I seriously can't resist buying packs ;w; I know someone suggested doing so on a different account, but I really don't feel like building everything from zero again and I love opening packs for the sole reason that each pack is a potential addition to my decks, even if it's all shit, I can disenchant the cards and craft something useful.
Any suggestions how to meet that and saving for BRM together?
So, you want to open packs, but don't want to waste gold?
I don't know how well this will work out for you, but you should try it:
Started saving just 1 day ago, already have 330 gold (already had a bit of gold from before it was announced). If only I was better at arena, I would have so much more... :(
Only exception seems to be Blackwing Technician vs. Shade of Naxxramas, because the latter was considered weak before being largely used on druid decks, while the former may see play in more than one deck. Hum...both are 3-drops?
Play what you want, but you will never get truly good at the game netdecking.
Much the opposite. There's a difference between netdecking and brainless netdecking.
Netdecking is a tool to get a template of how a certain deck should be, how to play it, and work from there, making adaptations to suit your own playstyle and/or meta.
But yeah, if you don't try to make stuff like that, it can be considered brainless netdecking. I assume you are referring to that.

Because we never see top players playing decks from other people, right? /sarcasm

Elven Archer? No 3 drops? Surprising.

I don't know how well this will work out for you, but you should try it:

You also have the option of clicking on the "Shop". That allows you to choose what you find on those packs.

Am I the only one having "database error" when clicking that link?
EDIT 1: (nvm, the entire site is like that for me)
EDIT 2: Now it's all working. But in case it isn't for somone else.

I just realized how similar the cards here are to the ones first announced in Naxxramas.
1 weak, heavily specific legendary (Rend Blackhand vs. Baron Rivendare)
1 strong-looking common (Hungry Dragon vs. pre-nerf Undertaker [before we knew what monster UT would turn out to be])
1 strong rare (in the right deck) (Dark Iron Skulker vs. Nerubian Egg)
1 odd, niche card that only gets used in a very specific deck (Grim Patron vs. Dancing Swords)
Only exception seems to be Blackwing Technician vs. Shade of Naxxramas, because the latter was considered weak before being largely used on druid decks, while the former may see play in more than one deck. Hum...both are 3-drops?

Netdecking is natural in card games. Just because you aren't a "Spike" doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't be too.

Well crap, I was right. Guess I'll have to save some gold from now on.

Wait, it doesn't say anywhere about the first wing being free. I guess we are going to be paying 700 for it. Kinda disappointing.

It was probably because they were all just placeholders. The card text in some cards is: "Bold. Card text."

Which is funny because Stranglethorn Tiger was the only 5/5 on classic.

Even at 10 mana that Nefarion would be broken. Considering a 8/8 is 8 mana (Ironbark Protector), getting another 8/8 for just 2 mana sounds insane.
