I think the system is a bit glitchy. Your achievements will definitely add up in your own user profile, but when you visit the user profile of someone else, the achievement counts you see on multiple-time achievements are actually still your own.
I'm not sure why it happens but it's a known issue, just not a very high-priority one.
This explains perfectly why the numbers do not add up when viewing someone elses profile.
If people are seeing their own not adding up though, it may be something we need to look into and fix down the road.
The current stats shown are ones which are actually available in the client as tagged attributes. Things like card draw aren't actually tagged onto cards, so these "custom" keywords were never added onto the site. That is why Mega-Windfury shows up, it's a tag in the game.
It is something I would like to see in the future though to help improve the deck builder and just searching for cards on the site in general. Thank you for your feedback!
i get constantly bombarded by ads and redirected to the app store when visiting this site on my iphone. annoying as hell!
If you're having issues with redirects, and it IS our advertisements and not rogue applications on your phone, we need to know more information about the ads so we can report them to get rid of them.
The destination url was reported to our ad team who got the url banned, so this is a bit of an oddity! Is it possible you have a rogue browser addon injecting ads / redirects? Try disabling your addons to see if that improves anything. Let me know how that virus scan goes, I'd also perform a malware scan through malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.org/.
If the problem still exists, and it is one of our ads doing it, Can you gather any other information about the ad that is on the page before it redirects you?
Applications are now closed. Thank you to everyone who has applied. We will be getting back to all of you letting you know if you have made the cut. If you didn't get in this time around, you're welcome to reapply in the future.
My advice to anyone reading this that wants to get involved in the future, get active on the site!

There could also be a bunch of bug fixes! On that note though, just because the game client is 201 versions ahead, doesn't actually mean there's that many real changes to it. Each of those card back strings could have had multiple commits to their source code to finalize it.
There's also a possibility that certain code commits between the current live patch and this datamined patch aren't even in the current patch as they were cherry picked out. Bad cherrypicking could be the reason we've learned of Blackrock Mountain today. Maybe this patch supposed to be just bugfixes, and they forgot to remove the cardback data.
As you can see, there's a few different reasons why the version number really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. It is very easy though for us to use it though to refer to patches!
I'm in the same boat. 500 gold currently, but I'm making sure I get on and knock those dailies out from now until PAX. I'll see what I'm doing with my gold once we get that Hearthstone announcement.

Yeah, I think I'm going to continue to save my gold. Blackrock Mountain is the potential next adventure? Sign me up!
Although I wonder if preorders will be available via gold.. would suck if you can only get the card back reward for preordering with real money.

Sorry about that. There's a bug on the forums currently which is removing the CSS from the post. It's being investigated.
