True, but they did HOF all the even/odd mechanics 1 year before they rotated right?
Genn and Baku warped the entire meta around them, every card had to be balanced around the even/odd strategy.
Zilliax is used in many, many decks, but he's not meta-defining, no deck has a strategy built around him, he doesn't wins you games on his own unlike Leeroy.
But Rush isn't restricted to one expansion. Every expansion since Witchwood had cards with the Rush Keyword.
Back to OP, there's a small difference between the Charge card and Rush : if you cast Charge on a minion that can attack face that turn, it no longer can attack the enemy hero that turn, whereas a minion that can go face can still go face if you give it Rush.
You're comparing a card defining its own archetype to a powerful if highroll-y tempo card, there's a problem here..
A Keleseth on turn 2 was super strong but not unbeatable, and the decks it fitted in were either non oppressive or oppressive for other reasons (Patches for instance)
Pre nerf Quest Rogue warped the entire meta around it : free win if you're aggro and auto-concede if you're control. Keleseth's opness was balanced by its unreliability.
why not run tinkmaster though, or even just sylvanas? both are great tech cards against big priest and reno decks. I myself play renolock and have noticed that after i put tinkmaster into my deck, my winrate has gone up by 20 percent. luck? maybe, but i think its good, since you can basically negate his barnes and allow him to do nothing for the next 3 turns
Dead Man's Hand can go infinite by shuffling the second copy, what the hell are you talking about ? It takes more skill and setup to pull than Jade Idol sure, but everything is better designed than 1 mana "Win the tempo and fatigue game".
