So, the third deck, the budget mage... it works soooo well. This guy has no large minions, you can easily keep alive your freeze minions, just hit face with freeze every turn and you win

Confirmed. Freeze Mage is the way to go. Thanks to thepoxbox for his deck!

A cheap Freeze mage deck makes him and his weapon useless.  Froze him the entire way and never had to use the Destroy Weapon card once while fighting him on Normal.

Annoy-O-Bot + Argent Protector + Hand of Protection for protect yourself from his weapon in the early to midgame.

Dread Corsair ,Sludge Belcher & Tirion Fordring* to firm your defence. *Tirion Fordring is not necessary if you don't let the game go long cut him off for save your dust

Truesilver Champion for free cost of  Dread Corsair.

Acidic Swamp Ooze & Harisson Jones use him when the power of his weapon is higher than your taunt minion's toughness

Muster for Battle + QuarterMaster traditional paladin combo for finish him (good choice for trade with 2 power of his weapon to 3 minions with 3/3) 

I tried my own version of pirate-weapon deck and it worked wounders!

This deck is one of the simplest ways to beat him.

I removed Blingtron and put in a Bloodsail Corsair. Won in first try. Thank you for this. 

The deck posted above works well. I didn't have some cards, so I replaced both BGH with Shades of Naxxramas. They can last a while if you get them early and behind Annoy-o-Trons.

I did try out my pally deck that I posted, It worked easy on heroic, I played and stalled to see what was in his deck and I won he had 1 card to play I did swap out 1 owl for 1 Sunwalker, I was passing or playing hero power each turn to get him to play all his cards. This was his deck that I seen.

He ran out of cards and only had 1 hp when I ended my turn so I did not get to see the last card played.  I must have missed a card as I only have 28, but that should be his deck for the most part.

Save Big Game for his 10/2 taunt, could drop 1 Ironbeak Own for 1 more Sunwalker, Noble Sacrifice when his weapon has some attack and try to clear the board so he drops 1 weapon on it.  Used Hero power ever turn instead of dropping a minion if I would not get anything out of it.  Aldor and Humility any minion you think will help you take less damage.  Hungry Dragon is good he will clear it with weapon and minions.
