posted a message on Heroic Malchezaar Anyfin

I was surprised but, yes, this does actually work! As long as you're patient and last until the win condition nothing should stop you. The 10 mana creature you get from playing Anyfin and Atiesh will also be a huge benefit.

posted a message on Experience with Blizzard Support after 7/8 packs containing the same rare.

I feel sorry for the support guy that had to endure your rambling over 7 packs. It actually gives me a very good impression of Blizzard support, considering he stayed so polite through your nonsense.

Obviously the tgt packs if you want tgt cards. Arena now gives random packs so there's no guarantee you'd get tgt packs from playing it.

posted a message on Which legendary to craft next

I'm surprised you crafted Foe-Reaper. It's not the worst card in the game but it's pretty hard to use since it's so slow. Boom and Slyvanis are absolutely essential. If you're playing Paladin then Tirion's useful.

posted a message on What is wrong with Kripp ?

I never get to watch kripp anymore, since he basically streams on a different schedule now. Agree with others about Nox, never gets the love he deserves. His Youtube channel is also one of the most entertaining, since he doesn't just upload dull arena runs; he actually makes an effort to discuss the game in an interesting way.

I like Amaz too; despite the shit he gets for being "fake" , he's actually quite a talented player, and quite articulate about the game when he chooses to be. I just wish he would ignore the 12 year olds in his chat who spam arena or riot. It's much more interesting when he plays constructed.

posted a message on question for face hunters

This thread comes across as a very passive aggressive whine. I would imagine there are very few dedicated face-hunter players as this thread suggests; most people play the deck when they think it suits the meta. At higher ranks, and against certain kinds of decks its very easily countered.

posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!

That's the thing with priests; they rely on silly combos and RNG in order to make any effective plays. If they work, then priests can be the most overpowered class in the game. When it doesn't work, priests are absolute crap. When I play priest I never get any decent luck or combos, but when I play against priest they will inevitably have shrinkmeister + Cabal combo for all my 4 attack creatures, and a mind control to finish off the game by stealing my biggest card.

posted a message on New Card - Justicar Trueheart

A lot of people seem to be missing the point of the card by comparing it to older cards with very different effects and the old meta, in which hero powers don't really do much.

I hear a lot of comparisons to shadow form, but shadow form changed your hero power; it didn't boost your hero power. Dealing 2 damage isn't really a big deal for priests since you're very unlikely to win by bursting your opponent down, and sometimes it's better to heal (which is why Auchenai Soulpriest is usually preferred; you can deal 2 damage when it's convenient and then kill off your Soulpriest when you need the heal again). Justicar boosts the hero power for every class, which is rarely a negative for any class. Perhaps if you're playing Handlock you may want the damage to play Moltens, but that's the only example I can think of.

Also, unlike Shadowform it puts a body on the field, which, because of its 6 attack, is very likely to gain at least a 1 for 1 trade.

Comparisons to Troggzor are also inaccurate, since removing Troggzor removed the effect; Justicar's effect is a battlecry, so you'll gain a boost for the rest of the match. It's much closer to Emperor Tarzan, a card you plop down and gain benefits from for the rest of the game, even if the body itself doesn't do much.

I think in combination with cards like garrison commander, it has the potential to be extremely powerful. Imagine being a druid and getting a free bite every turn? Or playing as Warlock and getting a 2 free cards with no drawback? Yeah, I feel pretty confident this card will get a fair amount of use.

posted a message on New card - Sky Cap'n Kragg

I don't understand the issue with the lore. Hearthstone is set in the Warcraft universe, but it's not a 'best-of' for any of the Warcraft games. It's a little bit wackier than the usual Warcraft universe, so they've created a card that reflects that.

posted a message on New Card - Kodo Rider

It's a great card to top-deck, and it's potentially broken depending on what other 'inspire' combo-cards are released. I can see this being the new Grim Patron in the right circumstances.

posted a message on New Card - Nexus-Champion Saraad

I can see this being played by warriors as a faster alternative to Ysera and Nefarrion. The spells might not synergise with other cards in your deck but it keeps your hand full and gives you something else to play.

posted a message on New Card - Lowly Squire

Depends on the new meta, but my suspicion is that this card won't see any play.  Using your hero power turn 2 is too weak, even with the buff, and late game it's way too easy to remove. It's like a worse Light Warden (which gives you +2 attack), and nobody would play that if it wasn't for Light of the Naaru.

posted a message on Most unbalanced card?

Dr. Boom is the obvious one, however mad scientist also deserves a mention. A two drop that gives you a free 3 drop as a death-rattle without losing any cards from your hand is pretty silly. It's also broken because the secret cost is different for every class, so mages and hunters benefit far more than paladins do.

posted a message on Roping against Hunters

I'm usually happy to play against face-hunters; their decks are very predictable and easy to counter. Often, throwing down a zombie chow turn 1 is enough for them to completely lose tempo for the rest of the game. Throwing down a sludge belcher very often results in an instant concede. Really, if you keep losing to face hunters you're probably playing the wrong cards or the wrong class. If they make you that angry try playing warrior; if you play well enough you'll probably have a 90% win rate against them.

Lots of people rope against me in frustration, although oddly enough, they're usually playing aggressive decks and I'm usually playing a mid-range control-type deck. To be honest, I usually  assume that they're just throwing a childish tantrum because their shitty brainless aggro deck failed to get them the cheap win they think they deserve for some reason. I'm usually not in a hurry, so I just drag things out by making a few mistakes and only finishing them off at the last possible second before the timer runs out.

Roping won't stop face-hunters; they will probably just assume that you can't click the end-turn button because you've hurled your mouse across the room, and you're huddled on the floor crying.
