Do you still enjoy standard after Descend of Dragons or do you just play (and watch) battlegrounds like I do? Though I do not know how many actually play standard at the moment, if we look at twitch.com I usually find that people are watching mostly battleground-streams (e.g. most viewed on stream this moment is Dog with 8.1k, RDU with 4.3k, Educated Collins with 1.4k and fourth comes a standard-player, Boarcontrol with 1.3k). (Biggest streamer, Kripp, plays it almost exclusively). Battlegrounds has also been out for quite some time now, so we cannot just excuse its high numbers by saying that views come from the novelty of the game-mode only.
Though DoD is not a bad expansion in my opinion, I just have not been able to enjoy standard since its release, but have enjoyed battlegrounds a lot.
What is your experience and opinion? Has HS killed itself by introducing standard or is it just me?
please do something about anubisath rogue, it is so frustrating to play against. And do not come here with your "high risk, high reward", because it is not. It is a much better barnes-big priest because of early tempo besides giant minions late-game.
I do not think that the biggest issue with Barnes is the swingturn itself. It is the fact that once they hit their Ragnaros, Y'Shaarj, or whatever, they will be able to revive it over and over again early in the game and THAT is the problem. It is the combination of an early super-powered minion - let us face it, a mountain giant on t4 is way less powerfull than a Y'Shaarj at t4 - together with the possibility of reviving it over and over again. And yes, you can tech against resummoning effects sure, but then you have to run a deck full of techs against other classes, which kind of ruins the fun experience of deck-building (sometimes). The other cards you mention to proof your point, I cannot agree with, they are not on the same powerlevel as Barnes (a card which everyone complained about when it was in standard by the way), and unless Mage can reproduce Crystal Runners over and over and over again, they do not represent the same problem as Barnes does. I think your counter-argument is flawed, Barnes' problem is not its immediate powerlevel, it is its powerlevel combined with Priest resurrect cards. A deck's powerlevel should not be assessed by the possibility of teching against it, it should be valued on its own terms and how its games are played out.
Depends upon Silver Hand Recruits being a thing. Since almost all classes have got even more AOE this expansion i doubt it. Going wide on board is not very good in the current meta, and it looks like it is not going to change in the next..
Even if Silver Hand Recruits become a thing I doubt how great this is. A 5/5 with Divine Shield is not something special at the moment.

I was thinking research project is a great card for draw and that wargoth + quest is always fun.

This card is definitively intended to be played with Thekal. If it will work, I cannot tell.

However, Face Collector could also give you a neutral legendary which Tess will not replay.

Are they done revealing for today or are they done until they have played some dungeons?
