posted a message on I refuse to use more than one zombie chow

No one has mentioned this, but Ramp Druid can use 2x chow very effectively. Admittedly Ramp hasn't been doing too well lately, but when your deck is in it for the long haul and doesn't have big sweepers and limited spot removal, being able to contest the board if you don't ramp is pretty important. Plus, in the late game it's another body for Savage Roar. The five hp heal isn't a big deal when you plan on bashing your opponent's face in with an Ancient of War or an Emerald Drake.

It also synergizes well with Power: Word Shield. Not only do both minions get the +2 health, you get to draw 2 cards. Lots of potential with this card. I can see new decks that fit this guy in, looking forward to it.

I don't think you get to draw 2 cards. If you look at the card text in Power Word: Shield, you'll see that the text is divided in two. It's "Give a minion +2 health. Draw a card." The card-draw is a separate thing from the buff, and won't get copied. It happens after the buff.
The card doesn't say "when a friendly minion is buffed, put the same buff on this minion."
It says to cast a COPY OF THE SPELL on this minion. Drawing a card is part of the spell's effect, hence it will happen a second time.

I'm wondering if this is priced right. It's a 4 mana assassinate with a body, so I made it 9 mana to make it a bit awkward curve wise, and then made it trigger at the end of your turn. Do y'all think it can trigger as soon as it enters play instead, or would that be broken. What about the body size?

    Thanks in advance!

In what form did they manipulate votes and to what extent? A few fake accounts? How many votes were manipulated?

The particulars of this situation are not relevant, the fact that vote manipulation occurred was only made public since a new person was crowned the winner of the contest, as the former winner has been disqualified.

As a rule, incidents between users and Hearthpwn/Hearthpwn staff are private, the public will not be made privy to any details regarding said incident (or even that an incident exists) unless explicitly necessary, as it was here so the appropriate winner would receive proper recognition.

If one of the cards is Fist of Jaraxxus, playing the other one will discard and trigger Fist of Jaraxxus.

I think both have their merits, tho I think Bash is slightly better of the 2, tho I can see one of each as a good middle ground.

posted a message on Annoying kids in Hearthstone...

I'm going to go ahead and lock this as it doesn't contain anything constructive regarding Dr. Boom, pack RNG, or Patron Warrior.

Please feel free to talk about any of those subjects in an appropriate thread if you are willing to take a stance and provide reasons for taking that side (here's the appropriate Patron Warrior thread) WITHOUT flaming/trolling. Threads like this that do not have anything to back up the stance taken usually only lead to flaming, hence I have locked this thread.

I don't see how people don't realize one important point:

Combo decks ALWAYS are favored versus Control decks.

The reason for this is that Control doesn't apply much pressure, meaning that combo decks have plenty of time to draw their combo.

Control warrior is the only exception to this rule, since Armor lets Warrior overheal out of range of some combos (hence why CW is historically well off versus combo rogues, Miracle and Oil).

This isn't to say that Patron Warrior is balanced, but that's partly why Flood said Dragon decks suck vs. Patron warrior, they often can't pressure enough to stop quality combo decks.

Watch the video please, it was turn 8 for god sake!, a LOT of decks wouldn't have had a chance in that situation... omg, what I'm talking about???, probably no f...cking deck could have done anything about it and just lose...

Emperor was a HUGE buff to combo decks, tbh I coulda done the same thing with an Oil Rogue or a worgen warrior with a god hand and thaurissan tick.

I'm not saying patron is balanced, but my point remains that I'm bored of people complaining about combo decks, since it's often raging without anything constructive posted.

I had to register here because of you :D

This deck's draw potential is 0. You have to be ultralucky to get the Oracle, yet jeevs mostly gives you one card and gets removed by opponent. How am I supposed to keep pressure on enemy when I have 2 cards in hand 2 on table,  15 hp, and no draw?

Remember to make the most of your cards and mana, you don't win by out-drawing your opponent, you win by dropping their HP below one.

If you go first, you can see over 20% of your deck before you even play, and almost 30% if you go second (assuming you mulligan everything), seeing as you run 2 copies of oracle your chances of drawing one aren't that bad. Not amazing sure, but good enough. Your curve is low enough than unless you're dropping Jeeves naked on turn 4, you should never draw less than 2 cards off of him, and getting 3 cards should be common.

Sure, compared to Druid or Warlock this deck lacks draw, and sometimes it will bite you, but it won't more times than not.

Sounds pretty cool.  I kinda want a shotgun, but don't really see a use for it.

Also, I wouldn't consider it $400.  By the time you pay tax, shipping, and FFL transfer fees it'll probably add another $100.

Well where I live 12 gauge ammo is plentiful, plus a shotgun is a versatile hunting weapon (birdshot for bird-types, slugs for deer).

I know it'll cost more than that, I just by habit refer to items by the stated price and tack on the extra cost in my head automatically, since the other values can fluctuate a bit.
