I don't know man the reveal video for this card gets me a bit hyped about reno. Just seeing him with a gatling gun just feels right when you see it in video form.
I mean as long as paladin can get some reborn support (which why wouldn't it after this) this is just a really good heropower let alone it possible combo synergy. I mean you're already running reborn minions in your deck. 2/2 reborn minons for 2 mana sounds honestly fine and good for any turn you don't want/need to throw out a combo with it. Then add in combo synergy of some kind and you have a great hero power. Really excited for this in the expansion
I have no idea why people are comparing this card to branching paths. This card is obviously way weaker than that without combination, but this card is also obviously supposed to have its effects get combined with the quest reward and become actually a huge tempo and stabilizer on turn 6 something branching paths does not provide only being a stabilizer or value generator.
I think the swapping is both a debuff and buff at the same time. If you want the 5/2 stealth which I think is what you want usually you cant play it the turn you draw it. However, the swap does give you the flexibility to have a 2/5 stealth if you want for whatever scenario.
Well, silverware golem will spawn with this. you can play clutchmother after this. If you have quest you can play the portal on turn 5. Not that bad I say.
Well mage got Raven Familiar and Arcane Artificer so maybe with this, there could be a tier 3 big spell mage??? Your deck has Blizzard, Flamestrike, Cabalist's Tome, and (crazy I know) Greater Arcane Missiles. Basically, all spells which hit only enemies. Run small minions (maybe elemental package) to power you through the early game and then big spells to push you through in the late game? Eh I think it could see tier 3 if it gets more help this expansion.
I don't think this card will be played to deal 5 to face early on, but it can be a sexy removal tool for secret mage that doesn't lose as much value versus small minion check

that doesn't have quest synergy to become a 6/6 taunt that restores 12 health

We've had cards like this before you know? Archbishop is a easy one to bring up. It made no hard waves in the meta.
