Edit: It's not that I didn't like it, it's just that after the massive Dalaran Heist, they really didn't have to put more time into another adventure so quickly.

- You dont have to build a deck around this, eventually You will complete the quest. Only deck that might have a problem is aggro/zoo priest which is not a thing.
- You dont lose your base hero power and its synergies, you get a strictly better one
- You get rewarded for doing what most priest decks do any way
- Only drawbacks are losing tempo turn 1, one card less in opener and having a 29 card deck, most priest decks dont care about any of those things
The quest part of this card is so easy the reward almost doesn't matter, and still they make it strong. Every control/midrange/combo priest will play this, because there is no reason not to!

I believe it shouldn't. the text of this card is pretty similar to the text of Yogg-Saron, Hope's End, which doesn't count spells that you didn't play yourself (for example, Tortollan Primalist's battlecry effect). still, I can imagine this card being pretty good even if you're running cards like Blessing of Kings or Spikeridged Steed.

Beneath the Grounds has the same exact text (except that the ambushes are put in your deck with this card), so these ambushes should draw you a card as well. plus not drawing a card would be stupid

this doesn't even have to nececessarily fit taunt druid that well, since this thing's deathrattle can recruit your Strongshell Scavenger (which I guess is played in such decks) and you certainly don't want that to happen (it's still pretty stupid to have both of these cards in one deck even if you'll have multiple 3 or 4 cost taunts or whatever). though it could work without the scavenger, since there are probably going to be some other cards to synergise with this (Branching Paths could kind of replace the scavenger anyway)
Still, playing a low stat 8 drop with an effect that could get either silenced, transformed or utilized by your opponent (mostly priests) seems too risky for me, especially since even classes that don't have class cards with silence run cards like Spellbreaker, which can also be pretty strong against Hadronox

what happens if you use this on a board with 5 Cruel Dinomancers (with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 health?)
is the effect going to be like with Grim Patron (if the patrons really die only after defile stops), or like pre-nerf Dreadsteed, so it'll just kill the dinomancers infinitely?

first try with Kabal Talonpriest, Power Word: Tentacles, Greater Healing Potion and Priest of the Feast as replacements, though I only used the talonpriest in that game

if the text was: "discard the top card from your opponent's deck", this could actually fit really well into discard warlock, since you could trigger cards that require you to discard without even discarding your own cards, but I guess it'll be then way too powerful, even if it helps discard warlock.

pffft, even with all that it'll just be really mediocre, barely usable in arena. add lifesteal and "cannot be targeted by spells or hero powers" and it might be somewhat usable

not even that. keep in mind that it also gives taunt, so it's an even stronger version of blessing of kings (or the buff from Houndmaster, if you will)
