Handlocks my main deck, so this is very disappointing, hopefully it'll still be playable but honestly I just don't see it. On the flipside, with the removal of a ton of burst from the game and the overall nerfs to silence and BGH things might even out. Time will tell.

    Everybody is comparing to Flamewaker...

But that's not right since Flamewaker will be rotating out next year heheh Elegiggle

At that point this card will be sooo meta

Lol even then I'd rather have water elemental tbh. This card just seems like a waste of a decent idea. Btw, anyone know if the ability can target enemies that are already frozen? Because if it can this card is just dust.

I think that the elemental should have taunt, this would probably make bloodlust shammy good. 8 dmg (weapon) + 4 (elemental) + 4 (if you have windfury in you deck) +6 (bloodlust) =22 dmg on turn 7 with the weapon on 5

that would be so strong tho

yea i dont think tat would be a good idea

taunt has no effect on how much damage this could send out
Lol, in fact taunt would technically reduce the amount of damage because there'd be no situation where the opponent might ignore the 4/2.

Anyone know how many class cards we're getting this expansion? Trying to calculate how much of this set we've seen already.

We're getting 134 cards this expansion. 48 were released so far. Source: top sticky topic of reddit/r/hearthstone
Thanks, but I meant class cards. I was trying to calculate how many shaman cards were left to be revealed.

People really need to stop comparing this to doomhammer, apples vs oranges, 5 mana vs 5 mana overload 2, creature removal vs face damage. One gets wrecked by Harrison jones, one actually wrecks harrison jones. I really don't get the comparisons.

This may or may not see play, but it'll have nothing to do with doomhammer imo, nerf or not, especially since doomhammer wasn't even a maintstay in midrange shaman decks(back when they existed).

It's when a deck has a shit ton of late game cards, like Trumps CW that runs about 10 legendaries if my math is right.

Varian does kinda suck since like 90% of the creatures in the deck have battlecries. However, even if you miss out on the battlecries, you're getting a 7/7, a 2/4 and let's say a 2/2 all for 10 mana, in addition to thinning out your deck. I'm still not 100% sold on him, I'm not sure if I'm just biased because he pulled gromm(I run gromm) and Ysera the last time I played him, or if he's actually a really good card. But that's what experimentation is for I guess.

posted a message on Justicar True Heart Vs. Sylvanas Windrunner

The jury is still out on Justicar, she seems really good in paladin(and okay in warrior) but that's about it. She's too slow for pretty much every other current deck. Slyvanas on the other hand is one of the best legendaries in the game, period. She's so versatile it's insane, so long as you aren't stupid about it and just toss on the board all willy nilly she can singlehandedly turn games around for you. She's not useable in every deck, and she's kinda bad vs certain classes(shaman, hunters if they have freezing traps up) but if you plan on playing some kind of control deck in the future you will not regret crafting her.

posted a message on varian is he neccecary

I don't know if he's necessary yet, but speaking from personal experience he is really good. I wasn't sure about him in my deck because like 90 percent of the creatures in it have battlecries, but even pulling out 2 blackwing technicians as 2/4s and drawing 1 card can go a long way to turning a game around. Even in the games where he drew me 3 spells, he ended up winning the game for me since I top decked lethal like 2 turns later.

He might not be an auto include in every warrior deck, but I definitely think he's pretty good.

I was wondering if you think sneed's old shredder has a place in this deck?

No.... it doesn't really add anything to, or synergize with any of the cards in the deck. It's also very slow, I've found highmane to be too slow sometimes, can't even imagine trying to find time to drop a sneeds.

Not really tbh, the only other replacement would have been al'akir, but he already runs that. You could try teching in a Kezan mystic to help with the hunter match-up.

With those stats. She's not going to last... Too slow against fast decks. Terrible stats against control decks(easy clear).

The question is also, Why not just play sneeds?

Because if you actually play this on 9 it's guaranteed value whereas sneeds can get silenced, or worse hexed and you either end up with a 5/7 or an 0/1 with taunt for your 8 mana. I'm not saying this card will be good, my first reaction was "OMG THIS IS INSANE", but after calming down a little the rng might be too much with this. Especially for 9 mana, I mean Ysera is RNG, but the variance isn't as wide.

But the sneeds comparison does make me think this won't see much play, I mean 90% of the time you're only getting 1 legendary off this, which is pretty similar to sneeds, and that card barely see's any play. If nothing else though this card will probably produce some awesome Trolden clips.

I'm kinda disappointed it wasn't therazane, was hoping we'd get the 4th elemental lord(although I guess she could still be a neutral). This card seems pretty awesome though, although it is a massive tempo loss, but so if thaurissan so yea. It's probably going to need it's own deck though, can't imagine he'd fit in a regular midrange shaman.

I do wish it got the taunt regardless and you only needed the dragon for the +1 attack, but I'm feeling the new dragons they've introduced. We still need a solid 8 drop dragon(I'm sorry, chromaggus just doesn't cut it), but the curve is filling out nicely.
