    Quote from MrShmoove >>

Thanks FortyDust that definitely helps explain things.  So should you only really recall any given card once in general.  In our swashburgler example you play him, recall play him then pick say the pig and recall and play him?

I'm dying lololol. Thanks for the laugh?! XD

Thats all joke of hipster players who trying to do their first legend with rogue. Dirty Rat does nothing against them) Any rogue does quest on t4 and they have enough minions to do that even with 2x dirty rat at t2-t3

dirty rat can devastate quest rogue if you pull a brewmaster etc. or the card they are trying to play 4x.

I think it would be better if sets stayed in rotation for 2 years each, regardless of when they were released (so October 2016 release, October 2018 rotate out). I've been waiting since December to buy any cards, because I felt there was no point buying BRM, LoE, or TGT when those cards are rotating out in April, and pretty much every good deck required cards from those sets.

Of course I could always use the cards in wild, but at that time I had no interest in wild whatsoever.

This is pretty much my thoughts on the matter. Each xpac should rotate after 5/6 sets are released.

The way standard works, the first xpac released every year will be in rotation much longer than the last xpac. First xpac you will get  about your full 2 years worth. Last xpac will only be in rotation 1 year+ a few months. Seems almost not worth it to spend $ on last xpac.

posted a message on Current Meta (with deck tracker stats)

I can only fit so many games into a snapshot. The next page down is basically the same. after that there is more variety in classes that begins before rank 5. after rank 5 though it is 80%+ shaman + warrior.

Consists almost entirely of Pirate Aggro Warrior and Shaman at higher ranks. Incredibly boring trying to ladder and facing same decks almost every game. Do you guys find this is boring and brain dead as I do? I played these decks in 19 out of my last 23 games. That is actually ridiculous and I hope Blizzard fixes this soon. Does anyone actually think this is ok?

I was definitely an advocate for this nerf and glad to see it happen. That being said... everyone saying it should have gone to 10 mana needs to chill. I'm glad blizzard is trying not to repeat old mistakes. The change isn't even live yet. Is the card still overpowered? Definitely possible. Wait it out... play with the card, see what happens after the change. If it's still overpowered lets revisit the subject.

So I'm apparently bad at the game because I used my brain durin matches? Also, you do realize that what you listed also mostly applies to Midrange Hunter right? You do need to know when to overextend, you do need to know on turn 8, if it's better to use hero power instead of playing a Fiery Bat or something like that, you do need to maximize efficiency or else you'll run out of steam quickly. Knowing how to trade is a lot more complicated than "play minions and hit face until someone is dead"

Yeah any deck seems really simple when you put it that way.

lol. We all know u don't play Fiery Bat on turn 8, the only play is CoTW.

It wouldn't be understated for 4 mana, it would just have non-premium stats.
Take a look at Fierce Monkey, that's the class equivalent for a 3 mana Taunt Minion.

It would have weaker stats, an effect that doesn't make up for the stat difference and would be a class card (should have better stats or at least an effect that makes it stronger than it's neutral counterparts). You are seriously stretching by claiming any of the Animal Companion minions are worth 4 mana.

One less health than Kor'kron doesn't make HUffer a 3 mana card. (Remember that it's the attack value in the charge minion that decides It's cost). Just imagine a 4/2 charge  being able to be played separately; OP AS FUCK.

First of all according to whom exactly? Just look at the array of charge minions available. You have charge minions for 4 with 5 attack and 2 attack both. The one with 2 attack has 5 health and the one with 5 attack has 2, so your assumption that health plays no role in balancing a card is false on its face.

While I would agree Animal Companions aren't worth 4 mana, they definitely are worth more than 3. Lets say 3.5. The random (90% Huffer? lol) aspect of the Animal Companion spell makes it ok for 3. CoTW is still giving you like 10.5 mana worth of stuff for 8. And there is NO RNG element to CoTW. There is also no card that deals with it efficiently. 3 strong creatures for 8 is stupid. They aren't even vanilla minions... you get a charge, a taunt, and a buffer for 8? That is actually insane. The card is better than Rag in almost every scenario and harder to deal with. Rag is already crazy good. I could honestly probably go on forever giving more and more reasons why this card is broken but this post is already getting long.
Also, does the 5/2 charge minion you are referring to happen to be Reckless Rocketeer? It costs 6. Yet if you count the +attack buff from Leok. CoTW gives you a Reckless Rocketeer that is also a beast and 2 other good minions for only 2 mana. Totally fair... right?

I don't understand how anyone thinks this card is OK. I wouldn't say that the Animal companions are worth 4 mana, but definitely more than 3, so lets say 3.5 and completely ignore the beast tags. The randomness (even though it feels like 100% huffer unless you actually need Leok/Misha, then of course you get them instead) of animal companion makes it kinda OK at 3 mana... but really, a 3 mana 4/2 charge and 3 mana 4/4 taunt would probably played in every deck if given the option. Definitely over statted for 3 mana minions. CoTW essentially gives ~10.5 mana worth of stuff for 8. 10/10 partial charge, partial taunt, +buff across 3 minions on a non-legendary card for 8 is OK? 12/10 if you include the leok buff, potentially more if the hunter already has other minions. Which is super easy to do as hunter with all the deathrattle crap/hounds etc. Just 2 turn after dropping a 6 mana 10/9? (Highmane). Outside of Flamestrike, what is the counter play to this? There's not even a RNG downside to this card as there is with Animal Companion as you always get all 3 animal companions. You could even go as far as to say that this card combines 3 cards into one. Which has always made cards cost MORE, not LESS! Like seal of champions... 3 mana blessing of might (1 mana) + hand of protection (1 mana). While hunters might feel like they need it to compete against broken shaman (which I understand btw) CoTW is also broken. They should both be fixed really. Although it probably will never happen. Standard is the perfect excuse for blizzard to not have to balance this stuff. After all... its just gonna rotate... right?

edit: I'd also like to add that a think Blizzard needs to stop "printing" these kind of cards. That is... spells/minions that swarm the board with 1 card. Really... even if you do flamestrike a CotW you used a board clear designed to be a value card to trade 1 for 1...

posted a message on Wild will soon be the dominating format?
    Quote from Ehronatha >>
    Quote from maroon5five >>

People who play this game for long periods of time enjoy meta changes and wild will have fewer and fewer of those as time goes on (unless Blizzard just continues to powercreep, which is possible). I don't think wild will ever be the go to mode just for that reason.

Personally I don't look at it as "throwing my money away" as I do get enjoyment from playing while the cards are in standard, and I can always play wild with older cards if I want to (and I certainly do play wild on occasion to play my favorite classic decks).

I play Wild exclusively in NA.  My experience has been that the last two expansions have changed the Wild meta.  I think that that will continue to be the case.
But: I like Wild, but it is unfortunate that Blizzard has created the new format system as an excuse to never, ever have to rebalance an expansion card.
