Power Word: Glory did wonders against Heroic Rivendare

This spell, on 2horseman, basically won the game for me. All you have to do is control the 2horsemen's attack power so it doesnt go over the spell's 4healing points per hit limit. I waited him out and dropped the horsemen once his fatigue reached -8. Easy.

This deck worked pretty well against Rivendare. If you can get the Mass Dispel down on turn 4 you can go right to face; the Ironbeak Owl and Silence come in handy if you have to do it piecemeal. The Stampeding Kodo and Shadow Word: Pain are ideal for picking the horsemen off individually.

As a priest, Silence and a form of mind control are your best friends. I has also added a youthful Brewmaster to capture to my hand /evil laugh after taken over. Btw to summon it from hand, it will cost 3 mana for either of them.  Shadow Madness is just too good to not use with this card (turn 6 i know). If you have Mass Dispel, Open opportunity to attack the face!  Also, if a horseman is captured, the silence goes away /more evil laugh.

As a warrior, Brawl will work!! Doesn't seem like this was mentioned. I found Whirlwind + Execute to work quite well with Brawl. B/c who ever is the winner, Execute them ftw. (he doesn't have any heal cards)

I made it as a priest with very basic cards (no legendary card):  

I'm sure there is space for a lot of possible improvement but that's all I have. 

After he used the last Runeblade I killed the last horseman. He has nothing more to fight then. It was still a bit of luck but I think I made it in the third try. 

It's such a shame Blizz took the route of banning certain cards in certain matchups. Making us worry about "what works and what doesn't". Even if there's a really broken "cheaty" strategy to beating a certain boss, it should be allowed. Whoever came up with the strategy deserves it, due to their creativity.

does Naturalize work?

and Poison Seeds?

one thing that can be consider is that you silence the minions instead of killing them.  once the minions are silence, you can attack him directly.  

Does Hunters Mark work? What about the cable shadow priest ?

Cabal Shadow Priest has been reported to work, but you'll probably end up losing it next turn or have it silenced =(

Hunter's Mark is confirmed to work!

In Heroic mode Equality cannot be used :|

you can also silence the minions as they are targettable by ability.  once they are all silence, rivendre becomes targettable.
