We have absolutely no idea what's going to happen with Edvin and the other cards that are already in HOF next year when HOF goes away, so there is really no point in speculating or even complaining like many people do now about this. There's so many possibilities of what could happen, and a lot of those are at least as good as the dust refund so we'll just have to wait.

I expect they'll do it similar to last year, that they're going to give an overview of everything that's coming this year in march, leading up to the first expansion.

 For 1 group of achievements you get both orange points and experience, so it's possible you got that from those.

I think they will make a new such group every expansion since that set is called something with Darkmoon faire

Obviously Duels was not designed as a gamemode for everyone. Have you done many solo Dungeon runs in the past? If the answer is no, then the game mode is not for you. Then you shouldn't complain about it that you don't like something that wasn't even meant for you.

I know people who have done many solo dungeon runs and I'm sure they will love this mode. The whole mode is not meant to be as competitive as ranked play, so not meant to be for very competitive people.

It indeed is not the Book of Heroes. The book of heroes is the 'new solo experience' that was also on the sheet they presented:

We've had the new solo experience (Book of Heroes), Battlegrounds feature and are in the middle of the seasonal event now, so the new game mode will probably come after the seasonal event.

The next expansions likely launches early december, so we're now pretty much in the middle of the expansion cycle. My best guess is that the new game mode is launching begin november (soon after Halloween) and we'll see first announcements in a few weeks.

I'm not sure I agree with there being that much more rng than back in the days. Just remember all the Mage opponents coining out Dr. Boom they got from Unstable Portal on turn 3.

But the second point is absolutely true and I don't like it either. Due to power creep some cards just have become extremely powerful for little effort, which makes the game kinda unfun. Also there have been way more stupid OTK decks the past expansions than there used to be back in the days.

See, that's where I disagree with you - respectfully.  A post like this seems well thought out and earnest (not all do). I like hearing people theorize about how to improve the game.

Did I overreact a bit? yes, could my response have been nicer? absolutely yes.
But the post is just a big opinion, backed up by nothing.

"I just feel like X, it doesn't feel right, my opponent played decent cards, NERFS!" 
If he wants to be taken serious he should put some data [Vicioussyndicate is great for that or premium HSReplay]. 

I bet most of those deck barely reach 50% win rate, yet he ask for nerfs -.-

OP didn't present data and concluded that some cards must be nerfed like apparently you want people to do, the OP presented his thoughts on what he thinks should be nerfed and wanted your opinions on them. Why don't you get that data you love so much and show him why he's wrong (or right)?

On a side note, there's more than the data Vicioussyndicate or HSReplay can give you that goes into which cards get nerfed and which don't.

Also there was no whining or rage in his post at all, just honest suggestions. The only one to 'whine over and over and over...' is you about people sharing their thoughts.

They almost never release cards in the middle of an expansion cycle.

If I understand this correctly, it works this way:

If you draw 5 cards with Secret Passage, and then play a card that copies cards in your hand, for example Elise the Enlightened, the copies created by Elise are no longer shuffled back into your deck.

I never dust anything if I don't need dust and when I need dust I dust the cards which I don't think will ever be nerfed.
