Having a foundation card is very important for a TCG
Orly? Can you specify? What cards for example in Magic are cross-deck musthave like Dr 7 in Hearthstone? There is none, i believe. When you build a deck in Magic you don't have thoughts like "well, i probably need to add this card either way because it's stupidly OP".
Dual lands/pain lands. Pretty much must haves in every deck, depending on format legality. And generally every Standard season has a variation (fetch, shocks, etc).
And in Vintage (which if you consider vintage a sort of unrestricted format like we currently have in Hearthstone), Black Lotus is played in like 95% of decks.
Black Lotus is banned in Vintage tournament format. Try again. Also, lands are the equivalent of mana. Of course everybody uses them.
Actually, Black Lotus is restricted in Vintage. You can play 1. You are likely thinking of Legacy.
Lands are the equivalent of mana, but non-basics also perform other functions. For instance Wasteland is another non-basic often used. But if it wasn't for it's non-mana use, no one would run it.

Since the spell is only pulled from Druid's spells, I could easily see this played as a third Swipe/Wrath/etc, hoping that one of the 3 you get to pick is that.
I agree somewhat. Cards like Duress in Magic were definitely not super overpowered, but in Magic, you ran 4 copies of cards. In Hearthstone, with Legends, you only run 1, so a targeted card discard is more powerful than in Magic. I think it would be far more interesting, if you could select a card and put it on the bottom of the player's deck. It's still there, but you have time to react to it.
Also as a poster above said, Randomness in code is not true randomness. It is based off an algorithm. The more likely scenario, is that there is a bug in their code to generate random results and you just happened across the bug.
I think people forget that this game is a collectible card game. Yes, you can play for free, but if you want to be competitive, then you are going to have to spend money. Take a look at MtG. Everytime a new set is released, in order to play in tournaments, you have to get the best cards (often times being 20 dollars a piece and you need 4 of each). At least in Hearthstone, you have a non-money option in gold/dust.
I think it would be a good enhancement to automatically tag threads created in the Fan Creations section with a prefix stating as such in the title. Mostly this helps during the time periods when new cards are being discovered for expansions/adventures. It's quite annoying to see a thread in the recent activity section say "New card, etc" to go into it and see that it is a fan creation and not a newly discovered card.
Not sure if he would fit Priest or what else, since really he was an apothecary, but I'd like to see Grand Apothecary Putress as the undead/forsaken hero.
Well, since we have an alliance Pally, the two notable Horde pallys are:
Lady Liadrin - Blood Elf
Sunwalker Dezco - Tauren
Since we have Horde warlock:
Wilfred Fizzlebang - Gnome
Though personally, I think Cho'gall (Ogre) would be cooler and would bring a race that no class would likely represent otherwise.
Senjin is actually a priest, not a shaman. I'm expecting Nubundu as the shaman hero, since it is both Alliance and represent another race (broken/draenei)
I think they would have to change the Shaman totems, since in WoW, the totem graphics are specific to race. And the current set of totem graphics are linked to Orcs. It will definitely be interesting to see what they do.
They moved the crafting mode button to the bottom. Does that mean they need the space on top to add new classes? MAYBE!
It really is sad that Blizzard immediately went for the Powercreep option without even trying to add new mechanics to the game.
This. They could have explored other options before going straight for the power creep. Less than a year into the game, we're already at 1 mana for a 2/3, granted there's a drawback, but things are only going to get worse. You can't reverse power creep, it only continues to climb. I just don't see how this game will sustain itself for years to come. I suppose they can go the format route like other TCGs and drop the power level in new sets.
Um, at the beginning of the game there was a 3/2 for 1 mana, granted there's a drawback.
I honestly don't see the power creep argument. If anything, I think in a few places they have set the bar too high and need power creep. For instance, one of the things in MTG that hindered Agro decks was Wrath of God. A 4 mana clear all creatures. The equivalent in HS is Twisting Nether which is unplayable due to the mana cost. If that was available at 4 mana in HS, Control decks would actually have a chance against aggro.

I'd like to see a draw spell that heals your opponent. Would help a control hunter, without helping face. Something like:
Phoenix Boon, 3 Mana
Draw 3 cards. Your opponent gains 8 health.

I often play either normal CW or Inspire CW. With both, I have a hard time against totem shaman and Mysterious Pally.

Doesn't MTGO still exist? Why wouldn't you just play that? Or does this replace that?

Did you create a new account, just to post this again and have it seem like a different person, or was this your opponent?

Maybe silence first like Earth Shock? That way if you kill a minion with deathrattle, the deathrattle does not trigger.
