posted a message on Ravaging Ghoul is the problem? [Ryse of Warriors] nerf?

Anyone think Ravaging Ghoul is a little too strong?

It can be used as removal, as activator for card draw/combo/executes, solid 3/3 body.

I think this is one of the reason Warrior is so strong right now, this card is very versatile.

Weapon durability decrease resolves later. That's why the Anubisath died first, his deathrattle triggered and then the whirlwind of the Bite hit.

     Ohh that explains.
    Thanks.

works fine, Deathbite goes to 0 at the same time as Anubis; both die, Deathbite whirlwinds the board, then Anubis buffs your 1/0 token before it dies.

No, the Anub deathrattle triggered first.
    This is why is strange.

posted a message on Deathrattle order resolving [Deathbite]

So, i was playing Arena with Paladin (dont flame me, i like easy money) and something really weird happened.

My opponent had a Death's Bite with 1 charge left, I had a Boulderfist Ogre in my side.

In my turn i played Anubisath Sentinel, i taunted him up with the spare part and summoned the 1/1 paladin token.

My opponent then attacked my taunted Anubisath Sentinel, i was expecting the whirlwind effect to kill my 1/1 token and then buff my Ogre.

But the Anubisath Sentinel deathrattle resolved first, despite the fact that Death's Bite had been played before, then the Anub buffed my 1/1 token, after that the Whirlwind effect triggered.

    WTF?

     This is working as intended?

posted a message on Why Blizzard dont balance HS?

I was watching the new Kripp video of how he would improve HS, and suddenly got my attention how blizzard just dont care about the balance of the game.

So i decided to check the patch infos for balance changes in 2015, and got this:

    Patch 2.1.0.7628 - 29th January 2015

    • A small patch, featuring a balance change to Undertaker, and various minor adjustments.

    Patch 3.2.0.10604 - 20th October 2015

    • A small patch, adding a new card back, Japanese localization, and a card change to Warsong Commander.

In one year they changed 2 cards lol

This is from a company that is constantly balancing Heroes of the Storm and Starcraft II.

So why Blizzard dont give a damn about imbalances?

They are afraid of losing potential costumers wanting to get those said op cards?

They dont want give us free dust?

I dont understand, i have been playing since beta and they changed a lot of broken/op combos, why they stopped?

posted a message on Divine Shield and Imp-losion, working as intended?
    Quote from Clord >>

Divine Shield doesn't get removed because it receives damage. It's removed because something tries to deal damage to a minion that it protects.

When that condition is met, it negates damage (making it zero) from that source once and removes itself.

Since damage is now zero, that spell card spawns no minions as it's based onto the damage.

How this is so hard for you to understand?

"Divine Shield doesn't get removed because it receives damage. It's removed because something tries to deal damage to a minion that it protects."
"Divine Shield is an ability which causes a minion to ignore the next damage it receives. Upon receiving any damage the Divine Shield is removed, and that damage is ignored. The amount of damage taken is not important, and may occur in combat from either attacking or defending, or from a spell or other effect."
"The first time this minion takes damage, ignore it."
    See?
Everywhere you search has different explanations.
Im just trying to understand this effect mechanically.
You are just coming up with your own interpretation of the mechanic.

Same deal with Acolyte of Pain. If you put divine shield on it you don't get a card

But this is obvious my friend, the card is not getting damaged at all.
Yes, that's part of the effect.
When an attack that would cause damage occurs, the divine shield does two things:
    1. Ignore the damage.
    2. Remove itself.
Thus divine shield is NOT absorbing damage like ..well.  a regular shield.  It's an effect that triggers whenever something that would've damaged the minion occurs.
Thus it's not damage that removes the shield but the shield itself as part of it's effect, along with the damage ignore.  It's similar to if I said "the first time someone tries to punch you, I'll shoot them to stop the attack, then walk away.
So when someone tries to punch you, I shoot them to stop their attack, then walk out of the room.  I was never punched and, thus, knocked out.  I simply walked away because that was the deal.  This means, of course, you were never touched by the punch, but it also means I'm not around to protect you.
Thus Imp-losion registers that it never did any damage and gives no imps.  It's 'not damaged', thus other effects that require damage to occur also don't trigger.  A water elemental won't freeze a target on hitting the divine shield and poison won't affect the target either.  Grim Patrons won't spawn if you divine shield them then hit an enemy.

But this is described in the card text.
Water elemental says: Freeze any character damaged by this minion.
    Same as poison effects.
Divine shield dont absorb damage its a good explanation.
If you really serch in internet, every site gives a different description of divine shield.
HS sometimes bothers with the inconsistencies of the mechanics/cards texts.

Imps spawn, if  a minion dies. As Minibot does NOT die, no imps will spawn in the process.

     No.
Imps spawn depending on the dmg roll, killing the minion or not its irrelevant.
I fear you're just a troll, but anyways: Imps spawn depending on the actual damage dealt. Killing the minion or not is irrelevant, because you can overkill. See Flame Lance on Wrathguard to see what consequences such overkill can have.
    I said exactly that lol

I believe this is working as intended. From the tooltip: "The next time this minion would take damage, ignore it. The shield is then removed."

So in this case, the damage of imp-losion is ignored making it 0, 0 imps ares summoned because 0 damage was dealt, and the divine shield is removed as per the tool tip.

If your really think about it, in order to break the divine shield, dmg must be dealt.
If the spell do 0 dmg, how the hell it broke the divine shield.
The spell says "do 2-4 damage".
You are doing damage, hence breaking the divine shield. The dmg of course gonna be ignored, but the damage was dealt.
Its working as intended, but to be honest dosn't make any sense if you think logically.
I'm quoting the tool tip on hearthpwn. I'd have to go into the game to see if that wording is consistent with the wording in game. However, based on this phrasing "The next time this minion would take damage, ignore it. The shield is then removed." I think it makes perfect sense. The damage is ignored, and then the shield is removed. That's how the ability functions mechanically.
It says you ignore the first instance of damage, not that the damage doesn't occur.
Its like i said, if you really think about it like this: if you dealt 0 damage to a divine shielded minion, the shield would not pop. So since imp-losion pops the shield it MUST be dealing damage. Even though the divine shield actually negates the damage to 0.
I think the confusion is more about how blizzard description in how the divine shield works.
