posted a message on Azari the Devourer is impossible!?

Not impossible. I defeated him the first time I faced him with my blood warlock. I saw my friend defeat him with his Mage. He is definitely able to be defeated. It depends on your deck and approach to the battle, as well as some luck.

posted a message on Low opening rates :/

I opened a little over 50 packs and I received 2 Legendary cards from the packs. It is a terrible open rate, but within the established standards of the pity timer. It sucks, I feel I can't do much, but I opened both Rogue Legendary Sonya and Kingsbane, and both seem viable. I also got Woecleaver as the free legendary weapon. didn't really experiment much yesterday. I modified my tempo-rogue to include Sonya and climbed six ranks from 16 to 10 in a small number of games. I like Sonya, she can create interesting board states.

I don't like this change. I think what it should have changed to was keeping it at 3 mana, but instead increasing the stats on the Frog to 1/1 with taunt or a 0/2 with taunt, which makes it better for the opponent you cast it on then the sheep they get with Polymorph.

posted a message on Discuss the Nerf - Fiery War Axe

They should have given Fiery War Axe some additional power if they were going to increase it's cost. My thought is it gets +1 attack after the first swing or if it kills a creature. True, this allows it to be buffed, a power of pirate warrior, but trading (if you go with the later option) is not something pirate warriors are likely going to want to do.

Alternatively give it something extremely minor like "Counts as an elemental when played" thus playing off the name.

posted a message on KAZAKUS WARLOCK -perfect for this meta-

I have been using a somewhat similar deck for quite some time (Though mine uses Faceless Shambler, Medivh, and Elise - probably some others - and no crabs, MCT, or Alextraza)  and my win rate is about 66%.

It is possible that the OP card choices are better for the current meta and that could explain the 10% increased win rate. I have found that this kind of warlock does work very well, though a bad opening can get you killed by extreme aggro and while it can beat Jade druid, it is often a very tough match.

posted a message on [TOP Legend] Forsen´s Renounced ZOO - Great fun!

No, I've pondered giving it some dragon theme / synergy with some of the cards instead of Elise, but haven't done so yet. I did try a Renounce with some C'thun cards (Since you can always end up getting C'thun cards when you renounce) and that did decently - though I don't think any better or worse then the greedy 29 card version.

posted a message on [TOP Legend] Forsen´s Renounced ZOO - Great fun!

I've actually been running a deck very similar to this since the expansion first hit. I bite the bullet and crafted two renounce darkness cards for the fun of it and I also tossed in Elise Starseeker as my only non-warlock card. I figured if I'm going to renounce darkness, why not renounce non-legendary cards as well.

I also made a version for Wild,

Some of the cards you selected seem better / more interesting then what I added. For instance I didn't have Sense demons and I think I don't know whether I included sacrificial pact (I know its in my wild version, since I have implosion there).

Out of curiosity do you find it better to renounce as soon as possible or to build the board and take control as if a typical zoo and then renounce darkness when you start to run out of steam or need an answer the deck isn't providing?

I tend to favor renouncing darkness early on (though sometimes I'll wait till round four or five to get a few taps in and drop some value cards like Dark Peddler and Imp Gang boss) since that's when the mana discount is most easily felt.

EDIT: For the record, I doubt this deck is much good beyond rank 10 -- It is fun however and crazy. It doesn't really have any consistency. But it is fun - you get a constant game of 'What's in the box?"

Not cheap enough for a beginner to play and with so many one-offs, why not just tweak it slightly by dropping one beckoner of Evil and a second Elekk and toss in Reno?

posted a message on Having Trouble Ranking Up This Season?

I had something like this at one point and I do remember it being competitive. Very tried it out with Blingtron and the TGT/LoE weren't around when I was doing it. I might try this out (though at rank 9, I'm not sure how it'll do.) for fun.

I like the inclusion of Steamwheedle Sniper. I have a golden one and I've tried to fit him into numerous experimental hunter decks. Works okay in a Reno explorer deck I have.

posted a message on Card Nerf - Master of Disguise

That stats needed to be increased or the Mana cost needed to be decreased. One round stealth is worth maybe .5 Mana and as a class card the stats should at least mirror Yeti or Heckler (In fact, I'd say Heckler is a good comparison because Taunt is also a spare part effect)

I don't understand logic behind this nerf. I mean, who will want to play this over ogre brute?

It is better than Ogre brute if you are playing it round 9 or 10. Not terrible for Arena either.

Damaging only the minions made sense. I think the card cost increase was too high. 3 Mana would have been enough.

posted a message on ZooPatron - Do you think this can work? How would you improve it?

I haven't seen them around for a long time, but maybe a Raging Worgen? If it can stick on the board long enough to get it's wind fury - plus a power overwhelming or two...

posted a message on New Card - Infested Tauren

In the Kel'thuzad versus Rafaam tavern brawl we did see a 2/2 slime and in that brawl, the 2/2 slime that was created had the venom effect of pit vipers, cobra, etc.

If the 2/2 Slime created does in fact have that ability it makes it a little better. It's still not amazing because your opponent will for the most part be able to control when that slime appears and have a chance to deal with it, but it does either force them to play a spell/weapon or lose a minion.

posted a message on New Priest Card - Forbidden Shaping

This card always being on curve will make it very useful. It is interesting because it seems to be moving away from the discover mechanic of selecting only from within a pool of neutral and class specific cards and allowing any minion card that costs the mana amount to be created.

I think it will see play in both ladder and arena.
