Yes, it's too bad. There is a maintenance but not for the patch. Still it's somewhat of a surprise that there will be "new tools" for the priest, perhaps the warrior too if they said that. I didn't think they would make new cards if that's what it is, as each class has a certain amount of class specific cards. I'm pretty much holding off on any more deck theories until these patch notes I think.

Posting this here so people can see it if they aren't aware, allusions and minor details to what the patch will bring from the battle.net pages.

They'll probably take the servers down Tuesday and while they're down, the patch notes will be available to read on what's changed. For the priest they might increase Holy Smite's damage and cost so that it's maybe 2-3 mana, 3-4 damage so it isn't as early game redundant as Shadow Word: Pain. It's still a decent finisher either way at times. Thoughtsteal could copy one card from your opponent's deck, and draw one from your own. I don't expect any new cards, probably not for until after official launch, and I would also think it would be this Tuesday otherwise it's a bit awkward.

Raging Worgen + Power Overwhelming might be strong and cost effective, you could play it early with a coin or possibly have it ignored due to opponents not wanting to activate the enrage mechanic. Strike once against desired minion/taunt, strike again with enrage activation for an additional 7 + 1 damage against player or other desired target.

I saw a deck similar to this but only the first few turns as it had ended that fast. It had run Flame Imp, Blood Imp, and Young Priestess to become dangerous and hard to clear pretty fast. You would be able to play them in the same turns but you already play all the token cards for later turn same number of minions so you could try it and see if it runs any better versus your current setup. Maybe remove the Void Walkers for them instead of later turn Razorfen Hunter so they stay in the same cost slot. I like the low rarity effectiveness either way.

The paladin does buff his minions but has more singular focus versus the mob mentality of Bloodlust. You have the various blessings and more than one way to grant Divine Shield. If you wanted to, you could probably build a deck that approaches buffing one of many threats which the opponent must respond to or defend against. The Dragonhawk for example is a pretty nice to grant Blessing of Might so that by turn two it can potentially swing for 8 damage if not stopped.

It really is as bad as less than a second after the post huh? Not to mention it's compounded by the ~1000 or more bots all vying for 100 keys. I'm glad I didn't even try in hindsight but I do commend you guys for trying, you deserve it in comparison to the bots but unfortunately it had to be handled this way.

The captcha suggestion is a good idea since if bots are possible, bots are happening. My biggest regret besides missing out on the Facebook action altogether is that it seems that Blizzard will be content with these Facebook giveaways for the weekend and we won't see another Battle.net account opt-in wave for another week or whenever next.

I like the Arena for Blizzard's approach to the free to play aspect of the game as well as a good source of practice through improvised play in endless permutations of situations but I would still do Standard mode because that's where deck constructing and ranked play comes in. That's where you test your skill with a certain class specific deck and use the cards you chose for strategy and synergy. I'm looking forward to both really.

It's not much of a better way to dispense keys though, and FB is among the things I won't do for one so I at least feel some measure of consolation in that. Congrats to those who are actually managing to get keys from this, at least you are and can play.

Yeah I have to say that resonates to me as in being a pretty poor way to hand out beta access, I'm completely fine with the Facebook giveaways that I don't even enter but this almost hurts my own enthusiasm for the game. It's clear they'll still be taking the staggered approach if they're doing things like this though.

I think it makes more sense to keep him as he is, he's self destructive towards the end which reflects in discarding your whole hand and being 12/12 represents him being the strongest card in the game by raw base power. Until they add some other potentially more powerful figures.

Too bad about the issues but you guys did what you could to sync it all up, I appreciate the effort to pick it up and I enjoyed watching different decks and players from many corners of the gaming industry face off. Will watch again next time.
