really..if you want to not pay a dime, just grind gold at low ranks and do your dailies until you have enough to play arena because thats the only thing you'll have real fun with.
otherwise, enjoy yourself and spend some money on a great game. This is a card game..you think new players at MTG have great decks? just imagine how much money it would cost you to have all of the cards currently in standard in MTG and compare it to how much it would cost to buy all the cards available in hearthstone. the difference is several thousand dollars
how is dragonpriest not an option? Most common deck i face by far on ladder now. Thing is annoying as hell, pretty cheap to make, and very strong. clearly going to stick around
deck feels really terrible in competitive play. extremely inconsistent. Lock and load is the most fun card they made though so i hope people keep trying.
i just drank a very large cup of coffee and put music on and decided to play an arena game. went into the game, at mulligan i wanted to turn the master volume down to listen to music.
instead of hitting the options button i hit concede by accident. lmao this deck will still go 12-0 though hahahaha
i agree with above. they're looking at the long term picture..I know myself and many others would like to continue playing this game and having it evolve for a long time like magic did. do you know how rare the first month ranked launch card back is going to be in 10 years?
think of unleash the hounds as a hearthstone version of these cards :)
give hearthstone 20 years like MTG and the game will be much more balanced much more varied and much more awesome. dont worry. also do you think hearthstone will be here in 20 years like MTG? thats actually an interesting thread topic
this card punishes you for..playing the game. there is no way to play around it unless you want to just not play any creatures. waiting for your opponent to tracking into uth/buzzard/hyena to wipe your board, draw a 10 card hand and have a 8/4 isnt fun. honestly just remove the card or make it spawn 2 1/1's every time.
Funny I thought playing the game included changing up your strategy depending on your opponent. Missed the memo that this was a solitaire clone.
theres a difference between adapting your strategy depending on class/deck and knowing that regardless of how dominant your board position is, if you continue to play out your cards, he will throw down buzzard/hyena/uth/hunters mark and your board will be swiped while he'll be left with a buffed hyena.
look at it this way: flamestrike - 7 mana, clears your board.
buzzard/hyena/uth/timberwolf/hunters mark - 7 mana, you lose the game.

right so make steamweadle sniper literally the most useless card in the entire game. good idea

yeah. im like 1-5 against priest so far, but i think ive won every other game besides against freeze mage. aggro pally works.

this deck basically cannot beat priest. if you're up against a priest you pretty much have to go face the whole time and try to get lucky
-7
this deck is terrible

i figured out the best nerf for starving buzzard.
make it so the draw effect can only trigger up to 2 times per turn. i think it would be fair with that

tried it, immediately lost 3 in a row 2 shamans and a rush mage. didn't draw a single wild pyro though

well this is probably the worst in the thread

its 100 times cheaper than MTG online which is also an amazing card game and yet people pay for that so...whats the problem

show the most ridiculously good/bad/funny packs you've gotten so far. im sure this thread has been made before.
i did only get these two legends in this run of pack openings but still. in the same pack? i wonder what the odds of that happening are lol
