The main issue: Why am I receiving like 1231232131241312312 emails a week from this site? It's absurd how many emails I get from here. It honestly is making me wish I never signed up.
2nd: why do I HAVE to link my twitch to this site to be able to post? There was no option to skip it or a "no thankyou" button.
Is there a way to stop the emails? If not is there a way to delete my account?
I love hearthstone and loved this site but it's not worth the headache of having notifications blowing up my desktop emails and phone.
Had a quick look in options, if you go to Notification Settings, there's a checkbox called "Receive All Notifications in an Email". Mine is unchecked, so maybe that's the thing that keeps spamming you. Have a look, hopefully that helps. Otherwise hopefully someone who knows this site better will be able to help you.
Also, incase you want to unsubscribe from certain threads, then you can click the "Tools" in the top right corner of the threads, and then click "Unsubscribe".
After this you shouldn't get notifications from that certain thread.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
For like 6 months I get at least 3 emails a day from them. Pops up on my email, get notification in games, my phone keeps getting full of them.
Are the contents of the emails sent by HearthPwn on any particular day the exact same as the rest? Due to it being in the salt thread, I suspect we've got a limit to how big each email can be so on a very busy day we need to send multiple emails to distribute the massive amount of content to make it sendable.
Also, that isn't anywhere near 1231232131241312312 emails a week. Your post made me think we were flooding you, quite the opposite. If you don't want us emailing you notifications, uncheck "Receive All Notifications in an Email" on the account page linked above. You can also create a filter on Gmail if you want to automatically delete messages that meet specific criteria.
To create the said filter:
In the search field of Gmail, enter "subject:(what's happening at hearthpwn)"
Under the more button, click "create filter"
In that popup, click "create filter with this search"
Check the "Delete it" option.
Click "create filter". Optionally, check the "apply filter to matching conversations" option.

Most of what u asked has already been answered, but the email notifications not properly, so here is a picture that will hopefully help you. I had problems with this for the longest time before i managed to properly set up my settings.
I think the only thing you need to do to not recieve any email notifications is to uncheck every option in the section "Email Delivery Options". But to be sure, you can check "Send email notifications as a daily digest instead of immediatelly.", that sends you one email per day with all notifications instead of one email per notification (tho you shouldnt recieve any in the end, but still). Not sure if "Recieve All Notifications in an Email" has anything to do with it, if you dont actually have set date when to recieve them, but again, just to be sure, left it unchecked. This is how i have it and i no longer recieve any email notifications.
Specifically talking about the recent microadjustments where Hunter got knocked down by a decent chunk; absolutely no mention of what the changes were, impact, stuff like that (I asked if I'd missed stuff about it, and was told that the site had basically ignored it). Maybe it passed under peoples' radars
Looking at it, you're correct, we did indeed not post about it. Sorry!
It was during the holidays and was not caught by myself nor did anyone on staff mention it to me. If Blizzard had posted about it, I'd have likely had a notification roll in for it. I hate that 1-2 week period at the end of the year where everything sorta shuts down, especially if Team 5 is going to ninja stuff in.
If there's ever something you feel we've missed for our front page that should have been there, please send me a private message with any relevant information!
pro decklist posts (which, thankfully, seem to have subsided!)?
As a deck-building focus website and that being where we get the majority of our traffic, it's a category of post that people actually look at which is why we do it. I try to get stuff in there that isn't simply a clone of other stuff, though it isn't always possible. I can understand if you personally don't care about it, I know some have expressed they'd like to see guides with the decks, but I don't think all the front-page content we have is going to be for everyone and that's okay.
slow notification issues
I wish I knew what caused this latest batch of delayed notifications. We've been playing backlog for a few days now at the very least and I agree, it sucks. Our notification system needs an overhaul, it's just going to be finding time to deal with it. The system works a lot better on smaller sites and when you don't have people subscribed to massive threads.
We should probably make a new salt thread... that would likely help things. I think we're due for another 80g quest thread as well. I know anyone subscribed to them creates hell on the system.
as well as the fact that some information just isn't deemed worthy of news posts; stuff like arena changes, for example.
What Arena changes are you talking about? To my knowledge, we've posted about all of them.
Specifically talking about the recent microadjustments where Hunter got knocked down by a decent chunk; absolutely no mention of what the changes were, impact, stuff like that (I asked if I'd missed stuff about it, and was told that the site had basically ignored it). Maybe it passed under peoples' radars, or it did get posted and swamped by the pro decklist posts (which, thankfully, seem to have subsided!)? Still, quite minor, much like the slow notification issues (I've still not had notification that I was quoted here :P), so not meant as a major gripe. You site running people do a lot of good work :)
Check out the Arena section of this forum. We have a dedicated thread there (Arena K&C Meta/Class Tier Report) where we do discuss stuff like the micro-adjustments and how arena meta changes. I dont think that micro-adjustments are a front page news anyway, since its relatively minor thing to happen and most importantly, there is no specific info in terms of actual numbers. You might find this thread interesting as well (Kobolds & Catacombs: Arena Impact), it was our card predictions for KAC, but there is also a continuous discussion about how certain cards perform right now.
The biggest issue with this site is how bloated and slow it is.
100% truth. After using this site, I often feel like I should log into AOL Instant Messenger.
And I don't even try to use this site on mobile anymore. Trying to post from a iOS device is awful. I literally do not know of a single site that I've come across on the entire internet that is worse than THIS SITE when it comes to trying to post on the forums from a mobile device. THE ENTIRE INTERNET. This site. THE WORST. Think about that.
Above is an example of a thread discussing the Twitch Merger subject, there are others you can search aswell.
to help Diamond with this, basically all Curse made websites (Hearthpwn, Muthead, Futhead, etc) are merging with twitch. This was planned for a while and it actually helps the website a ton

Never received e-mails from this site.

Wait, what?? You have notifications for your e-mail turned on? WTF LUL
Turn the emails off if you don't want them? It's a twitch site now - do you complain that twitch makes you login into twitch to use twitch?
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
