Quote from Sarzyenski >>Blizzard why don't you just reword the text of dark peddler to "Add Power Overwhelming to hand" These pieces of shit playing their bullshit zoo with 4 power overwhelmings is enough for me to stop for awhile I wanted standard to make bullshit like this a little less frequent but its still happening frequently and I've had hit my fill for the day by 8am.

Just imagine the feeling of having 12 health left and your opponent getting 3 Huffers from this card. Could life get any better after that moment?

Horkinger posted a message on No more sorry?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from AlchemistApprentice >>I used Sorry in a way "Sorry, I forgot to click the End Turn button." or "We're playing, huh? Well, sorry for not noticing yet." i.e. mainly on some of the first turns if I had the turn too long unnecessarily (I didn't notice something).
Rarely, I used Sorry in case of RNG screwing my opponent hard (that memetic Doomsayer from Piloted Shredder) but that was much less common.Anyway, I'll miss Sorry exactly for the first reason - I didn't/couldn't play and we both just sat there.
That's how I used it as well. Most of the time. Sometimes I got a doomsayer out of my Shredder and all my board was going to be wiped. I was sorry about that, too Generally, I was most sorry for myself if something bad happened to me. -

aleathas posted a message on Fixing the broken cancer meta: quitting HS Play Mode.Posted in: General DiscussionHey guys. First, let me mention that this is not a whining post. If you think that this meta is not broken, then you have no idea how the HS mechanic supposed to work - at least properly. I have been playing priest for two years - since beta and although I was always aware that the class was bad, I still could enjoy the game and in fact recently posted a shadow priest deck that got over 100+ likes.
The solution is simple stop playing hearthstone. Not only that the game is broken as hell thanks to jade idol cancer, which also proves how unprofessional the Blizzard game developers are, but also the game has become more like a pay to win, as you have to buy hundreds of packs to get the necessary cards to try new mechanics, a.k.a. Capitalism.
Don't even bother replying how to counter jade idol by playing aggro since this logic only helps awful game designers and certainly doesn't help Hearthstone community.
Anyway I am off until these two issues are fixed and PROTESTing Blizzard for it.
Enjoy(!) your ranked games against endless jade idols and 5 turn pirate warriors.
Edit: I had 4866 wins for Play mode and 3162 wins for Arena. Just added the photo to indicate that I am experienced enough in Hearthstone to complain about the direction that it goes.

At this point the only fun part about this game is opening packs, and even that is a pretty crappy experience what feels like 90% of the time.

I'm in NA and it's not even available yet.

At one point I agreed with Tze that if you do not condemn certain behavior, then you condone it. That is a pretty heavy handed way to live your life and it sucks the fun out of your day and pretty much any conversation you find yourself in. You'll be hearing "I bet you're really fun at parties" pretty frequently.
I find myself more in agreement with Pmanda these days as I have been in various circles online and have come to recognize there are plenty of people out there who are willing to say the most terrible things they can think of just for a laugh. It isn't always because they're sexist, racist, or whatever, but it's as Pmanda stated, they are doing it because they know someone is going to freak out over it. Not only will they get that immediate enjoyment out of it, there's also the possibility that some entity like Buzzfeed may pick it up and make an article about it, giving that person an even greater laugh as people come out of every corner of the internet to defend or admonish their behavior.
I'm not saying that it's pointless to speak out against something you see or hear and disagree with, or that we should just accept the internet or our gaming communities as they are, I'm only suggesting that crusading against every little thing isn't doing any cause justice. My personal stance on the matter and my friendly advice? Be the change you want to see in your communities by not engaging in the behavior you disagree with, and take to the proper channels (mods, reports, etc) to oppose it, but do not ever take the bait or feed the trolls.

Where is the "I wouldn't care as long as I won" option?

This shouldn't come as a surprise, but Evolve Shaman is trash. You're sitting here, just trying to pull off an Evolve play that's even partially worthwhile and when you finally hit it and you're looking at your board of garbage, you think: "You know, if this card was Bloodlust instead of Evolve, I'd have just won."

I don't think OP is suggesting anyone ripped them off, just that there are some similarities in their custom content to actual released cards. Why is everyone so upset about them pointing this out? It's not like OP is on here ranting and demanding Blizzard pay them for their contributions. I find it unlikely that the devs at Blizzard spent a whole lot of time looking over fan-made creations and it's likely none of them have ever seen these custom cards, but it's also possible they did. Either way, there's no reason to come on here and flame the person. I thought the idea of making custom content was to make it so balanced that it could actually see play, in which case it looks like OP did a decent job.

It isn't a player's responsibility to ensure the playing field is level by omitting certain cards/decks from their strategy. It's on the card developers to provide a balanced product. If there is a really cheap or powerful character/deck in a game, you can't fault people for choosing it. Now, if your friends are queuing up with you for casual, friendly matches and playing Midrange Shaman against you, you would be well within your rights to say "Hey dude, not cool" but you can't really expect the same treatment from strangers whose primary objective is to win.
