I like cards that say, "You want to play that irritating combo that no one likes? Too bad, go fuck yourself!"

Tickatus is one of those cards. 

I really cannot understand the hatred that the card gets - I see it as a necessary card in Wild, where Mecha'thun and other such combos exist. I see the people who whine about this card 95% either have never played against Giantslock, AK47/Toggwaggle Druid, and that shitty Hysteria combo deck, or whiteknight those decks and whine when Blizzard does necessary nerfs. The fact that Coldlight Oracle, which is infinitely more oppressive than Tickatus, can do the same fucking thing, yet have so many defenders of that shitty excuse of a card, is the express reason that I auto-nerf any Rogue card I come across in packs, because FUCK. THAT. CARD.

I mean, you could play that shitty as hell excuse that Wizards of the Coast passes off as MTG: Arena, where there they drag their heels on nerfing cards because they have to make broken shit to sell their powercreeped sets. Because that is the mindset that I think that these Tickatus whiners have.

Have Hysteria only target enemy minions.

I already see Runaway Blackwing becoming an insufferable pain in the ass in Big Priest. Hard to establish a board when your opponent can basically destroy any minion you play on their turn. Plus it can attack. Plus it helps the Big Priest save their removal spells for something else.

I hope to shout that there's nerfs to Big Priest soon, because that card alone is going to make Big Priest Tier 1 again. Fucking lovely.

A Jumbo Imp doesn't take 5 cards from your opponent's library - 10 if it gets boosted with Brann. You aren't thinking straight here - the odds of pulling Tickatus from a Voidcaller in a Renolock are incredibly small. 

You're saying that an 8/8 Demon is something to scoff at?

I figure that the people that are whining about the new awards system never really cared about the rewards, they just wanted farms and bots to do the work for them. 

Honestly, after playing the deck quite a bit, although its super fun, overall the strategy is not that strong.

Sure it may feel unfair to have 5 (or 10) cards ripped from your deck, but the only way that has any impact is if you have a combo card removed, or if the game goes into fatigue. The deck still usually loses to aggro, and even against control you often still hit fatigue at the same time on account of you drawing so much just to find Tickitus and an activator. And what commonly happens is that you end up playing with a full hand that feels clumsy. For example you can easily end up with a full hand, and are left wandering what to throw out to use your hero power, or what two cards to throw out to be able to use Free Admission.

If anything, Cascading Disaster is the strongest card Warlock got this expansion, not Tickitus.

Once all of the dust settles, it will probably stabilize as a mediocre deck.

But I hope they don't change it, because even if the deck isn't top tier, it is still fun to play.

I disagree. In a meta where there are a lot of big minions it can and will likely be a very good card. Especially in classes that can hero power a token to give to your opponent. 

And in what way do you have to build a deck around him? 

Kripp made a fool of himself in the last official final reveal stream when he read a card out loud because he thought it was from the new expansion. The whole chat was laughing at him cause it was just a normal card from the old expansion. Even casual Rank 20 Players knew that.

How are you going to hire someone who doesnt even know the cards in the game ? ^^

It was a really weird facepalm moment in the stream for Blizzard

This was easily one of the best brawls in a long time. No over the top obnoxious RNG. Just a normal format with limited expansions.

Really cool to play in, actually played this more after getting my pack.

 Yeah sure, I didn't feel like building a whole deck, so I just used the second deck recipe and swapped the big weapons for something else because I didn't have them and I didn't feel like they're super powerful.  It seems your deck has no chance vs the OTK variant of DH, double immolation etc. kills your stuff easily and then your hand is empty. Without drawing Skull of Gul'Dan you just lose or am i missing something? Also the life steal weapon plus all the buffs, especially the +8 as his last resort heal him up too high, cant reach it. :/ Guess it's just suboptimal if the OTK DH draws well?

When everyone's is playing DH because it's the newest, shiny thing, of course it's gonna have a higher winrate.

Playing 3 or 4 games that you lost because you dont know their cards yet doesn't make them OP. There's a learning curve. They're definitely strong, but it's way too early to say whether they are OP or not.

 The issue isn't that they have more heals than Priest, or bigger combos than aggro decks in previous metas. It's that they currently have the most powerful card draw in the game, they bypass taunts, they have great healing in their aggro decks, they have fantastic board removal, and they have insanely strong midrange cards.

With literally EVERY OTHER CLASS, they trade off their healing and card draw for damage, or they trade off their burst for sustain. Demon Hunters have ALL OF IT. They're currently the only class in the game who can draw out their entire deck by turn 8, while also controlling the board.

And FYI, all of those 20+ damage combos were nerfed. Force of Nature was reworked, Leeroy was put into hall of fame, Shamans haven't had ANYTHING to pair with Bloodlust for a long time. No idea why you're bringing them up as if they're Blizzard's greatest achievements in balance.

The class will 100% be nerfed in the next two weeks. Every other class went through a LOT of balance iterations in the beta, and Demon Hunter should go through the same iterations. For example, who at Blizzard decided to print the set with SIX different card draws? 3 of them are 1/2 cost cycle cards (effectively making Demon Hunter decks 24 cards in size), while THREE of them are 2+ multidraw cards.

 Leeroy wasn't HoFed for six years. And Lust is literally the game winner that you pull off Zephrys 50% of the time. In any case you're missing the point, which ia that DH burst is not any worse than any other burst we've had before.

Demon Hunter's weakness is that they have to use face for everything. It's like Rogue, except they don't keep the weapon and they have a lot more "give your hero attack" shit. To beat them, all you have to do is exploit that. 

They don't have great healing, they have okay healing at best. 

So they have solid burst. They have solid heals. And they have solid control. But they don't have exceptional anything except card draw, which means the strategy is to outvalue them. 

When the big boi is gonna do his mega Avenging Wrath, I drop about 8 health worth of minions to soak then Fireball him before he gets an attack off. With the shivarra (which is just a slightly powercreeped Blazecaller that's random), save Polymorph for it. When they're ready to chunk me for 15, throw down a Khartut or Bone Wraith or other big taunt, or just Frostbolt to face.

It really isn't that hard. And my point is proven by the fact that every Demon Hunter deck has had its winrate drop by 4-5 points overnight, and no doubt will stabilize around having the best deck 55-58ish by the end of the week.

 Bullshit. I know of two examples of Tier S decks in Wild, those being the Galakrond Shaman and the Snip-Snap Warlock in Wild.  Going further back, I'd also add Patron Warrior before the Warsong Commander nerf. That deck was very difficult to pilot so it wasn't as oppressive in terms of how many people were playing it, but it had basically no counter and sat at the top of every tier lists for around 10 months I believe? Combo deck with insane amount of draw and most importantly survivability and removal, could often draw the entire deck by turn 8-10 while still being very high in health/armor. And this wasn't even a wild-only issue lol

If yu have ever played any other online game, you should probably know by now how things work when the devs add smth new. For example in League of Legends every time they add a new champion, it's op and insta-ban every game, but it gets nerfed in the next patch so much that it barely sees play. It was literally the same with Galakrond Shaman last year. Right now we can probably expect a "death patch" for DH incoming.

Bottomline: China tell us what to do, so we dont lose our biggest market share. China has more gamers than US population.
