    No.

If not playing Kalimos a strong inclusion may be Twilight Drake, The Black Knight or just another Hex. Kalimos is essentially an extra finisher or boardclear if you lack that tiny bit of damage. Including Drake offers you an extra large body in the mid game while adding Hex is better against slower highroll decks (mainly rogue and recruit hunter) and destroys taunt druid completely (33% chance to revive a frog instead of Hadronox. TBK is good for that final push of damage if there's a taunt blocking your way and is not as useless as Hex against mages, tokens and other hyper aggro decks.

Identical copy from the most played Even Shaman deck on the ladder right now, so not original. ince it's a good deck though, here's an actual datasheet of the mulligan guides in over 90k games. Hope it helps.

posted a message on Dragon's Fury Voice?

    Hi,

I was playing big spell mage, as usual, and when I played Dragon's Fury to kill 7 void walkers I heard a voice say something.

Has anyone heard this before? If so, what does it actually say? I had Alextrasza in my hand, was it her? I also had Alana in my hand but her voice is higher pitch.

    Cheers!

posted a message on Is King Krush ever viable or just pure dust?

I wouldn't, but not because it's viable. There are a few iterations of tier 3 decks that run King Crush. Think about the big hunters that were prominent in the early stage of this expansion. They have a 40% winrate against cubelock and aggro paladin but are even and sometimes even positive against the rest. The biggest downside is that's it quite a hard deck to master.

That being said: It's my fav deck.

posted a message on Why do people think aggro is easy or scummy?
    Quote from MarkerTassel >>

I am noticing that people who play non aggro decks think they are superior in play to aggro players, and they think aggro decks are easy. Obviously any sensible person sees through this but why do people still think aggro decks are easy wins. Also people using the argument that people trying to get easy legend always use aggro decks is wrong. Trying to use aggro to hit fast legend is because of the speed of aggro matches, not skill. Any thoughts?

Because you throw a bunch of crap on the board and pray to Jesus the other player doesn't have an answer to it. That is how ladder aggro players work. Don't try to find an excuse as how hard it is to beat control. Control is build because of people that play aggro out of pure desperation.

posted a message on New Neutral Legendary - The Darkness

Eventhough it's a really cool concept and it's gonna be good in the first couple of days, it's too slow.

Judging on the card reveals, secret mage is going to be the big powerhouse in the upcoming expansion because it beats Priest and tempo rogue/zoolock. It's strong already, just lacks a couple of cards to be top tier. The new secret and tempo cards revealed for mage will push it to the front of the tier list. Making the meta have to keep up. Aka, make the tempo decks more agressive. Making this card nearly unplayable.

Let's be honest. This deck is not competitive. BUT, it sure is fun as can be! I love it!

Edit after playing the deck more:

Removed White Eyes, 2x Hot Spring Guardian, 2x Volcano, Primordial Drake.

Added 2x Tar Creeper, 1x Golakka Crawler, 1x Barnes, 2x Bonemare.

Reason: Volcano is good but counteracts the earlier minions you play and after you played it, you often have nothing else to do the turn after because of the overload. A 3 mana 2/4 that heals 3 (Hot Spring Guardian) is good, but just a tad bit too weak in the current metagame where burn decks aren't that prominent and are replaced by tempo decks, that's why having a 3 mana 3/5 in Tar Creeper seems better. I removed the Primordial Drake, eventhough it's a dragon, to make room for Bonemare, which has an enormous amount of value combined with your hero power and other minions. Golakka Crawler beats the early game of most horrible matchups. Barnes adds more midgame value, which combines great with your turn 5, 6 and 7 plays.

In my experience, the only really bad matchup (less than 53% winrate) is Priest. The only way to beat Priest is to tempo them out. The changes I made make sure that you have a bigger board presence against the deck and also give you more of a fighting chance against early game tempo decks by having a board yourself. I would even dare to replace Barnes by another Golakka Crawler, but I'm facing more Priests and Mages (!?) than anything else at rank 1-5 currently.

I'm thinking about replacing both Hex currently, since they perform quite meh but untill I find a proper card to replace them with, I'll keep them in.

    Quote from UnicornViolet >>

10 Mana for a 5/5 is pretty weak, especially that late in the game.  Simply giving it taunt and divine shield would make it more viable because you could actually buy enough time to use the cards you drew from it.  As it sits right now, you basically waste an entire turn and get lethaled after playing it most of the time.

    Thoughts?

Just to be clear. Even without the 5/5, the card would still be strong.  It's a bit too strong right now and so is the druid class in general (untill we find a way to beat it properly)

Yeah, just as you said, removing the cards would defeat the purpose of the deck and change it completely. That's why I think, eventhough this deck is fun, it's hardly a tier 3 one currently. We'll need to see what the meta brings us. Maybe, just like Warrior, the Jaine hero card just isn't worth playing at the moment.

Basically any 1 and 2 mana drop is a keeper against control decks. If you're certain they're control keeping Jaina might be a good choice, since smashing down Jaina on turn 8 or 9 increases your winrate by alot, because you'll still have the spells to trigger your hero power's secondary effect.

Against aggro, you want to keep any 1 and 2 drop exept Primordial Glyph and keepiong Volcanic Potion against certain tempo decks might be a good choice aswell.

    Fun deck!

... However, the top of the meta right now are the 'new' midrange decks. Which this deck loses quite hard against since it trades several removals for top heavy cards that are incredible slow. Removing Sindragosa, Geddon and N'Zoth and trading them for 2 water elementals and medivh defeats the purpose of the deck, yet it makes it much (include several u's) stronger. An other thing that might help against aggro is to replace the babbling books by doomsayers.

I feel control mage, build like this, also lacks the option to outlast the stronger control classes like Jade Druid (without skulking geist atleast) or Control Paladin and Demon/Hand Warlock.

posted a message on Immortal Warlock with N'zoth, the Healer

I replaced Ravenous Pterrordax with Tar Creeper and 1 Moat Lurker for Gluttonous Ooze. I also removed a single Twisting Nether to add Lord Jaraxxus.

I feel the pterrordaxes more often than not are a liability and you often straight up lose by turn 5 without the tar creepers. The Moat Lurker's are a cool idea, yet I feel one of them is enough, the second one is often too slow. Lord Jaraxxus is cool and often helps against the aggro decks that are about to run out of threats after you removed them.

posted a message on Lord Jarraxxus as a hero card

Lord J is a hero card already though. He does everything a hero card does but because he's so strong, he has the minor drawback of being a demon and being able to be drawn from your hand. It's not a a hero-hero because he's just not. Not lore wise nor HS wise and he can be played on top of another hero card. Warlock has issue's o' plenty currently, don't take away their only real OP card.

Not disappointed. Warlock legendary works. Dinomancer was on the verge of being playable and now, with a potential extra heal (which is quite strong actually) discardlock can be a thing. I'm not saying a top tier thing (yet) but I think it'll be actually fun to play.
