I hope that blizzard add one more card to pick from. If not, drafting a good curve will be more important than ever.
I hope they dont. I'm most excited about this expansion, because I hope there will be less "perfect" decks with 4+ fireballs/truesilvers/holy novas/druid of the claws/flame elementals etc.
Also: I think most of the commons/rares are quite decent. I felt the Naxxramas cards were mostly bad in arena (for example undertaker is nowhere near as good), so they "watered down" the card pool (that was shabby to begin with). If the relative amount of good cards increase, it will be a bit less about who gets more good cards, and more about actual drafting skills. At least we can dream.
I'd hold onto gold for now, and see how much Naxx cards will be needed in the a new meta. If they are only marginal, first get a good GvG set, if still relevant, get Naxx.
Best thing I can recommend: get naxx while playing arena --> that way you can play with every card, while getting both GvG and Naxx cards (to get Naxx cards in arena, you need the wings).
Elven archer is 1 mana and 1 card. or you want to tell me that they are equal to wisp what is 0 mana so everything can summon infinite 1/1 and it will be ok?
Oh right, I forgot whisp: so 3 mana =3*0 +1*1 mana in one card. Man, now I'm conviced.
With the new exploding sheep, there are so many ways to deal with 1/1-s (or 2/2-s), I find it hard to be too effective.
So with your logic this card needs to be 1 mana? Now that's balanced....
Obviously not, but some people here say it's 7 (or 10) mana in one card. No it's not. 3 mana is acceptable, but from what I see, people overglorify it. Not the worst card ever, but I think it's below average, and wont help paladin to get out from his bad position, unless some mad combo card comes with the expansion.

Honestly, I don't see the immense value of the card. Yeah, there are some combos (KJ, SoJ), but other than that, it summons 3 1/1 dudes (without charge, khmm UTH) that can barely do anything without buffs or equality, and a dinky sword, that no one puts in his deck for a reason. I mean, it does one damage. You aint rouge to buff it.
About the: "OMG so much value for 3 mana": Vanilla 1/1-s are worse than an Elven Archer, so let's say 0,5-0,75 mana, and a 1 mana sword. Value...
IMHO Echoing Ooze gives more utility for paladin. Heck, Razorfen hunter for 3 mana gives 2 body and more stats...
I don't think there is a big problem in 1 gold per win.
The main gold gaining utilities are daily quests. Before gold was introduced blizzard planned to give players 2-3 packs per week for medal ranks. Now it's the same 2-3 packs a week but there is more variety (randomness) in gaining those packs.
Initially it was 1 pack after 4 (5?) win.
I'm not saying Blizzard shouldn't make money from this, but they did say that the game is completely enjoyable without paying a penny. I'ts like saying wow is enjoyable for free. Yes I can play for free until I reach level 20, but that doesn't equals with the real thing.
And I don't see the e-sport aspect. Good e-sports require little-to no money (you can buy starcraft for 40 pack worth of money; dota2 is completely free).
However, it's still only 4 days into beta, too soon to worry about it too much.
I'm glad you guys do something like this. This time no matter who wins I won't be frustrated, because I know someone with similar enthusiasm gets the key.
There must be a problem with Europeans wich is still unfixable. It's really unfair we dont get a chance at least to try the game and give some feedback (i am in a pissed off mode got gp'ed in wow and the raid is ooing bad).
Either you allow everyone to test the game and have it ready as soon as possible or you dont release a half working Beta.
Man you do realise that Blizzard HQ is in the USA? Ofc. they start their small beta there, it's better for them in every aspect. I don't think the world will crumble if us, europeans have to wait a few weeks. They'll let everyone in, but setting up a stable server infrastructure is no small feat, and if the servers crash all the time then the negative feedback can hurt the company, so they play it safe (as they should be). And betas are betas, because they are not the final product. It still needs some work, but finished enough to let people test core elements.
There are 300 cards playable. The other 200 are tokens, alternate versions (druid of the claw fo example) and mission cards.
It was stated, that they do plan to release new cards, but obviously the aim now is get out the game and make it as good as possiblle with the current cards. Ofc. if the community only asks for more cards, they'll make more cards.
Unless the gold gain from norlmal matches change, I support the idea of getting a free pass each day, however, it is expected that this system won't be permanent.
Yeah, I think so too, and with the arena fee being 150 gold, it's pretty much a no brainer to me, to always play the Arena instead of purchasing packs, as you get back some of the added 50 gold, and it's so much fun.

Yeah, self destructing Priest will be the new meta.

Regardless what he did on reddit, his work on this site is undenyable.

tl/dr: stop whining like a spoiled kid

Fingers crossed
Since I didn't expect to get in (I'm from Eu), I'm not dissappointed, but watching Noxious's stream makes me really envious.
