     Next: A minion like Shifter Zerus that isn't bad.

     Keeping with the rouge theme of "stealing other class cards" but turned up to eleven:

    Next: a underpowered piece of dumpster trash.

    Guidelines: make a card that either scales up or scales down the effect of an existing card. This scaling up can either be with stats, effects, cost or some combination thereof.

    Example: Injured Kvaldir -> Injured Blademaster -> My card:

    How many pages of that do you want to see before it gets boring? There's only so many Goldshire Generals and Baby Alexstraszas you can make...
     I see your point, just been seeing this trend in cards lately and I think there's some room to be clever in the scaling of a card.

    As a card by itself this is a desperate taunt minion with a devastating downside if taken advantage of. wouldn't want to see this as im trying to finish off my opponent in the later turns. As a niche card I could see this being played in a Divine Spirit Inner Fire kind of combo priest.

    Very last minute on the submission, Ancient of War is the nearest stat analog but we have no 6/10's in the game. trying to push a more control oriented rouge with big taunt dude, adding a deathrattle that could either be positive or negative depending on board state to play with the stealth mechanic more was a big desire, not too much happening with stealth now-n-days.

    I really liked how Gothik's boss cards worked, used that design as the basis for this card.

    EDIT: deleted silly wording mistake.

    here's my card for the competition, is there a more precise way to word the card's text than what I have here? Im debating if I should have "even costed" rather than "even" but I like keeping it down to 3 or less lines for neatness.

    This effect can be manipulated if you don't have any odd cards in hand to simply draw a card. Likewise if you have no even cards left in your deck you will only discard. In the event that you neither have even cards in deck nor odd in hand nothing happens. I justify drawing evens over odds purely thematically as Fireguard Destroyer and Fire Elemental are even costing cards.

    EDIT: changed card text based on feedback.

    Going to go ahead and do my part by reviewing my page briefly.  Please know that the reviews are entirely my impressions of the cards and I welcome the creators and viewers to tear this post apart, here’s page 11:

    @Namineth (Zombie Transmorpher)

    I love the utility of this card although the randomness is a bit of a turn off to me. The art is also not representative of what it does.  Engineering seems like a very good way to legitimize these neutral spells

    4/5

    @fonzrobben90 (Snatch)

    After a bit of analysis I can see how you priced out the card but I still think the downside is still way too step to justify the effect. I think there is a general stigma against straight out discarding cards from the opponent and besides the card is called “snatch” think some kind of copy mechanic or steal mechanic might be more balanced. In terms of art, it just seems uninspired.

    1/5

    @Eqsilon (Lost Sanctuary)

    First off, I love the intention of the card, easy way for newer players to play with high randomness legendary awesomeness and what not. In terms of the pricing its kinda unbalanced. Card draw is typically .5 to .75 mana and most legendaries you’re going to pull are going to be powerful. Feel like you could make the card two mana and add a minor effect or something of the like. In terms of art I adore it, very cool.

    3/5

    @The_Clueless_One (Friendly Assistance)

    I think this card is rad dude, the idea of having one of your cards pop up and ‘aid’ you is really neat and not an interaction that has been explored.  The card inspires a higher curve in deck building which is also very nice to see.  Im not exactly clear if it’s a random minon or a selected minon so maybe add the word random to the card so it reads better? In terms of art, very supportive of the card’s function and damn cool.

    5/5

    @M_Surge (Social Gathering)

    This card could be pretty bonkers if you have board control as most paladins now-n-days or a token druid or the like. I think this card is really strong thematically and would work well in decks that emphasize board control so never a bad thing. One big note here though, change the name please, it just seems rather dull and not very “Warcrafty” yeah? In terms of art I think you’re on the money man, good work.

    4/5

    @Desgasm (Purify)
    So here’s the thing, in terms of the name and in terms of art I feel like I’m looking at a priest card. The effect seems pretty niche and might inspire some unique decks but I feel like it would just never be used in constructed play. I do like the art, I do like the name, I even like the card, just don’t think it fits a neutral vibe.

    1/5

    @disguisedtoast (A legendary discard.)

    This card is also pretty bonkers but not exactly in a good way. I compare this to Astral Recall except you don’t get the extra mana and you potentially toss playable cards for unplayable ones. Think about it this way, there are no 1 or 0 mana legendries, do those cards just burn? And also many of the legendries in the lower mana brackets are just awful.  Although the highlight reels would be legendary, this card as it stands just isn’t. cool art though.

    1/5

    @Frostoise (The Frozen Throne)

    First off, good work finding rad art and second off yay for new hero interactions. So here comes the critique, I see how you’ve tried to balance the card as a whole by capping the health of Lich King at 15 but at 5 mana a 4/2 weapon with a upside and a new refreshed hero power seems a bit underpowered for the subject of the card. I’m definitely on the fence on this one. Very good work though man, I like what you’ve put together here even if I don’t think I can give it a good analysis.

    @Craftics (Scroll of Town Portal)

    Actually was thinking of this card but had a different (worse) idea how to put it together so kudos there man. Thematically its great, I love the idea of scrolls, potions, consumables as neutral spells so you’ve defiantly met the requirements for the competition there.  It’s a flexible card that harkens back to Warcraft 3 so damn good work man.

    5/5

    @truluste (Potion of Wisdom)

    It certainly priced correctly although I worry how cumbersome the interface would look like on this spell. This seems like one of those mechanics that work better in a non-online TCG but it definitely works for this competition, good work.

    4.5/5

    @Sahgos (King’s Favor)

    I don’t like this card because it removes a mechanic from the game, it simplifies jousts into battlecrys. Whilst the art, name and pricing seem good I just cant grade cards that dumb down mechanics very highly. Perhaps try to instead add some sort of benefit to jousts like how deathrattle works for the hunters, reroll the jousts and try to get benefit off of them again.

    0.5/5

    @teil12 (Call of Legend)

    Lots of legendary interaction on this page so far… this one is not the best of those. So basically this is a 7 mana legendary... whilst most legendries are in the higher mana bracket I have no idea why I would play this rather than any one of them instead and pay marginally very little more to play the ones I want.  I like the bonkers aspect, just seems underpowered as it stands.

    2/5

    @Maedhros5 (Stoneform)

    This seems to kind of skirt the lines in this competition as it seems only playable in warrior… and warrior with a paygate of 10USD. I cannot allow myself to rate the card as it would set a dangerous precedent in the game.

    NA

    @Elewinduu (Bananazooka)

    Whilst this is a neato card that fits into the competition it seems a bit too excessive for what it does when I could just attach a 5/5 to the card and achieve a very similar effect.  Also I don’t like the idea of a guaranteed mill if that makes sense, playing mill I think I ought to work towards milling cards off the top of my opponent’s deck, not just play  a single card and guarantee at least one burnt card.

    1/5

    @ScaryKoolaid (Treasure Hunt)

    I like this man, it does all the things this game needs, encourage a higher curve in deck building, encourage longer games, and adds a fun random aspect to the game that doesn’t break the game. In addition your art and pricing for the card seem very on point.

    5/5

    @theDeivore (Item: Rations)

    The pricing on this card is correct and I enjoy that this card fulfills the competition in theme. But you and I both know the art is dreadful and could easily be swapped out for something much better. Like you said this card is versatile in it’s synergies with classes with spell procs like mage and rouge so there’s more to the card than on its surface. Just change the art dude and you’d have a fairly rad card here.

    So basically think of this card as a neutral negative The Mistcaller for your opponent. the trigger occurs after 6 OR MORE damage is done to your hero on your opponent's turn.  I feel like the cost and the delayed effect makes this balanced although I see this just totally breaking aggressive decks with one health minions. In the case that a one health minion is played it would die upon entering the field.

    With all these suicide priest cards like Spawn of Shadows and Shadowbomber it might be effective to have some late game outlast mechanic to overwrite all the damage and make a more well rounded deck. In terms of lore for the card, WoD saw Prophet Velen sacrifice himself for his crew, thus having our boy's face plastered on this priest secret.

    My idea;
    A card for uncover opponent deck,
    for remove destroy-weapon or taunt,
    for activate combo effects
    and a funny card for mill.
    Feedback?

    Dude thats an insane mill rouge card, perhaps add some sort of combo to it, for instance combo the pickin of a card.

    Idea with Teron is I thought that players ought to have a reliable way to discard cards. The statline and inspire compensates for his awful affect in most situations. So there are three ways to use this guy, card draw after turn four, rushing for tempo with the huge body on 4, and discarding cards reliably.

    Sounds on Play: "I have a lot of catching up to do..."

    Attack: "It gets worse..."

    Inspire: "Laugh manically"

    Death: "The wheel turns..."
