WillPwn posted a message on Dire Brood - Wild Quest HunterPosted in: Dire Brood - Wild Quest HunterAll fair comments but hunter has such notoriously bad draw that I don’t think you can cut a Cult Master without substituting it for an alternative draw method, especially since were adding 6 extra cards to the deck with Dire Frenzy.
ironbeak owl was a tech choice for voidlords, and I reckon the new Witchwood taunts will be prevelant

Zaliethan posted a message on Dire Brood - Wild Quest HunterPosted in: Dire Brood - Wild Quest HunterGreat deck, lots os synergies, but I think Jeweled Macaw should be in this list. I've been playing hunter alot and I've realized that despite Dire Mole being great at turn 1, followed by a Crackling Razormaw, Jeweled Macaw does draw you a beast that can potentially help you curve out better in those cases when your hand isn't that great. Since this is a quest deck with Prince Keleseth, there's no need to set up turn 1or turn 2 plays, and I think 2 Cult Master with no Unleash the Hounds is kinda bad.

Berbat posted a message on 16 DAMAGE HERO POWER ODD QUEST TAUNT WARRIORPosted in: 16 DAMAGE HERO POWER ODD QUEST TAUNT WARRIORCan't really say what would be a good change for 1 creeper, maybe a tar lord. Militia is good but before 6 it's literally a 3 mana 2/3 which is weak in my opinion.
Blackwald pixie on the other hand is a good card stat-wise even without the effect, so 1 is definitely worth it. Furious Ettin is a solid arena card but a very mediocre card for constructed because its just a big body which can be easily removed and at 7 mana that is game deciding. As i said in a previous comment, Elise is a good card because you could possibly get a removal or clear or a second win condition via the card pack, but is changable for other late game options. I don't like the rng of Molten Blade because it can give things like the 1/4 weapon when you would need a 3/2 weapon which is much more consistent.
While the town crier is a very good card, it's not useful in this deck because you don't have any rush minions. You could possibly cut Elise for Darius Crowley or some other rush minion and then put in a town crier. I'm just not sure if rush minions are a good fit in this deck type.

FrostedSapling posted a message on [WW] Greymane and the DudesPosted in: [WW] Greymane and the DudesThe deck could use some knife jugglers and dire wolf alphas. I don't think the beetles do much since this deck wants to finish games pretty quickly because it loses hard to control

Blackthrn posted a message on Spellstone Control warriorPosted in: Spellstone Control warriorGood post, OD! I'm looking forward to see you try this one.
Over the past couple of weeks, as cards got released, people have been talking in general on how OP Exodia Mage will be, and based on how everyone will be trying some of those lists out, maybe Dirty Rat can also find a place on this list to target combo oriented decks.
The only armor generation in the deck comes out of Shield Block and a 3 out of 4 6 mana spell. Good luck getting enough armor for the Gemstudded Golem to attack. Especially, with almost no other taunts to conserve some armor as well.
Medivh, the Guardian may struggle to get any value in a meta with several weapon removal options, plus the gamble to get a good 7 drop like Archmage Antonidas or Swamp King Dred from the Spellstone will probably leave you very sad most of the time - there are so many 7 drops that do nothing or are simply bad/understated you might as well be OK just playing your Arcane Tyrant for tempo swings, instead of trying to make Atiesh work (so many bad 5 drops as well).
Furthermore, with such a low number of weapons in the deck, you might even struggle to upgrade the Spellstone to begin with. Those matches without Blood Razor will be so hard.
Are you sure the tempo you try to generate with this list will be able to beat Razakus Priest or Jade Druid? I think it will have a hard time to close some of those games out. The DKs will out-value this deck without any Dead Man's Hand tricks.
BUT, I don't want to be too negative just feeding some thoughts for your tinkering process. I think you should still try your original ideas and update this guide with experiences (and highlights!) after. You know I'd love some MessyOD-defined-Hearthstone-meta (Kappa). :) - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

For the players who didn't knew: The non Baku version is even better! I did a lot of research and the Balu version had 2 big problems. 1) lack of card draw and 2) very inefficient mana use. Those to basics a not worth playing Baku. I don't want to spoil all the fun because gaining a lot of armor is pretty fun. You wil feel invinseble! This uploaded version has to many taunts. This is replaceble with Town Crier and some rush dudes (remember: rush=removal). It also thins out your deck for better draw chances.
This deck has a few very good match-ups (hunter, mindblast priest for example) but also really bad ones (cube warlock, paladin). It's fine for ladder (don't espect this will take you to a high legend spot) but more useful in tournaments especially last hero standing.

I like this deck and your idea but...... don't get me wrong, this is a meme deck. Building a deck around the one wombo combo legenday will not work for tournament or high rank play. The problem is drawing your Shudderwock :(. It's also 9 mana so it's not a keep in your opening hand like Reno Jackson was. It's better to make a shaman deck, for example Elemental Shaman (this has a lot of battle cries), and then add Shudderwock. It will have a highYogg-Saron, Hope's End kind of style :D. Please let me know what you think!

This is a really cool idea! I think Prince Keleseth is a good idea in this deck since you run alot of 1 drops. I'm not fond off the Cult Master because you also ''draw'' with Tol'vir Warden and Ravencaller. I feel like that might be enough. Btw, don't add Raptor Hatchling. It will put cards in your deck and that will decrease the chances of drawing your combo's. Talking about combo's and powerhouses like Prince Keleseth, Tracking is absolutly great!
I think I whould remove Animal Companion and Cult Master and add a second Wing Blast and Toxmonger. That will leave us to one more slot were you can add a second Hunter's Mark. If you play two Hunter's Mark you can also cut out Ironbeak Owl. Maybe a second Candleshot will work.

Two Tar Creeper is too much. I can tell you that from my experience. Phantom Militia is really interesting. I think is can be decent because if you echo it once you have a turn 6 play and the whole problem with this deck is the mana floating on even turns. Blackwald Pixy is 100% not worth it. You have only benefit at turn 7 because of hero power -> Pixy -> hero power. On turn 7 I whould rather have a nice 7 drop :D. Furious Ettin? Is Elise the Trailblazer nessecary? You finish you opponent with your hero power right? What about Molten Blade? Can it replace Fiery War Axe because the deck is peaking on 3. What do you think about a Town Crier package to thin out your deck for better draw results? It will also help on the even turns because its a one drop. Please let me know what you think!

You are right about the drawing issue with Sleep with the Fishes. If you want to be stronger vs aggro you might try Tar Creeper or Lone Champion. Ally armorsmith might also do the trick.

Did the same in my 3.0 version. If you run 2 Bladed Gauntlet, you dont need Shield Slam

Funny stuff!!

Yes your right, Maybe it's stronger in some kind of druid build. I think you don't play 1 attack of 2 attack minions.

I just finished my Spellstone Warrior. Please take a look :D

Looks very nice! But I'm not sure about the Sleepy Dragon. I think that card can be a brick in your hand. I think it's a nice card in general. I like the overall strategy but I have my doubts if this is going to work in general. Playing only one 1-attack, one 2-attack and one 3-attack for your cool super combo will exclute other good cards for this control-like archetype like Lone Champion.
How do you feel about adding Unidentified Shield, second Brawl or maybe even Ironforge Portal? Those can be combined with Arcane Tyrant. In that case you get more minions on board and Cobalt Scalebane could be added. It's also nice with mister Drakkari Enchanter. Maybe The Lich King is also an option.
Wow! you guys give me a lot of ideas. I think I'm going to make a build myself :D
