Zilliax is much better than this card, imagine if you would get an upgraded version of zilliax in odd warrior if you'd spend 25 mana on spells prior, would you do it ? probably not (also not to mention zilliax has taunt which makes it MUCH better than this minion is)
And if you include stuff like call to arms you'd have to make a control shell that fits with it (don't forget this) so far the only high cost spell that is really worth running is spikeridged steed and that is about to rotate in the next 3 months, if the paladin spells aren't absolutely amazing then this is unplayable)
Now that you mention it though id much rather just play zilliax instead.
ok i have to say maybe i was a little to mad while seeing this as a control pally main but my point is if you spend 25 mana (on spells only mind you!) the effect should better be amazing or game winning.
Take nzoth for example, you don't need to sacrifice a lot in wild to get good value with a nzoth right ? at worst you'd put in some minions like sludge belcher and sylvanas that you'd play either way and guess what you get amazing value for sacrificing almost nothing.
For this card you actually have to make your deck actively worse, you need to draw it AND it doesn't help you to win the game by its own (also it being legendary means you get it less consistently)
Maybe im wrong in it being literally unplayable however i doubt that this will ever be a staple, the effect just isn't strong enough for it to be an auto include for control decks.
We still have 132 cards left to see. How about you wait before spouting your half-baked opinion?
Look no matter what card they print, playing this minion is NEVER gonna be worth playing 25 mana of spells EVER, if you have to spend 25 mana in spells for a card to be worth it the effect better be amazing, this is nothing more then a mediocre minion that dies to removal and won't keep you alive.
i get double the health with branching paths as armor (without needing a target to attack) for 4 mana or if you want a paladin minion take ragnaros lightlord for 8 mana without requirement which is 1000x times better than this, i can't believe anyone can seriously defend this card as good.
Absolute garbage in my opinion, paladin was never a class that was spell heavy to begin with and the stats you get from this minion aren't worth the effort of making your deck worse just to fit the card in somehow.
To make things worse this minion doesn't even have charge meaning you won't be able to instantly heal if your opponent plays around it (and 7 health isn't a lot in this meta, in fact id get twice that amount as a druid for 4 mana and on top of it its armor)
And to make it look even worse (i can't believe this is even possible) it doesn't even provide a win condition after spending 25 MANA on SPELLS as a paladin, wtf blizzard ? Seriously this minion would barely see play as a 9 mana minion without the requirement.
The paladin legendary is so bad holy shit, no support for that card can convince me otherwise.
to explain, the stats are VERY bad the mana cost is ridiculous and the heal is barely worth it, this could be printed on a 10 mana minion WITHOUT the requirement of using mana on spells and it still wouldn't see lots of play. To top it all off it doesn't even have charge so it can't act as a finisher of sorts, so if your opponent has no minions you won't even get to benefit from the heal (also not to mention how should paladin spend 25 mana on spells in a single game, lay on hands ? sound the bells ? 100% dust)
Recruit basically is "how to make an expansion with understatted minions while stealth nerfing rng effects in the process"
I kind of like the card though, can be okayish in a warlock deck that doesn't run as much early demons, its hard to tell what deck that would be though (maybe control because even if you get jaraxxus a 3/15 can be nice maybe with sunfury/argus aswell ?)

Dude Razakus priest is literally tier 1 in wild only rivaled by darkglare warlock (and only if piloted very well)
And i don't know where you got your standard winrates from but good players don't get garbage like 44 WR with priest at all lol.

Well i can at least guarantee you NO one ever would enjoy getting flamestriked by random card generation.

Fake news.
The 200 million $ earnings are apparently only revenue from PC players which is amazing considering that mobile makes probably a lot more money.
