You know how card texts sometimes don’t manage to convey what the reality of what the card does? For instance in battlegrounds, rivendare has “taunt if you play this card or elusive if your opponent plays this card”. Well the new weekly quests aren’t +20% XP, they are -100% XP because there is no way I’m playing 60 miniaturize cards or winning 15 games of battlegrounds in a week.

Oireal posted a message on 29.0.2 Patch Notes - Balance Changes for Battlegrounds and Arena & Many Bug FixesPosted in: NewsDarkbishop Benedictus was added to the Core Set last year and rotated this year. Unless you crafted or opened up Benedictus in packs, you only had the card temporarily. Madame Lazul replaced Benedictus and is now the Priest Core Set Legendary for this rotation. This means that Lazul replaced Benedictus as the "loan" card and will likely rotate out again next year and be replaced with a different Priest Legendary.

I still have mine that I got in Stormwind.

xskarma posted a message on 29.0.2 Patch Notes - Balance Changes for Battlegrounds and Arena & Many Bug FixesPosted in: NewsThis is likely not a bug, but due to the Core set changes. Core cards were not part of your collection you were gifted them for use as long as the Core set was active.
Same thing is true for such Death Knight cards as Patchwerk. You were gifted those through the Core set and if you want to continue using them (in WILD only!) you have to craft them.

checkchiron posted a message on Whizbang's Workshop Launch Day - Everything You Need To Know!Posted in: NewsUsually the expansions release 19:00 CET in europe. I think that should be the time. As America has daylight savings time already and Europe doesn't. Same happened with the announcement of the start of the community day stream on this website. Time was one hour off for europe aswell :)

AndreiLux posted a message on Say My Name is This Week's Tavern BrawlPosted in: NewsSame feelings. I remember all the cards from first 6-7 years, but can't remember a lot of new ones so I completed the brawl only after two resets. Especially DH, many cards from last couple of years are the same picture to me. Still a fun brawl, although perhaps annoying for new players.

Dunscot posted a message on Say My Name is This Week's Tavern BrawlPosted in: NewsI can definitely tell with this Brawl that after some point in Hearthstone's history I stopped paying attention to the card names. Three expansions plus mini-set per year, hundreds of cards and you only see about half or less of them regularly enough to remember them, a much smaller fraction remains relevant in Wild, and this year in year out.
I played a couple rounds and could remember some obscure card from TGT or Frozen Throne just fine, but some Demon Hunter card nobody ever used and I'm like "oh right, I completely forgot this even exists".
I had to guess Eredar Deceptor, and also had the name for Illidari Inquisitor on hand, and thought that Eredar sounds more like a Warlock card I probably never used. In hindsight, I can remember the Inquisitor just fine, but that's yet another card I haven't seen in a long time and rarely ever used myself.

the only thing you're forgetting is that they want as many people as possible to actually play this brawl
it's no coincidence it's always live a couple weeks before mini-set releases
they want people to throw away gold so that those people will buy the mini-set or the packs with real money, and an average player WILL lose that gold

thanks for letting us know

and?
there have been tons of different bundles for quite some time now, and this is just another one

new Paladin hero is great against them too
won a game today I thought i lost for sure thanks to halving the damage and putting up a huge board

it's because you can get a diamond one on the rewards track for free, so if you open it in packs or get from preorder you're missing out so they are giving full dust refund for him

I can't believe Hearthpwn still doesnt have the technology to display the token or cards associated with some other cards(like quest rewards for old quests or questline steps etc)
2
I'm guessing they are using BGs to test this in action in a live patch and we're going to see constructed cards utilising this either in the summer or winter expansion
2
yes, you did mean core set
those wild cards that might be coming back, are coming back as part of the core set that will be totally free for everyone

the thing is, HS is a very balanced game
trust me, you wouldn't want to see what an unbalanced version of Hearthstone looks like ;)

it will actually make a difference if you are missing some cards that were Hall of Famed like Rag or Sylvanas as they will again be openable from the packs
