The reason the 8/8 version was scrapped was that it was incredibly easy to manage to get a OTK, but also because with Vanish, it would be impossible to win the game unless the opponent had enough indirect damage to kill you, and it would also make it impossible to give Rogue a healing spell in that case.
IMO, I think Nozdormu should have taken inspiration of the 5 mana 8/8 version and be something with the same effect.
That makes sense. What do you think of my version of Yogg? I made this a few weeks ago:
Overpowered. Just imagine as a mage, you'd have 1-cost 2x Fireball, 2x Ice Lance, 2x Frost Nova, etc etc. Way too strong. Same reason why they scrapped the 10/10 version with the same effect, if you read their line of reasoning.
Yeah, in mage it is op. But it does give your opponent a turn to react compared to Blizzard's design. The cards in my idea take up hand space, most likely milling you a card, and the cards still cost one mana.

Out of the six different versions of Yogg-Saron, which one do think is the best? I personally think that the 10 mana 8/8 one was the best design. The first 3 just seem stupid. I don't know why the 7/7 version wasn't released. Why did it have to be 7/5?
And yes my title is clickbait-y, but I couldn't come up with another name. I know I wasn't forced to disenchant the nerfed cards. But now I can't play Hearthstone until WOG comes out. I mean look at this (I'm rank 15 becuase I don't have time for that ladder garbage, ok)

That is my fear. I mean look at how many great C'Thun cards there are. I guarantee you'll see a ton of C'Thun the first month since everyone will try it considering that he's free. I, for one am going to build a C'Thun druid day one.
Why isn't they make a wild and standard version of arena? I mean we still have all the ridiculously OP cards in the arena card pool. In the next two years or so, we'll have reached upwards of 1000 cards, meaning that arena will be incredibly saturated. I feel like Arena formats will be added in. I mean, why not? What if I don't want to ever have to see a Piloted Shredder or Haunted Creeper again? Why am I forced to play with them in Arena?
The title made me think you were talking about C'Thun's entrance theme lol. I do think it is a little excessive. I mean 13/134 cards is a lot. Arena players are getting a heavily reduced expansion.

You seem to be the one crying here. I'm not salty, just pointing out how many decks use the nerfed cards. Chill out, no need to be so jaded

Depends on the amount of dust you have. I have a little over 7000 dust and 50 packs (+13 bonus packs), so I think I'm set to be honest.

Savannah Highmane. Should be a 5/4 insted of a 6/5. It would still be good.
Sorcerer's Apprentice. Should be a 2/2. Still good, but not completely broken.
