Sindragosa Boss Guide - Upper Reaches
The third and final boss of the Upper Reaches is the Frost Wyrm, Sindragosa.
Fight Details
Sindragosa does not like you!
- You can only play up to three minions at a time on the field thanks to the 4 irremovable Block of Ice.
- Her hero powers turn your minions into Block of Ice when she hits 20 and 10 health. Keep that board cleared if possible!
- Unchained Magic gets played seemingly every time you have a spell present in your hand; she knows!
Outside of the above cruel actions due to her frosty hatred of you, the fight is fairly simple. She has dragon synergies, the ability to take advantage of your spells, and once you get her below 10 health her hero power, Ice Claw, will start to deal 2 damage to whatever target she wishes.
Just make sure you try and keep your field clear of minions before you take her down to 20 and 10 health so that you can keep your minion slots open as much as possible.
We completed this with a Warrior deck with all basic cards. It may take a couple of attempts, but you can swing into her with your weapons to hit those health checkpoints, drop some taunts, and then follow through on the next turn with more damage from your hero (woo Heroic Strike). Finish the last 10 health off with an Arcanite Reaper and Reckless Rocketeer!
Rewards
Upon completing this boss, and thus the Upper Reaches wing of this adventure, you will be given one Frozen Throne card pack. Enjoy!

My first time making a post on this forum, and I have never made a deck either. Can someone make a proper deck link for me?
So if we used the same Marrowgar OTK deck from earlier in the adventure, would it still work?
Played that basic warrior deck they recommended about 15 times without even breaking him down to 10 health once. Literally the worst deck recommendation I have ever seen.
I just beat her first try with the basic warrior deck + molten blade (that I didn't even use). I don't know what you were doing wrong.
Any face deck can do the job, I won with a midrange hunter and an old war pirate.
Beat it easily with Shields of the Light Paladin deck on first try!
Quest warrior and enough weapons makes easy to proc her with empty board... especially after you have die insect
Won on my first try with Paladin, I actually went for a fatigue match and fatigued her out :)
Those rare opportunities to dominate by using Stoneskin Gargoyle. 44 damage, coming your way!
Quest rogue face roll again.
Beat her first try with taunt warrior without even knowing her mechanics really lol. just kept her above 20 health till quest was finished the she was done.
Super easy win with Priest playing some high-ish health minions, double Divine Spirit and Inner Fire. I got a Priest of the Feast to 24 attack to finish her in one shot.
As usual I first tried a mill deck. Got super fucked by the 3 damage per spell in hand though. Switched to a much less fun midrange Paladin.
It doesn't. I thought the same because happened to me everytime, but the time i won against her i started with Dörty Rat, Inner Fire and Divine Spirit, and she didn't play Unchained Magic until turn 3.
I could beat Sindra with a secret mage. Alexstrasza doesn't trigger her hero power.
If thats true blizzard should fix that. Report it to them! Clever find though
Waited for Etheral Conjuror (4 mana 3/3 that grows when you have a secret up?) To get to 20 attack and 1-shotted her
After i won against Sindragosa, i got the card from that pack :D
