Frustrated by zoo in general, all the synergy afforded by Forbidden Ritual is pretty overbearing situationally, makes board clears that much more invaluable.

     Forbidden + councilman = GG.
Yep... I had a pally who couldnt get on board and finally wiped councilman and other with eq + con ... I proceeded to throw out another councilman + Forbidden ... he roped then conceded. Other than against patron, Zoo is in a great spot right now

    Quote from robo_hs >>

What a bunch of self-righteous brats around here.  I read all these posts and all I see is "I don't have enough self esteem so anytime I find an easy target I can blast without thinking I do it to feel a little bit better about myself"

Most of you know damn well what OP is talking about.  Hearthstone has fallen into a serious rut highlighted by the WOG release, where winning at all costs is destroying the casual & fun aspect of the game.  Experimenting is fun ... when you're not losing ALL THE TIME to netdecks.  Winning is fun ... when you feel like it's a challenge or the result of your own actions.  Put me squarely in the camp of long-time players who struggle more and more every day to find the fun in HS.

Of course we can scrap it and move on.  But we've put in so much time and/or money which makes it hard, plus the nostalgia for better days makes it even harder.  We don't want to move on to another game, we want Blizzard to realize how their game modes lead to nothing but grinding and saltiness, and give use some better ones.  Talking about it helps, but not with such righteous selfish attitudes I see here.

Talk about "self-righteous" ... with a comment like that
The deal is... this game is what you make of it
Have I felt frustrated by a certain meta (secret pally) so much that I step away, or just grind dailies? sure
But if your not shooting for legend then who cares about winning or losing, I have made 4 decks so far this expac 2 are about 50% one is 80% and the other is 30%.... the fun is that I built them pre expac and now get to TEST! its doesnt matter what I test against because it is more data to refine. The meta is not as "stale" as people want to say it is (atleast compared to a month ago)
IF your feeling frustrated, then step away and come back in a month.
If you want to have more fun? make a crazy deck and go at it, dont worry about winning or losing. even if you lose 5 in a row! you should enjoy tweaking the deck, it is a card game after all
and then when you win you can say "I built that and it beat that filthy netdecker" or whatever deck you hate at the moment

    they win so rarely

this so much... If you're a winner, then one game doesnt matter. Ie - a win is a win move on to the next

BMers lose so often they just try to make others miserable .... Once you realize this you actually feel sorry for them (or laugh at the patheticness)...  just squelch and move on

posted a message on Are people frustrated with the new expansion!? Increased BM..
    Quote from Mariposis >>

Not with the expansion, but yes with the standard mode, i expected to see people trying to use cards that never were used before, instead it's a face shaman / c'thun druid competition

seriously? Ive climbed from rank 16 to 7
    Ive seen:
    3 different druid archetypes (ATs)
    1 warrior AT
    2 mage ATs
    2 rogue ATs
    3 shaman ats
    1 hunter ATs
    1 priest AT
    3 different warlock ATs
    and a Paladin AT
Thats 17 different deck Achetypes, some c'thun overlap of course but all played differently and having their own strengths and weaknesses

Its time to stop this BS about only 1 or 2 decks on ladder... IT'S SIMPLY NOT TRUE

Dude this is the best Expac since GvG!
TgT sucked and LoE was meh.... nothing has shaken up what people play this much since GvG, and i for one welcome it. Really excited for this year.
But ya know... you could always quit and no one would care... so you got that going for ya

posted a message on New Druid Legendary Card - Fandral Staghelm

    Quote from Sherman1986 >>

This card is great. First legendary I crafted and tested during a lot of matches using a druid deck with C'Thun that I made, and Fandral Staghelm always performed very well. The cards with the choose one mechanic I'm running are: two Raven Idols, two Wraths, two Nourish, two Mire Keepers and two Druid of the Claw (I'm not running Ancient of War, since Twin Emperor Vek'lor is usually more powerful and reliable, and also, two Dark Arakkoa, that cost 1 mana less than the Ancients, are great and enough most of the time, but I'm still testing the deck). Very easy to combo, and when you use it with a card like Nourish the value can be insane (not only if you have already another card with the choose one mechanic in hand, but because there are high chances to draw another cheap card with this effect that you can play after it, since Nourish gives you 2 mana crystals to use in the same turn). Also, it doesn't work like Ben Brode said during the Whispers of the Old Gods stream, it actually works in the optimal way, for example: if you play Cenarius, it summons the two Treants first and then it gives +2/+2 to all minions, including the Treants; and I also crafted again a Keeper of the Grove to test the effect (actually two, to being able to draw one faster and test this more easily :P), and it silences the target first and then deals 2 damage. Excellent card.

All this by assuming your opponent won't have a removal for a 5 health (or less if there is a minion on board) minion which quite frankly it's either bad luck or poor planning.
By definition since yesterday you should muligan a removal for Fandral when encountering a Druid.
Playing him on turn 8+ it's godly though.
No man, I almost never cared about if the opponent had removal or not for this, because, most of the time, I combo it at the moment I play it (I almost never play it when I only have 4 mana crystals). If it survives great, but it's really not necessary. Even using this legendary with Nourish when you have 9 mana is excellent, because it's like actually paying 7 mana in total for the combo, since Nourish (as I already said in one of my previous posts) gives you 2 additional mana crystals to use in the same turn, and you can play another, although a lot cheaper (except if you draw or had Innervate in hand), card with the choose one mechanic thanks to it (and again, that you already had in hand, or drawn thanks to Nourish). Think about it like a combo card, not a stand alone 4 drop, and you have to have that in mind when building the deck.
I did that actually lol... Fandral + nourish -> drew a wrath -> killed azure drake -> drew C'thun for next turn win
    I love this card
