I have the same problem when i Alt+Tab on something else.
All you need to do is Alt+Tab While being sure you're on Hearthstone. Not Alt+Tab like crazy to see where is Hearthstone and eventually found it... Works everytime but anyway : that's frustrating.
I was able to fix the problem if you are using multiple displays. In Inkeeper settings, change it to allow you to pick the position of Inkeeper. Move it to your other monitor. Good Enough fix for me.
Just wanted to comment and add to the list of people having this problem.
I have a very recently new machine with windows 10 and the only thing installed on my computer at the moment are Nvidia settings manager, chrome, battle.net client, steam and innkeeper.
I was previously running displayfusion which controls many windows appearance settings (Dual monitor taskbar, dual wallpapers, etc.) I figured that program was causing the issue so after playing around with displayfusion config for quite some time I decided to uninstall all remnants of that program and then try. Still no luck, the taskbar still pops up.
Given the fact that I have a dual monitor setup i can move the tracker to the other monitor, and the problem is solved.
I can also confirm that everything is completely up to date in terms of program updates...windows,nvidia drivers, etc..
Still no update to this very old problem? Have been waiting very patiently for a fix but I'm going to have to uninstall for now. Any chance I can be notified somewhere when this is fixed?
Yeah, nothing has changed from last reply, This is still an issue with windows changing how that works, we currently do not have a fix. I do have an on-going ticket with electron to see if there is a work around

On Windows 7, it also flashes for a second then displaying the Overlay.
I also have this problem.
I can't do anything to make the taskbar go away. It's really frustrating, which is too bad because I really liked the tracker.

sadly we still dont have a solution for those the patch did not fix it for. This is still due to a windows 10 patch, and our hands are still tied atm.

I've tried everything, including what you just said, but nothing helps.
The moment the overlay is enabled, the taskbar automatically pops up. And I can't get rid of it until I shut down the overlay.
Edit: Thanks Molster for the quick reply. It's good to know you guys are trying to fix it.
Molster, maybe you can define for us what exactly is the difference between the two groups?
How come some Win 10 Anniversary Update users have it fixed while the others don't?

I get this issue as well sometimes
I think I have a solution for this. Right click task bar, settings, and then automatically hide task bar in desktop mode. At least it worked for me.

Anyway, great app guys thank you!!!
True, this does work. Just still kind of annoying when you accidentally move your mouse down too far while looking at your cards.
Another alternative that at least makes your hand visible is to right click the taskbar, click properties, then turn on " use small taskbar buttons"

I'm also still having this problem.
I really want to use this program, I really do. But it's really annoying as hell.
Could we get some info about this issue/the fix? I would really appreciate it if this got fixed.
Just wanna say that problem still exist on my side... :(
