_Brawl#Spellbook_Duel)
Thank you to Cogito_Ergo_Sum, Linkblade91, Nurgling13, RazorOfArtorias, Livienna, and FluxFlashor for helping me.
Well actually, just the first three. RazorOfArtorias just wowed with his extremely exemplar Explorer Extraordinaire portrait outline. Also, Livienna's just a cool person in general, and Flux was the first person who helped me figure out how to use a forum. So I guess he helped indirectly...
Oh and mods? If lol i'm confident When, I continue to the next phase, It'd be great if you can write like the explanations of the rules in a spoiler inside of the spoiler with the tokens at the end. This is one HECK of a complex card.

it's completely balanced, the only unbalanced thing about Druid is the infinite Jade Idol mechanic and Maybe Living Mana
do i have any sources?
today's data reaper report show's aggro and Jade druid as the highest win-rate decks withh 55% and 54% respectively while showing Plague Druid as having 48% win-rate, Plague runs both Spreading Plague and UI yet its winrate is low while aggro doesn't run either and its win rate is pretty high, so the logical conclusion is that UI and Plague aren't the culprits of a Druid dominated meta but something about Jade is, however if you see, jade rogue and Shamman aren't working wonders atm and the difference that Druid has on his Jade package is jade Idol, so, yes, the culprit is Jade Idol.
