posted a message on Nozdormu + Curse of Rafaam interaction bug

dont know why people are saying it doesnt work. it just happened to me, with 2 curses and by the time the animations were done and my new card was in my hand my turn was over. i needed only 1 attack on face for the win and was clicking like i maniac, i couldnt play anything

i dont really care it happened, was pretty funny even, but its cheating nonetheless and its broken as hell. it took him 3 turns to get me dead while he was at 2 hp. please fix

That may be the case, but I am actually hoping standard will become less aggro dominant what the meta concerns. if the meta slows down in standard dreadsteed can become less gimmicky, IF it has a nice card to make it viable again

I think it will be just the opposite. Standard will be the aggro format, and wild will be the control / combo format. Standard is going to have limited tools to fight aggro, and new players will find aggro cheap and easy to play. Where as wild will be what we have now. I don't remember the last time i saw a face hunter on ladder.

if you think the only aggro deck out there is face hunter then you are mistaking. zoo, face shaman and agro druid are very aggro and tempo mage and secret paladin both have the playstyle that if you are not more aggro than them, you find yourself constantly chasing their board looking for answers to their plays.

The current meta is very fast and the only really competitive control decks are freeze mage and renolock, which says a lot because both becomes less powerfull in slower metas. If you choose to play control or gimmicky combo decks than you are so reliant on your heal cards that it just becomes too difficult to get any winrate useful on ladder.

I think, no i hope, that blizz is actually recognizing this and will try to come with a new expansion that enables slower playstyles, since GvG is out this would be much easier

posted a message on Most competitive mill deck

From my experience i must disagree that mill rogue is better than druid. The thing is mill rogue is truly mill, and mill druid is more fatique. There is a huge difference since with druid you push for the mill at the end and with rogue as soon as you get the right combo cards.

the problem is the rogue combo is gimmicky and you need to wait for a while till you get the right pieces. For instance, its nice to have at least 1 Coldlight Oracle Shadowstep and Gang Up at at least 6 mana.earlier on you need a Preparation extra and its also nice of course whenever you have Preparation Vanish combo next to your Coldlight Oracle and Shadowstep. The thing is this just doesnt work out more than 30-40% because there are too many cards involved, if you mulligan to hard for them you cannot control the game and if you dont you are waiting for them a lot of the time. Whenever it works its great

But with mill/fatique druid its all about control and whenever you get Coldlight Oracle or Brann Bronzebeard in your opening hand you should definitely mulligan for something else. this means you can try to control the game till the end and you wiill always have your combo pieces when you need them. my winrate with fatique druid is just around 50% on ladder last season but since the games take a long time its not really worth it to climb. you should just play these decks for fun until the meta slows down

PLEASE MAKE A CARD IN THE NEXT EXPANSION TO SAVE Dreadsteed

It would be such a shame if it completely lost its possibility to shine. they always said it was designed for Naxxramas and its not hard to see why with all the synergy. that will all be lost in standard mode. yes it will still be in wild, and i will have fun there, but it is actually working on ladder and I would love for Dreadsteed to have another year in standard, and not for it to become an instant 'wild' relic.

Just a suggestion: A 5 or 6 mana spell: destroy a demon, summon 2 random demons that died this game

Its cool because if you're a Dreadsteed player, you have to be careful what other demons to put in your deck. you can play Dreadsteed on turn 4, use it in a suicide attack on turn 5 and then use the spell so it has died twice, and then the card's effect will reach is potential.

it also gives other warlocks (or Thoughtsteal priests) another way to copy your dreadsteeds and if you face another warlock you risk of summoning 2 Imp 's or 2 Doomguard 's with charge (to mention the extremes).

I am no card designer, so who of you out there is??? Please post some good suggestions here!!!

This card is so much fun to play, I hope there is a way to keep it viable in standard mode
