This card was hard to use before because it's not a game ender on it's own, rather a big beatstick, but now that Shadowreaper Anduin exists, which can remove it without targeting this card will never see competitive play. Rest in Peace.

This card is absolutely busted. It's like the opposite growing Darkshire Councilman. But health is more relevant in the early game because it lets you trade for board. The only downside is that it has low attack, but that can easily be overcome with all the buff cards like Mark of the Lotus, Power of the Wild or Mark of the Wild. This card will definitely see play in token druid lists because it's a very sticky body that protects your smaller minions and can guarantee those early Savage Roar finishes. 5/5 Stars.

Ryzen's for sure. It is much more refined and consistent. They whole aim of the deck is to finish the quest ASAP. The Fire Flys and Igneous Elementals contribute to that much better and in addition the Glacial Shard's vastly improve the decks atrocious matchup against Pirate Warrior by freezing face or a big minion. Finally, the Vanishes improve the matchup against Taunt Warrior. All around the board, useless cards like Moroes and Violet Teacher that are too slow and situational get cut to improve the list.

Remember this was a day 1 Token list Dog just concocted on the fly to try the deck out. Now that the meta has settled a bit and we know what the top decks are (Taunt Warrior, Pirate Warrior, Midrange Hunter, etc.) teching your deck to improve it's matchups is much better than running an outmoded list.

I'm running this exact list but -1 Mimic Pod and +1 Edwin VanCleef because he gives the deck a more explosive opening, and he's an extra minion so he's not dead in your hand like Mimic Pod can often be.

Rogue's truly are the cockroaches of Hearthstone. No matter how many nerfs Blizzard throws at them or how many tools they remove Rogue always finds some way to have a Tier 1 or Tier 2 deck. Bravo Valeria. Bravo.

Nope. Devs confirmed it's choose which one of the four you want (the same way with Shaman's HP and Justicar). This is basically Shaman's Tirion. An auto-include in every midrange/control deck they make until the end of time. Great stats. Great flexibility. OP

Way too conditional when you could just Leeroy + Cold Blood and still fit your Rogue gameplan into your deck. Gimping your deck to pull off a one in a hundred combo seems a little overzealous.

This is like a Swiss-Army-Knife card. It is so flexible it's literally usable in every situation. Need board? Check. Need clear? Check. Need burn? Check. Need heal? Check. Cards with this design are terrible because they open up no counterplay and they're basically auto-includes in every future deck from this class.

Now it waits to be seen if we will experience another year of Shamanstone in Standard. Now that Tunnel Trogg and Totem Golem are rotating out, perhaps Shaman needs these powerful comeback cards on turns 6, 7 and 8, but there is still Wild, and this guy is not going to be fun to play against.

Violet Teacher is another solid 4 drop that has synergy with spamming lots of cheap spells since it generates a massive amount of token value, but Tomb Pillager is significantly better since it applies more immediate pressure and the value of the coin it generates is more meaningful when combined with Edwin VanCleef, Questing Adventurer orGadgetzan Auctioneer as opposed to having a 1/1 token on the board.

To everyone complaining that "now that aggro is nerfed, Reno is going to be cancer" I hope you realize that by minimizing how oppressive aggro is, midrange decks will actually be viable again, and they can completely destroy Reno decks. Remember, the current meta of Pirates vs. Reno was created because Reno was the only way to survive against aggro, and any non-Reno deck would get rolled over. Now that aggro decks have weaker opening turns, you aren't forced to play only Pirates and by extension, only Reno. Hunter can see play! Paladin can see play! Decks that come online in the midgame no longer lose automatically on turn 1 because they can't run an OP 1 drop, and they can overpower defensive Reno decks with their bigger midgame minions.
