I think this is honestly the least fun I have ever had playing hearthstone.
Ladder is almost one hundred percent brain dead deck that just draw the nuts and win or brick draw and lost.
Pirate Warrior, Jade Druid, Dragon Priest, Aggro Shaman are all pretty brain dead. They are not all aggro but they all just draw the nuts and win or brick and lose there is very little decided by gameplay.
blizzard continues to be unbelievably shit at game balance and makes retarded overpowered trash that pushes braindead decks to the top of the matter and cancerous crap is almost all you play against.
In other news the world still spins, and sky is blue.
After watching Amaz's Tourney and now Seat it is very obvious that Aggro Warrior and Aggro Shaman are stupidly overpowered even in the tournament format.
So it is also clear something has to be done about it.
What do you think will get the nerf bat the little 3/2 Pirate cancerous asshole or the one/one charge piece of garbage.
Better question. Will Blizzard stop making braindead trash decks the best in the game or will we all just find another game to play?
I voted Face Hunter, or as I know it. Huntard. Actually, I don't remember running into that much after Naxx and I think that got nerfed pretty quick.
I remember the 2 mana Starving Buzzard being the cancer hunter that really plagued the game, often with an OTK end rush of beasts.
Turn 5 Warrior hasn't been around long enough to really judge but looks like it bricks a lot. Any deck that has a game that decided by turn 5 weather you win or lose is pretty much the worst thing ever. Aggro Shaman seems to be taking the top Aggro Spot again too. Which means we are no longer in a one Aggro deck to rule them all meta...because we are in a two Aggro deck to rule them all meta. I think there is enough building outrage (among Streamers and Pros bcus that is who Blizzard actually listens to) that Small-Time Buccaneer or Patches are definitely going to see a nerf though. Hopefully, Blizzards learns from this, but they wont.
Been sticking with old school Midrange Shaman, which has a lot of rough matchups right now.
Changed things around with a build that hopefully works.
There are a lot of ways to make tokens right now in Shaman. I'm running a Bloodlust/Thunderbluff build may go full Bloodlust. Jade Claws, Maelstrom Portal, and Jade Lightning all make tokens to Bloodlust. Considering Barnes as a token generator prolly better then Jinyu.
Also got a Jinyu Waterspeaker to stabilize. May not be worth it unless I add 7/7 and Rag tho.
Acidic Ooze for weapons.
Al'Akir over Ragnaros. Too many opponents seem to be able to have a decent board I can't easily remove late game.
Tips/ideas? no one is playing Midrange right now so it's on your own to figure out.
It is what Hotform said of Aggro Decks. "You are creating the puzzle for the other player to solve." You have no decisions so it seems very boring because you already know Axe to face turn 2, Pirate to buff axe turn 3 then face. The other player is enjoying or is frustrated in having to find the line of play that keeps them alive and allows them to beat your kill clock.
I rope a lot of turns sometimes. Depending on the deck I am playing. If you are playing a control deck your not insanely familiar with and your not roping every turn your probably making huge and small misplays that are costing you a lot of games. I often spot an alternative better line of play right as the rope hits.
Patches, weirdly, seems to be the new OP put this is in every deck legendary.
I am watching SupeJJ play against Ostkaka. One is Aggro Shaman, the other Reno Warlock. Both are running Patches. Warlock with weapon removal pirate. Shaman with that new cancer one-drop pirate.
I see a few things that seem a bit counter intuitive.
Unlicensed Apothecary triggers with Imp Gang Boss/Possessed Villager summons a minion, meaning a clever opponent can OTK you if you have both up
Abyssal Enforcer/Felfire Potion acts as board clear 3 and 4 for your opponent. Also in a good Zoo game your prolly relying on your hero power enough that this may just kill you
Violet Illusionist is a 5-mana combo to draw a card/or insanely expensive board clear without damaging yourself. The point of Zoo is that you trade health for advantage and play aggressively. You don't care about your health is this deck.
Bloodfury Potion is just weak in general.
*Side note: Does work good as "Make Great Again" satire. As it is counterintuitive and will likely lead to you killing yourself most games.
I haven't messed around with it much. I don't have a lot of new cards. But if you can guarantee a lot of buffs like a Don' Han Cho or more on Soggoth the Slitherer it seems like he would be an unstoppable killing machine that can never be by-passed.
Test it out, let me know if you get a good build for it and how well it works out.
Wild may seem fun at the higher ranks. Standard is often more fun at higher ranks too.
Once you hit the Secret Paladin train you will change your mind really quick. Wild Games only go past turn ten if your deck is ultra tech'd to survive.
Look at the wild meta decks over on Tempo Storm. They are in only two camps. The most aggressive deck you can possibly make, and the most control deck you can possibly make.

It was slightly more powerful but it never got above tier 2 before Old Gods because a lot of decks were more then slightly more powerful.

Alright, but rough

Does that really work for you?

Just watch his Twitch it is pretty much all he plays. His list varies slightly game to game. Kazakus and Brann is huge.
OH, and Kripp has an OTK version that is pretty interesting.

Small-Time Buccaneer and Patches have synergies with a Shaman that runs Spirit Claws.
New Aggro lists have the Shaman burst start, and the Pirate Warrior burst start in one deck.
Small-Time Buccaneer and Patches have single-handedly ruined this expansion. lol.
