AFAIK, you have to actively click on it (choose it) from the in-game store; it doesn't just automatically get added to your account. At least that's what I had to do. Good luck.
Well I assumed it did just automatically get added to your account. Like so many legendaries and packs at special occasions. You know you log in and Tadaaa.. I don't see how that is so far fetched. And it was what twitter literally says! "Log into Hearthstone between May 12 – 19 to claim the Warlock Hero for FREE!" So how do you claim it? , well just Log into Hearthstone between May 12 – 19.

Toralan posted a message on Do you find this game too expensive?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from ThisWasTheOnlyUsernameAvailable >>Runnetera - may or may not be a better game than HS. From the few games I've seen it didn't grab my attention. Is it cheaper than HS? Yes. Is a Hyundai cheaper than a BMW? Yes.
All of these are card games that can be played online. But they are clearly not the same things.
I play HS (since closed beta), MTG:A and Runeterra at the moment and I can agree that the games are very different. HS is casual friendly in terms of gameplay, while MTG:A is the most hardcore and Runeterra is something in between. In terms of economy MTG:A is the most expensive, HS is quite close second tbh and Runeterra is the cheapest game to play.
HS is a good game and that's why I keep coming back to it, but the new things they are bringing this year have to work or else it will start falling behind the competition or it will truly become a card game only for casual audience, since in terms of gameplay and depth it can't compete well against the other two games I play and for me after going mostly F2P apart from adventures, the economy restricts what is left of the fun aspect, which for me is often brewing my own decks around cards I enjoy playing. EDIT: So is HS too expensive? for me in my current situation in life to enjoy "fully": yes and I don't preorder sets anymore since I don't feel I get enough worth for my money, but this is just my opinion of course.
Yes the game needs to generate money, but would it hurt if the players could choose their favourite class and get 1/2 legendaries of that class for free as their free legendary of the expansion when the new sets are released?
EDIT 2: billion typos.

FortyDust posted a message on Legends of Runeterra - discussion, analysis and first impressionsPosted in: Other GamesI agree, you do look like an idiot.
The point is that you can still buy wild cards. You can still buy advantage over others, no matter how minuscule do you believe it to be.
I don't think you know what pay-to-win means.
Pay-to-win is when the person who spends the most money has a distinct advantage, even over someone else who spent slightly less money.
The mere ability to purchase cards with cash isn't enough.
The fact that a free-to-play player can be up and running with a fully fleshed-out deck in very little time totally negates the ability of a paying player to "buy wins."
What advantage do you get when you buy cards, then? You may be able to build a more diverse collection more quickly, but that's not going to help you in any individual match. On a per-match basis, the only cards that matter are the 40 that are in your deck.
The correct label would be pay-for-variety, not pay-to-win, as a paying player will be able to experience a wider variety of decks. Even this minor perk disappears as the free player's collection catches up.

Sherman1986 posted a message on Blitzchung kicked out of grandmasters and banned from competitive playPosted in: General DiscussionWhen I found out what happened I thought everyone here would be on the same side for the first time, but yeah, I was wrong. :(
The truth is, I came to Hearthpwn just to post: "Avengers... Assemble!!!", but instead I found many joined Thanos army already.
What a shame... :(

Anyone who wants to protest against Bizzard's stance should suspend their account, as this company does not deserve our money.Let's sink this ship!

You rly think what he did was right by any shape or form seriously? And not to mention he did state what he state while knowing the tours rules and what would happen if he did so. Im not sure why you are mad at blizzard for doing what they say they would do if that happened, its their tour, their stream and politics have no place in such events anyway
You're technically right. The rule, for those who don't know:
2019 HEARTHSTONE® GRANDMASTERS OFFICIAL COMPETITION RULES v1.4 p.12, Section 6.1 (o)
Engaging in any act that, in Blizzard’s sole discretion, brings you into public disrepute, offends a portion or group of the public, or otherwise damages Blizzard image will result in removal from Grandmasters and reduction of the player’s prize total to $0 USD, in addition to other remedies which may be provided for under the Handbook and Blizzard’s Website Terms.
BUT I say screw the rules. This is so much bigger than Hearthstone. He knows the atrocities happening in HK and he knew he had a platform at that moment, and he used it to call out against what is unequivocally a humanitarian and political disaster in Hong Kong. Resorting to technicalities and rules to say "hey look, he broke the rules, it's written right there" is ignoring the nature of the situation. It's like saying you can't criticize Hitler because you might "offend a portion of group of the public", namely, neo-nazis. Obviously an exaggeration, but the point is, this is worth using your platform for, and punishing someone for doing something so important to protect an autocracy and keep their business is something very few people can support.
I get it from a business sense. But certain things call for taking the high ground and suspending business as normal. This is the Tianamen Square of today.
Probs the best post I've ever read on this forum

I couldn't see the interview and in the link is merely stated that he and two other players have violated one of blizzard's tournament rules. But if it is just because of the comments in the OP, this calls for a shitstorm. Unfortunately, I cannot watch less hearthstone (I dont watch it at all any more) nor play less (I switched to magic arena). But it ensures that i do not come back.

Disenchanting all cards from other classes is not a good advice. Disenchanting is sometimes necessary, but it is always bad value. And you determine yourself on playing one single class, which can get boring when you play a lot. And in the beginning you might even not know what kind of decks you like.
It is right to focues on one or two classes in the beginning, but that is more crafting not a hint to disenchant all the other stuff. If you disenchant everything else, you will have a hard time to switch to another class. And regularly some of the classes will not have very strong decks. For instance, if you would've disenchanted everything except Warlock, you could only play Zoo and that is not even a very strong deck at present. It will take some time (f2p) and dedication (arena) or money to build a good basic collection.
I am not an expert in mage since I don't like the class and the card list for your collection you linked is a mess (it seems to be not even sorted by classes), However, this is a cyclone deck you could use as insipration. You need for sure a second Conjurer's Calling and for the start, Fireball , Frostbolt , Flamestrike and Polymorph are solid removal cards.
Remove bad minions like Shieldbearer , Frostwolf Grunt , Raid Leader (only playable in Odd Paladin Baku the Mooneater ), Unpowered Steambot , travelling healer , Abomination and use better minions like Chillwind Yeti (still better than a lot of minions you use), Water Elemental or Sen'jin Shieldmasta . Maybe craft another giant.

Why? There is no condition to be met. This is what unconditional means.
1
I guess the spell damage minion would die from the 6 damage of the first blast. You could use Tainted Zealot in wild, but in Standard there is not a spell damage minion that can be combined with Earthquake and survives the first damage (even not Mana Reservoir ).
2
Not even overload. That is a crazy good AoE for the mana cost...

I like the kingdom rush games. But they are tower defense games...

Silence is strong against magnetic minions. If they go all in on a minion and you spellbreaker it, you basically had a x for 1.
Vicious Syndicate proposes mage and shaman against mech Paladin and midrange hunter (which I suppose comprises mechs since there doesn't seem to be a mech hunter in VS). And rogue seems to be balanced.

Vanish serves as an AoE. AoE is supposed to be rogues weakness.
Sap is a single target removal and a tempo card which fits rogues identity.

Control warrior was good against face hunter, that's true.
But control warrior was almost always unfavored against midrange hunter (as long as there was a viable midrange hunter build). Be it old times with Haunted Creeper , Mad Scientist , Piloted Shredder , Loatheb , Savannah Highmane into Dr. Boom or later iterations with unnerfed Call of the Wild. And then came of course Rexxar as you mentioned (although at the introduction of the DK Hunter had a rough time since it was all Jade Druid and Raza Priest).

If I am clicking on your link, Control warrior is unfavored against midrange hunter (and was unfavored most times) and is even against Bomb hunter and secret hunter.
