well, first of all 2 years isn't a short period of time. you're talking like the F2P player aims to collect all cards and experiment building failed decks, etc.
Look at streamers' free to play runs, man. they just craft the strongest deck and that will be so easy if you disenchant the cards you have from ((2 years old)) expansions. Then you'll start acquiring packs which will only help you go further.
This is actually slightly discouraging for me to spend any more money if anything at all.
why would a new F2P player want to craft old cards if they have the choice to play a format which will never have them ? specially that standard format will be the official format for competitive play.
I have no problem with mysterious challenger pulling 6 cards out of the deck, the deck is lower quality so it balances out. But divine favor is broken af.

in zoo it's really easy to pull off

actually paladin has one of if not the best pool of cards, i can't think of more than 2-3 cards that are just straight up bad
