We have a 0 mana 1/1 vanilla, 0 mana 1/1 murloc and now a 0 mana 1/1 beast.
Next we need a 0 mana 1/1 pirate.
Oh wait...

I would say it is meta-defining, because it will shake up Rogue decks. It is uncreative, but nonetheless awesome.

Your name is GayBachelor, which i find very offensive as a single homosexual.

There are situations for both. One is not better than the other. Besides the pros that RioHS mentioned, there are also cons to Leeroy. He is often stuck in your hand until the very end as a finisher. Zoo doesn't rush face, plays to control board and therefore games run longer and to later turns (unlike Hunter). If you get Leeroy early in your hand or during mulligan, it's basically a dead card and I would rather have any other card. Doom guard can be play on curve or when you have no to little cards in hand. It trades with most minions and gets a two for one value.
The doomguard + discard PO argument is not as common in most games. If you don't have a minion on board for you play PO first, then play doomguard, then you were probably losing anyway.

It's a Legendary because it's a named character in the Warcraft universe. If it was an Epic, they'd have to change the name to something like "Insect Bug Thing That Trigger's Deathrattles", which also lacks a charm to it.
Want another example: If Grommash Hellscream was an Epic, they'd have to change its name to something "Raging Orc". Of course though, Grommash is a named character in the Warcraft universe and that's why he's a Legendary (and he's a very notable character in Warcraft lore, that also helps).
Do you get it?

For anyone interested in some stats:

arguably the deathrattle part makes it better since you can use cards that benefit from deathrattle.

No. they mentioned a million times that discover work only on cards that are neutral or part of your class. so if a card says discover a spell you are bound to your class spells. so you can't get weapons.

You're an idiot if you let yourself drop that many ranks.

Yup, gotta correct you. Raza's effect remains the entire game, regardless of hero power changes.

I think it's nice because it's easily controllable. In a deck like the old N'zoth Paladin list, which ran Tirion, Cairne, and Sylvanas only, this card would be a great addition. I don't think it's meta-defining but certainly it should see some experimentation. 4 stars

Judging from your username you aren't qualified to speak favorably about 4 mana 3/5s because you automatically have a confirmation bias. /s

Barnes will be at worst a 4 mana Spider Tank + 1/1 which is worse than a yeti in almost all cases. HOWEVER, the reason why I think Barnes will be insane is because of synergy with on-board effects, inspire, and deathrattle cards. If you design a deck around it (say, Freeze Mage), you can almost be guaranteed value. You will get a Loot Hoarder, Bloodmage Thalnos, Archmage Antonidas, Malygos, Emperor Thaurissan, or Alexstrasza (vanilla 1/1), and by late game you can already reduce your options to get exactly what you want. In other words, it can become an additional win condition, which is extremely important against almost any matchup. Retrospectively, you can just stick it into a deck with lots of deathrattles or on-board effect minions (cough Control Paladin with Tirion, Sylvanas, Cairne, either Ragnaroses, Ysera, etc etc) and still profit most of the time. Heck, just getting a 1/1 with divine shield or taunt could be decent too.

A 10 mana 7/7 draw 3 spells? 10 mana War Golem + Nourish in one card? Even in the worst case, it's still insane.

If it were 2 mana then it would be too overpowered. Flamecannon is 2 mana deal 4 damage to a random minion, and the ability to target minions only is usually better than the ability to target all characters when it's random. 3 mana maybe.

This is so bad.
Even if you can control which cards you discard, and even if you have two of these to discard perfectly controlled, these aren't worth card slots in your decks. It's a 4 mana flamecannon meaning it's borderline un"playable", and even if you get it for free you would need an empty hand with this or just pray to RNGesus that you're lucky.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe this will see constructed play, but I don't see it.

You can kill the weapon faster by replacing it with another weapon, giving the deathrattle immediately. Not only that, but the weapon itself does 2 damage to anything (even if you take the damage yourself and you can't bypass taunts) so it's not a tempo loss. Even with the 4 cost, it's pretty comparable to Assassin's Blade (which is a 5 mana 3/4) so overall I think this weapon is pretty decent. Even if it doesn't fit the current shaman archetypes I'm sure new decks will come out with this card included.

This guide must be the pinnacle of face hunter glory :( Good guide, sure to be seeing a lot of face hunters.
