Based on what we currently see, aggro shaman should be very strong. My main doubt is regarding a possible handlock return. Mountain Giants + Twilight Drakes + Taunt givers will make a much more robust wall than before.
I feel that they could have buffed it a little in some other way, since this hits it a little too hard. Azure Drake is +1 mana for a single draw on an Ogre Magi. This is almost always +2 mana for a single draw on a vanilla 5/5, quite horrible. It would have been fine as a 6/5, 5/6 or 6/6, as a 6 mana minion, or with a better heal.
I completely agree. Drop it to 6 mana 5/5 and reduce the heal to 4 along with the 1-card draw option and it might still see play. Or something.
Another combo piece to the Auchenai/Circle/Flash Heal control shell. I doubt it does enough to deserve a valuable deck slot.
This is basically unplayable before turn 4+ since you need to get decent value from a 2-card board clear combo that doesn't leave anything behind. Playing this just to combo a single flash heal seems weak. So we're looking at either an OTK setup or a mid game tempo swing turn with Embrace the Shadow + Circle of Healing + a minion or two. Timing this to get the deathrattle off a corrupted healbot is alright, I guess, but won't win many games since your opponent will generally have the initiative to kill the healbot. Control priest will be very difficult without Zombie Chow and Lightbomb so I'm not very optimistic this will work based on what we've seen so far. OTK priest already can do a ton of damage if you can survive/draw to a point where Emperor can hit a hand full of spells + Prophet Velen. Getting to that state in the game is the challenge. This might help by giving more combo pieces ... maybe.
I find this funny since Priests really could use a second heal -> damage activator. Just not like this.
Without knowing what cards are available or what nerfs are coming, too little is known. I'm not a fan of this endless "lame duck" period. Blizzard PR messed this one up.
The card art shows a bunch of horrified murlocs, but recent boards full of murlocs have a lot more than 2 attack...
A very situation card. It doesn't cycle (unlike Mass Dispel). A dead draw in most situations. The current meta has many 3+ attack minions in zoo style decks. Many of the primary targets of this card are leaving standard. Compare this, unfavourably, to Hellfire or Shadowflame. Needs synergy.
There had better be some buffed board clears this expansion, no? Otherwise this could be a painful meta: rush decks + control decks with total inevitability. Similar to aggro shaman and murloc pally. I guess the new deathrattle minions are supposed to be weak on-curve plays, similar to murlocs?
"Boring to play against" depends on what I'm playing. Anything that takes a long time where I am nearly certain to win or lose qualifies. Also match-ups that come down to drawing some key card(s) first are silly (many mirror matches such at Patron, Freeze, Monkey Priest, etc).
This is a curve filler that is usually a tempo loss compared to a card played on curve. The random summon likely wont mesh with my deck. Unless there is some missing synergy I don't think this will see any play. I'd rather play a Convert. Really.
For most control games Priests are missing late game survivability, not value tools.
Still, I think this a much better design than other random summons since the result is mana constrained.

Wow. Losing Oil already reduced this card's power. RIP another high skill deck, I guess.

With all the established WoW lore I would think a few more unique characters could be used for card art. Meh.
Interesting effect though.

A supersized Earthen Ring Farseer would help make this playable.

Dreadful design, I think. Hopefully it stinks.

What crazy value, and not really weak to AoE since it is only one card. Too strong perhaps.
Maybe not perfect for face hunter, but this is a wicked follow up after a Savannah Highmane or two.

If DH stays I do't think this will see play. Another reason it would be nice to know the card changes.
Comparison is most interesting with Arcanite Reaper which in rarely run currently. That may change too.

Strange design here.

Not of fan of this design. Silly and too random.
