Does it trigger deathrattle? In this case it would be such a good card in some adapted decks...

Mentioned several times in this thread already, but destroying cards does not trigger any kind of currently existing effect.

This card could make combo pally a thing, dealing 25 dmg with holy wrath and molten consistently is pretty good

You mean 50 dmg, right? (obviously not an easy combo to set up, but not impossible also)

2x auctioneer 1x fandral 2x jade idol 2x jade blossom 1x this bad boy

Rest of deck is 3 or less cost spells and minions designed to cycle and survive.

Mulligan for hemet and idol which is all you need for combowombo

Not sure how viable it would be, especially if hemet is near bottom.

Seems on tier with astral communion. Fun, but probably not consistent enough.

Hunterquest will probably be easier to combo.

posted a message on I need an Arena tutor

Heartharena is great for pointing out weak cards and potential synergies in draft.

For convenience overwolf will let you see heartharena ratings in-game while you draft.

HS Deck Tracker is great for keeping track of what's in your deck.

HS Deck Tracker lets you upload replays to hsreplays.net so you (presumably) can share them and get critique that way (much more efficient).

Keep in mind that 4 wins average is not bad. 6-7 wins average is top-tier.

posted a message on Jade Idol - NERF

I think blizzard should nerf cheap minions into the ground before they consider nerfing anything else.

They don't seem too worried, though, considering the goon- and pirate-meta they seem hell bent on establishing.

Seems good with shadowstep and shadowcaster.

Add brann and some brewmasters and every jade golem quickly becomes a 1.5-mana megabuffed van cleef.

posted a message on Druid Card Reveal - Jade Blossom

The Jade Golem needs to be awesome for this to be playable. A 1/1 or even a 2/2 is not enough (except in highlander decks).

Wild growth curves into mire-keeper, and both of those cards are vastly superior to a 2/2 token for 3 mana when you already have 9/10 mana.

Personally I hope the jade golem turns out to be a random token from a pool of tokens that are strong in different situations, just like animal companion or even the shaman hero power. A chance to roll spellpower, for example, would be very welcome in druid.

Given that we seem to have the artwork, and that said artwork is rather brawnish, there is a possibility that we might get a quite strong token, but possibly with a drawback? Something like: http://imgur.com/a/iPkQI
    Jade Golem?

posted a message on For (1000) GC, What is your Choice ?

I have 60.8% winrate in arena, which makes it wildly profitable compared to constructed.
It's also generally quicker, at least for me since I usually play control.
Heroic is a big no-go, but I like the concept and I am looking forward to checking out some runs on youtube.

posted a message on New Druid Card - Pilfered Power

It's a fun card and people will try to make it work.

It's actually a very strong indirect buff to living roots (and zergy minions in general) because if you drop roots on turn 1-3 the opponent will go to greater lengths to remove them than before possibly making less than ideal plays/trades.

Also does not draw a card at 10 mana, so by then it is truly 100% dead.

Wild growth, mire keeper, innervate, and nourish are all considerably more consistent. Astral communion is probably less consistent, but more spectacular when it works.

Pretty good result from raven idol or other random effects if you already have a couple of minions.

posted a message on Will Overwatch go Free to Play?

I really thought OW would be ftp, and I was moderately excited about it, but now that the decision has been made it will not turn ftp for the forseeable future. Charging "full" price for a game, and then making it ftp is a good way to alienate loyal customers. Also, the game seems to be getting a very favorable reception and the new competition is also not ftp it seems, which supports OW's payment model.

I wish they would use a payment model like in HOTS, but I suppose that does not give players enough incentive to pay.

As far as I can see all the mage-decks are identical. Seems like someone made a mistake somewhere, or is mage really that static?

I play more and I watch youtube a LOT more.

For me personally wotog is a lot more interesting than tgt.

I also notice a huge decline in useless decks around rank 20, which probably is due to C'thun, and as such I applaud blizzard for making him and giving him out for free.

posted a message on Cabalist's tome in arena

Cabalist Tome is only good because it competes in the epic slot, which is generally very slow. Conjurer has decent tempo, and the discover mechanic makes it just as likely that he will give you the "out" compared to Tome.
