As someone who bought a 60 pack bundle and also the preorder, I feel like with this expansion, I definitely don't have all the cards I would like, I got 5 legendaries from all my packs, one was a double, and 3 were quests. But there are 22 legendaries, so the amount of money you would have to put into this game would be ludicrous if you wanted all the cards, I feel like most likely you will need to start budgeting yourself to play with one or two decks, but it is really frustrating and I agree like a welcome bundle specific to an expansion would be realy cool, and I honestly feel like it might even help sales because it would definitely tempt people who are f2p to spend that little extra money and get some good value, and you know people like me would buy it.
Nice breakdown. Really interesting numbers, never seen more in depth pack opening stats.
Personally, I just opened the 58 packs (50 pre ordered + 8 gifted from blizz) and got 6 legendaries! I was never this lucky, I was expecting 1-3 legendaries total.
Alright, So I made a conscious decision to invest a little more into this expansion than normal and so I bought the pre-order and a 60 pack bundle and i had 28 more packs from gold and rewards. So that puts me at 138 packs. So i figured I would break it down, and make it kind of interesting to see how my openings are compared to other people's.
Number of rares pulled is 164. Which puts me at a rare pull rate of 1.18 rares per 1 pack.
Number of Golden rares : 9. This puts me at a golden rare pull rate of 1 every 15.33 packs.
Some statistics about golden commons!
10 golden commons pulled or 1 every 13.8 packs.
Missing a golden common from 3 classes, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior.
Total pull rate for Golden cards is 1 every 6.57 packs I was pulling a golden card on average.
Overall I thought it was a pretty cool breakdown and I definitely did well with epics, but I was noticing a lot of people pulling The Caverns below and Lakkari Sacrifice and I am kind of curious if it is a similar situation to drop rates being skewed like they were when MSoG kept having the multi-class cards drop at a higher rate. But please if you have any cool statistics about your pack openings let me know I would love to see.
I had to decide that I was not going to invest that much money on this game, and so I started to DE my golden cards, even legendaries that I have acquired :( But it is awesome that you have been able to get so many. I am curious to see how you fare when there are three expansions a year! Also, my bigger hobby is LEGO, so I feel you on the monies spent.... lol

It depends, if you are going for Druid quest, it isn't the best. But in other decks it is better
