I bet you a preorder and 100 more packs that never happens in a pro-level event.

Worlds clearly shows how the warrior matchup can be trounced, and it never involves 3 Archivists.

Well... I agree that the turn limit has never been a problem, but it happened, do I get packs?

posted a message on How will Blizzard inevitably nerf rogue?

I have to admit that having to play specifically control warrior to have a good matchup against rogue is kinda annoying, but at least the deck doesn't feel too bad to play against, except for sap: you could counter all the rogue burst with taunts if they didn't had that card. Nerfing sap to 3 mana would probably be enough to make the class more in line with others. In alternative I think that nerfing wagglepick to a 3/2 weapon could be very effective: it's 2 less damage and you can't prep raining party into wagglepick double 3/3 anymore, which is a big deal, the deck could even become bad (I would try to avoid killing a deck if possible, it's not right to nerf things into nothing). Last but not least the most crucial card for the rogue class is preparation: since they nerfed innervate to only give 1 mana I could see preparation only discount 2 mana from the next spell you cast: that would surely be enough to tune down the deck a lot, but again I'm afraid that would even be too much. Since there will always be a best deck, I would probably nerf nothing at the moment, I'm totally fine with tempo rogue being the best deck at the moment, it's a lot less oppressive than things like old pirate warrior and is surely less boring than playing against control warrior with double brew master and Elysiana.

posted a message on Token druid, a cancer on a otherwise good expansion

Just play zoo if token druid destroys you. You can also play mech paladin, it has a pretty good matchup against it and also counters every warrior. Only 5 days passed since the release of the expansion, you should try to find counters instead of complaining about a deck that is surely good, but is nowhere near the power level of things like the old pirate warrior and aggro shaman or polarizing as quest rogue.

Yup, it's surely his fault if the meta feels stale. Now why don't you show off your ideas instead of crying here, rank 20 boy?

Why not just play Galvanizer + Grim Rally?

I know that there are a lot of new combo disruptors, but only Unseen Saboteur is good against this one (Hecklebot is kinda random since there are 17 minions)

All the opponent needs to do is wait for you to empty your deck and most of your hand before playing these.  Unless you're holding 5 wisps to play the turn you combo, hecklebot and unseen saboteur are basically guaranteed

Hecklebot is not dirty rat, it pulls minion from the deck, if you have them in hand it actually only help you empty your deck faster. Unseen saboteur is good against this deck, that's pretty obvious. I prefere this instead of galvanizer + grim rally (even if you need yo play one more combo card) because you need to draw galvanizer and mecha'thun and play galvanizer on a different turn. What I'm saying is that I prefere to play a 5 cards 9 mana combo instead of a 4 cards 11 mana combo, but that's just my opinion.

I'll only say that Muckmorpher is underrated. AlsoEccentric Scribe seems a lot underrated, considering the amount of stats it has for only 6 mana and all the tokens he generates.

Actually, this combo looks pretty good.

You can also pull off the combo by using Spirit Bomb on Dorian because it dies from Shriek too, that way you have a back up in case Grim rally gets pulled from your hand. You can also have another cheap spell in your hand such as Mortal Coil to bait the Unseen Saboteur pull too.

Yup, good suggestion on spirit bomb, thanks a lot!

That's the corridor creeper of the set I guess. You shouldn't underestimate neutral a Savannah Highmane that has a lot of synergy with cards like Bloodlust, Savage Roar, Sea Giant, Grim Rally and any other buff that exists, this is really good to top the curve of aggro decks. 10/8 of total stats plitted in 5 pieces. Sticky, token synergy, 6 damage every turn if not removed.
I could be totally wrong, but I'm pretty sure all other 6-drops are worse than this, except Savannah Highmane
If that's not the case, it will be at least a god-tier arena card.

posted a message on (Ros) Mecha'thun Warlock Theorycraft

So, I always waste a lot of time thinking about stupid combos when a new expansion is about to get released, and after dropping some ideas that I had with shaman and hunter I found out that you can still make a Mecha'thun combo in warlock thanks to Plot Twist, I tried to make a list (link in the spoiler):

I know that there are a lot of new combo disruptors, but only Unseen Saboteur is good against this one (Hecklebot is kinda random since there are 17 minions)  and probably not every deck can afford to play 2 of that... I'm not sure, is combo not dead yet? What do you guys think? Every constructive comment is very much appreciated.

PS: the combo is explained in the deck list, but I'll post it here too if you don't wanna watch it:
1- You need to have only 1 Plot Twist, 1 Dollmaster Dorian, 1 Shriek, 1 Grim Rally, 1 Mecha'thun and no other cards in your deck, hand or in play, except for 1 health minions, those don't matter.
2- Play Dollmaster Dorian, Plot Twist your hand. Dollmaster Dorian will then summon a 1/1 copy of Mecha'thun.
3- Play Grim Rally on Dollmaster Dorian, that will leave you with only a 2/2 Mecha'thun in play, a normal one in hand and Shriek.
4- Play Shriek: you will discard your Mecha'thun and kill the 2/2 copy that you have in play, triggering its deathrattle that will win you the game.

posted a message on What scares you the most in RoS?

I'm not completely sold on Secret Paladin being strong, because I don't see much mid and lategame in it. I mean you have a good early, but is it that good that it can carry you until you win? I don't think that playing a bad card on turn one followed by a totem golem or an unnerfed fiery war axe is good enough to win the game. Bellringer sentry surely is strong, but the decks feels it's lacking something on turn 3 and from turn 5 to 7 (there is no divine favor anymore, so you kinda have to play something big, you can't just win by dropping your hand and then divine favor). So what worries my about the viability of the deck is the lack of a really big reward for playing cheap bad card (again, divine favor). It seems like you can kinda fill the curve with something (mechs?), but it doesn't feel that it will be super oppressive in my mind, but I could very well be wrong.

Murloc Shaman on the other hand can make a strong solid board early (good aoes are gone), consolidate it with spirit of the murlocs and bloodlust on turn 5 to kill you. Also shaman has lightning bolt, lava burst and they got a really good way to keep fueling their hand with the new murloc, that seems kinda scary.

You guys seriously think Zul'jin wants a RANDOM spell when only a few select spells actually work with him?

This card is trash in Zul'jin deck. And springpaw + timber wolf are better for beast hunter.

Trash card for Nine lives deathrattle deck.

    Obviously too weak for Wild.

I see no hope for this card. It wouldn't be revealed this late if it was a good card anyway, so it's blizzard that first told us, this card is TRASH.

By the way, Macaw only see play in budget decks, or bad decks. Webspinner haven't seen play for years. This is worse than macaw and webspinner.

I hate to keep saying that a lot of cards just rotated. Also, do you really wanna play beast hunter with only timber wolf and springpaw as 1 costs? (spoiler: timber wolf isn't a 1 drop).

What's the point of this? Rotten Applebaum is superior to that.

Rotten Applebaum needs to die to heal you, this doesn't even need to be played, so you can make some random combos with this + augmented elekk and plot twist... Not saying it's good, but it could be, technically you can have infinite healing and infinite cards in your deck...

    Turn 9 Alextrazsta

Turn 10 Mind Blast X2 & Archmage Vargoth

    GG

I was just about to write this, that's actually a decent finisher for control priest after rotation I guess.

4 card unreliable combo that requires two legendaries without anyway to "fish" for the pieces. Not a good combo.

It's not a combo, it's a burst finisher for a control deck, you aim to drag the game to a point where you'll have this if you're not already winning with value, I know that's not what we're used to at the moment, but it used to be a decent strategy, for example control mage usually ended the game with alexstrasza + pyro or fireball fireball frostbolt. And this could work, since the power level will be a lot lower after rotation.

Also if you look at what priest is getting and what's left after rotation, I'm pretty sure that's one of the best things that priest can have at the moment. Problem is, will priest be played next expansion? I guess we'll have to wait the full set.
