posted a message on Saviors of Uldum! New Hearthstone expansion releases on August 6th!

She's supposed to sound dry because of their scripts, but it doesn't fit with the rest.
It doesn't fit with something that's supposed to be new and exciting, and especially doesn't fit with the 90's music and presentation.
Oh man, if Ben was doing that presentation...

posted a message on August expansion day 1 experience

I've done this for the latest expansion -= right after seeing the keyword ECHO =- .
I actually enjoyed this expansion more than the rest. I'm sure it's not because of the content.

I also recommend it :) , I'll be doing it for the next expansion.

posted a message on Dalaran Heist is a bummer

For me, it is definitely a bummer. I was looking forward to the single player content, but after wing 2 I decided not to purchase any more wings.
Saw the gameplay for the rest on different youtube channels, I have no regrets whatsoever for not purchasing any other ones, quite on the contrary, I wish I had my money back for wing 2.

posted a message on Literally nobody uses original decks whether it's casual or ranked (If any, it's like less than 5%)

I joined a competition once, this was during the Inspire expansion. My decks were all original decks I've made from scratch, and used some cards you'd rarely meet in their class ( even had a Coldlight Oracle in priest ). These were mainly control decks as I love long games.
These would be decks that got me to rank 5. I did manage to beat one opponent, because he was playing a slow control deck. Next opponent, got destroyed by aggro and possibly bad luck.
Decks that are experimented a lot on, are sure to work - others, possibly not so much.

If you have her golden, and you don't care about having a golden collection, wait until it's 3200 dust and go for it.

posted a message on Dalaran Heist is a bummer

    I enjoyed the first wing.
Purchased the 2nd one, got bored.
If there is something really exciting on any of the other ones, I'll consider getting it.
Otherwise, if the other 3 are like the 1st and 2nd ones... absolutely not.
    Cheers ! :)

The most consistent deck I've put together this expansion was : Control Warrior. It does well against pretty much everything. Obviously, I recommend it.

posted a message on BlizzCon Returns November 1 & 2 - Ticket Information & New Features

There's not going to be a decline in attendance. To give you an example : there are thousands of people who play WoW and have played it for 10+ years. People who play their other games passionately. 30$ is nothing to them, they have to get to Anaheim, California ( think of the people coming from Philadelphia for example ) , they need to book a flight, hotel room, other expenses - and some even pay 550$ for the full access ticket.
This year, the participation is randomized, so you're not at all guaranteed at any point you can even get a ticket.

They'll definitely have audience. 30$ is nothing compared to what they could charge extra, Blizzcon tickets usually evaporate within seconds of availability, it's quite difficult to get your hands on one, and this year they made it even more difficult as it's RANDOM who gets one.

Pricing is $229 for the BlizzCon Pass, $550 for the BlizzCon Portal Pass, and $750for the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner. Further details BlizzCon 2019 will be announced at a later date.
Virtual tickets haven't been announced yet, I think somewhere between 50$ and 80$.

posted a message on Damage control is already on. We see you Activision.

@tardisgreen "What color is your tin foil hat?"
What level is your ignorance ? actually, not even curious. Please move along, go upvote Diablo Immortal.

@RavenSunHP "You should stop purchasing packs with real money simply because you think they are not worth it.
Not because of some conspiracy about them allegedly hiding criticism..."
I'm going to support a company that leaves it all in the clear and the open, not someone that hides any negative comment in an attempt to keep a great atmosphere towards boosting up their sales and player database. Believe it or not, many people are affected by others' opinion.

@ShivaChef "Im more likely to believe that it was other people/ HS fans, who dont agree with the negative comments, down voted them. "
I want to agree with you, I really do. However I've been looking at all the 14 pages ( at the time of the post ) and the negative numbers at the time were all around -10 to -13, in a window of 8-9 hours. Statistically, I'd say it's impossible that those exact numbers appear everywhere.

@ShivaChef "Damage Control .... what do you mean, srsly? There hasn't been any damage to begin with."
Yes there has, but not many of us have observed it, because it's HIDDEN. If you read the thread's first post again, then visit the respective page and see all the negative comments HIDDEN, that should give a clear version of the damage control.
As for the damage, clarifying to everyone that they're not bringing nearly anything new and then throwing up pack ordering for cash grab does DAMAGE to their sales. Sure' we haven't seen all the cards, but so far there isn't something truly innovative and the cash grab is out there for the taking. There are people who want to order and read the comments. That's why we're getting muted. They don't want anyone to get influenced by negative opinions and reconsider the purchase.

@tzon_e "However if they choose to delete (or hide) negative comments, why they choose to ask the community about changes, receive a thousand billion negative comments about Baku and Gen and then decide to HOF them prematurely? "
It's different. This is the first reaction to an official release, and it's the first reaction to their 1/3 yearly main income - new expansion packs.
This isn't balance ( which is nowhere near fixed with OTK decks but I'm not going into that ) , like Baku/Gen. This is cash grabbing.

@Exitium "I feel like we might want to wait until the expansion is out, or at least the cards have been revealed until we decide to judge? "
Wrong thread, we're discussing damage control here. On a short note : there are plenty of highly logical reasons that explain why the new expansions isn't likely to bring anything great, and why it doesn't SO FAR, in the expansion announcement comments. All of those are HIDDEN though.
