I switched to Eternal a month ago and haven't look back since. I didn't once feel the urge to launch HS again and can't get myself to do the daily quest even with an added booster pack - it's just so boring and predictable
I just came here to try to get more of you to see the light because I want the Eternal community to grow.
Short summary:
- in Eternal decks are more diverse, you can be creative in your deckbuilding, there are so many decisions that you actually feel like the outcome of the game depends on them.
- The game is VERY generous, after a month I have 2 1st tier decks and several fun but still competetive ones (managed to reach Master -legend equivalent- with one of them last month).
- There is a real draft format (MTG-like), an arena-like format, today they added Sealed format for the first time. You feel like the game is growing every week.
- The developers actually talk with players on reddit and make balance changes really fast if they're needed.
- People are nice to each other, both ingame and on forums.
The deck is doing great at level 5, where I am at. Winning with shaman, rogue, warlock, freeze mage. I even won both my games against warrior - first against dragon, which is easier. The second I've won with control warrior even after 4 turns of Justicar enchanced Armoring up (!). I have thrown literally every damage in the deck at him, last turn he was at 17 counting armor, I had 1 card in the library and I knew it to be frostbolt. I went thalnos, frostbolt, ice lance, ice lance, kill thalnos with hero power, draw frostbolt, burn him for exactly 17, no damage left in hand or library :D
I should mention the deck is extremely hard to pilot, but so rewarding. Couldn't have done it without watching the videos (thanks man!). For me the most difficult matchup is shaman - it's very hard to know when to start going face, when to start freezing and so on. If you give him cards with oracle he can deal a lot of damage with weapon and bolts negating a freeze and activating ice block if you're to low on life

I think the deck is unplayable without thalnos, the card drawn is very often the difference between winning and losing
