    I've never even come close to beating this guy. It's infuriating and no strategy I try seems to matter.  Been saving up gold for a month and a half to finally afford an adventure but I think I chose the wrong one. I've been looking forward to putting Nefarian (I know he's not the best but I still haven't opended a single legendary and I just want one) in my deck for so long, but if I can't even beat the first wing then I've got pretty much no chance of finishing it. Why do you guys design these things to be so hard?  Thaurissan's hero power is ridiculous.  The most frustrating thing is how online guides never devote more than a few sentences to him like it's no big deal. Am I that dumb?  Even the guide on this site just says "don't kill Moira." Yeah, NO DOY. Mind telling me HOW to do that when she constantly suicides herself into my minions? Any strategy tips would be much appreciated, or at least tell me if the other adventures are easier. I still have enough gold for three wings but if all the adventures are this stupid then I won't even bother.

    Lost against a mage who got Nefarian and Gahz'rilla from their two unstable portals. I decided to try a similar deck to complete a daily quest. What did I get from my portals? Target dummy and pit snake. My win percentage for this brawl is lower than any other previous ones. I managed to get three wins and finish the quest, so I won't be touching this one again.

    posted a message on Inconsistency in wording: Giant Sand Worm & The Boogeymonster

    If one of your minions runs into your Boogeymonster and dies due to Misdirection, Boogeymonster's effect doesn't trigger. Giant Sand Worm does trigger, however, and gets its attack refreshed. Very minor difference, of course. Changing Sand Worm's effect would only increase the amount of text on the card, and Blizzard wants their text to be as brief as possible to maximize readability.

    Once a spell starts, I think the most intuitive process is for the spell to resolve entirely before any other effects happen. The way they want it to work makes it seem like the spell is two separate events. IIRC, casting Blizzard on something like Imp Gang Boss will summon an undamaged frozen imp. Why is it frozen if it didn't get hit by the blizzard? Blizzard should act more like Poison Seeds, not the other way around.

    Turns out that Sacrificial Pact and Light's Champion are pretty good when all minions are demons. If you have two of these and two Sense Demons then you have a decent chance of drawing them in the early game.  If you don't, though, you're stuck with a bad deck until you do. I feel like the "no demons" requirement isn't very exciting, but I couldn't think of anything better. Ideally, I'd want something that encourages creativity on the same level as Reno Jackson. Thoughts?

    The artwork has a very low resolution.  Not saying it's fake, but the site that originally posted it must have been given a crappy picture. Can anyone confirm the reliability of that site? I'm not trusting it until we get a better image.

    Edit: It looks like the original image was very small, and someone upscaled it and replaced the border and text areas with a larger image before it was posted here. You can tell because the horn on the dragon at the top is doubled. This English version isn't official, so the translation might be incorrect.

    Nowhere in the article does it say they're teaching the AI to play Hearthstone. Rather, they're using the cards to test its ability to translate normal English into working code, which they can easily check by looking at how the cards actually work in the game.

    A minion with shining will adjust its stats so that the total attack and health on both sides of the board is equal. So, if your opponent has 7 3/3's and you have one minion with shining, it will become a 21/21. The worse off you are, the stronger the effect is. A shining minion's stats will continue to change to keep the board balanced. Its stats will not decrease below its base stats.  There's probably something insanely broken about this effect that I haven't noticed.

    A common theme between all current secrets is that they give your opponent some control over if and when they trigger, which makes up for effects that would otherwise be overpowered for the costs. Not that all secrets have to be like that of course, but I feel like yours doesn't really fit with the spirit of secret cards. I think the effect is balanced though, and the synergy with quickshot is cool, since none of the other "if your hand is empty" cards work well together.

    I totally didn't notice that I had just made a slightly better salty dog.  My bad.  I like the idea of a 7/7 for 7 mana, it's just enough health to survive a fireball.  Maybe it could even be an 8/7 to introduce new stats to the game.  I like cards that are right on the edge of being good enough to include in a deck, so I don't want it to be strong enough to make every C'Thun deck.
