Here is my variation of Dragon N'Zoth Paladin. It's got a 58% win rate with 124 games played between last season and now (72 W - 52 L). I got to rank 3 last season.
There is no best class. Several are really great and viable atm.
Strong decks:
Warlock Zoo
Renolock
Miracle Rogue
Aggro Shaman
Midrange Bloodlust Shaman
N'zoth Control Paladin
N'zoth Dragon Paladin
Tempo Warrior
Patron Warrior
There are also a lot of decks on the rise that are still finding their spot in the meta like midrange hunter, control priest, tempo mage, control warrior, druid decks, aggro paladin etc.
I've tried tweaking a mid range/control style hunter which is OK but seems to be in a weird place. I think it's an OK deck and it's fun to play but it's not top tier at all probably tier 2/3. It hides in the shadows of tempo Deathrattle rogue and mid range evolve shaman.
I had an opponent who played a 1 mana Brann + 9 mana Yogg Saron for about 30 spells. He was a douchebag and played brann about 10s into his turn then let the timer expire and roped 90% then plays Yogg.
If there were to be any cause other than randomness, perhaps there are just more possible bad outcomes than good ones? For example, opponent aggro deck appearing to have perfect draws every time could be due to the low-curving nature of the decks and the large amount of potential game-ending cards they pack that can seem like rigged topdecks.
I like to believe this and be optimistic and that RNG will come full circle and I'll get my karma equivalent of good rng in turn but sometimes there are days when I have such a bad game I'll quit the game and wont play for a good 24 hours or more. I was playing Zoo against another Zoo deck yesterday. Opponent had 9hp left and I had a full strong board (sea giant, councilman, 1/1 tokens) while he had nothing on his board. He would of been dead next turn. I was on 17 hp as well but had full board control. He had 13 cards left in his deck and 5 card in his hand. He plays doomguard (discards a knife juggler and a wolf), buffs it with power overwhelming x 2, taps and top decks his 2nd soulfire for exact fucking lethal. Seriously the odds of him getting that bullshit combination is 3.8% :-(
It depends on how the meta adjusts but there is solid reasoning behind adding in tech cards to ensure lethal.
I thought about adding an owl to my zoo but held off because I felt it was consistent enough without it and sure enough my win rate is still 64%. However the meta has been more control orientated lately so if I see my win rate start to drop or I'm losing a lot of games where a silence will have saved me I'll add it in.
A lot of these "balance" changes aren't necessary as these cards don't skew the meta enough to be a problem.
Alex – No she’s fine. This could be a buff depending how you use it
C'Thun – No it’s fine.
Dark Arakkoa - No it’s fine.
Divine Favour – Yes, I like and agree with this change
Entomb - Yes, I like and agree with this change
Evolve – I do think this card is too cheap and should cost 2-3 mana and/or have some overload. It is random but is still generally quite beneficial.
Flamewreathed Faceless – This is a tricky one. It is very OP atm but nerfing its attack to 6 puts it out of BGH range which hinders certain classes that don’t have hard removal spells. I think potentially just increasing the overload to 3 could tone it down a bit.
Ice Lance - Yes, I like and agree with this change
Innervate – This doesn’t really solve the issue with Innervate but I like the direction. I don’t think Innervate is too OP but changing this to a 2 mana cost card and it gives you 4 mana crystals would stop druids being able to get out bigger minions for at least the first 2 turns of the game.
Mana Tide Totem - No it’s fine.
Preistess of Elune - No it’s fine.
Rockbiter - No it’s fine.
Sea Giant - No it’s fine.
Tentacle for Arms - Yes, I like and agree with this change
He's being pretty good to me. I'm playing him in the tempo mage deck. 6W - 2L. He's been good to me 4 times, 2 times meh, 1 time bad, 1 time didn't get to play him because I was dead by turn 6 to zoo.
I just had the most epic hearthstone game I've ever had. I was playing Tempo Yogg mage vs N'Zoth Deathrattle Rogue. I really wished I was recording it because it was weekly highlight reel worthy. It was an epic 20 minute long game. Sadly I didn't record it but I do have the hearthstone deck tracker replay.
Highlights included:
Yogg going wild and playing 12 spells
The rogue playing Sir Finley and getting the priest hero power to heal up
The rogue getting coldarra drake from huckster for a lot more healing
Rogue stealing so many good mage cards - 2x Flamewalkers!
Rogue playing late game N'Zoth and having a fully loaded board with tomb pillagers, sylvanas, cairne, hucksters
Top decking cabalist tome, then getting nova to stay alive
Playing spellslinger and getting lucky with a blizzard to stay alive.
Creatively controlling and freezing/clearing the board to stay alive while the rogue went into fatigue
I was surely facing death next turn and only had 17hp left and he had 22 damage on board
Winning by a smart hero power ping onto a summoned blood mage thalnos forcing him to draw an extra card giving him an extra tick of fatigue and then next card he drew was 2 overkill damage for lethal.
News flash, no nerfs for a long long time. Repeat, the nerfs are over, nothing to see, move along folks.
I'm calling its adjusted within 2weeks when the top 250 ppl are all this build.
Negative. It's extremely unlikely they'll nerf cards so soon. They generally wait for the meta to settle and even then the quickest iirc for cards getting nerfed was 5 months.

I'd say it's a equal for Shaman and Paladin. They both have several viable deck archetypes to play.
I've been having a lot of fun playing control rogue decks (C'thun, Malygos) and renolock (C'thun, traditional)

Nay. Needs a poll.

This meta is great. Lots of fun decks to try out and play against.

Hearthstone Deck Tracker has both a C'Thun and a Yogg Spell counter.
It also has a fantastic new stats UI.

Absolutely loving the new expansion.
Feels like mid range shaman could be the new secret paladin. Play strong cards on curve and overwhelm your opponent with value.
