As Journey to Un'Goro comes out and The Grand Tournament, Blackrock Mountain, and League of Explorers rotate to Wild along with the Hall of Fame cards, I've found myself looking forward to playing Wild for the first time (at least laddering). My question is which Wild cards are the top priority for crafting? I'll probably run various N'zoth decks as I love control and he's probably my favorite version of it. I'd more than likely use either Priest, Mage or Shaman (Shaman being my favorite).
I started playing consistently after the release of Whispers so I do not have any of the Naxx cards or Goblins V Gnomes.
Avoid Sneed and Echo of Medivh. Craft rag or Sylvanas if u have dust. After that Dr. Boom Loatheb Belcher Lightbomb and Piloted Shredders are pretty strong and staple cards in many decks.
I have been playing Wild since January, reaching Rank 5 those 2 months, using Egg Druid and Renokock. The first think I would suggest is not crafting Dr. Boom at first. Don´t get me wrong, it is a great card, but I dont own one and am not missing. Control talks about the cards included in the Top-Tier decks (before all the Water rage) and none uses Boom: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_n5M6JtHJ7w&t=164s
The cards suggested include 6 coomons, 4 rares, 1 epic (Echoing Ooze for the Egg Druid) and 1 legendary (Loathweb in Renolock).
The advice for choosing a deck is very good. Many decks play like their standard counterpart.
I really enjoy playing Reno/Kazakus Nzoth Priest in wild, and I recently cut Dr Boom from my list for cluttering the board with my NZoth. You definitely want Sludge Belcher and Deathlord. The other cards on your list are nice to have, but there are plenty of substitutions such as the dragon potion for Light Bomb (or run both of them). I also play Mistress of Mixtures over Zombie Chow now. And if you're playing the Reno version, you just need to craft one of the missing cards!
Hey man, i love to play wild and iam glad u wanna play wild too! Reaching rank 3 every season with reno nzoth mage. Personally i think your "crafting list" is pretty good. Maybe Sneed's Old Shredder and Vol'jin is unnecessary. Boom is must have, that card is just so powerfull, for me its auto-include in every wild deck.
Thanks to all for the advice. I think I will end up crafting Sludge Belcher, Deathlord, Piloted Shredder, and Lightbomb first and later get to the others. I'll definitely wait until after Un'Goro drops but these will probably be my first.
Yep, those are the most important ones, so craft them the first. I'm rank 6 now with Reno N'zoth Priest in Wild and recently crafted Sneed's Old Shredder for it, but I'm playing since season 3 or so, so I have all the other important cards that are in Wild now.
I also run Zombie Chow and he's also really important in my deck against aggro decks.
As you plan on mostly playing Control decks, Dr. Boom isn't that great. He's awesome in Midrange, but especially in N'zoth deck, the Boom Bots are just bad.
And Echo of Medivh is not actually used. If you want to play echo mage, you should of course craft it, but otherwise better not craft it except if you have some dust left and really don't know what to craft with it.
Play Reno Priest so that you only have to craft 1 of each card. The Reno N'Zoth archetype is quite strong atm in wild and will probably get stronger after we see new deathrattles.
Piloted Shredder, Zombie Chow, Sludge Belcher, Deathlord and Lightbomb are a must have. Velen's Chosen and Dark Cultist are also very strong cards
Legendary cards you'll want are Sylvanas and Loatheb. Anything else is really up to personal preference but as people have said Dr.Boom underperforms in N'Zoth control so I'd decide what you're doing before you craft him. If it was any other deck, he's your go to 8 drop. Ragnaros could possibly take his place depending on how greedy you want to be.
Wild format is generally slower but a lot of standard face decks have been trickling in so it's best to prepare for them or else you WILL lose to PW with a hand full of cards you can't play
Thanks for the continued feedback. I found an Antique Healbot already in my collection and ended up crafting Piloted Shredder, Sludge Belcher, and Deathlord. I'm using a N'Zoth Renolock at the moment and faring pretty well with it actually. I'll probably switch over to a N'Zoth Priest soon (I just need to save up a bit of dust to craft Lightbomb).
I'll probably end up crafting Loatheb just as a solid card to have but I'll wait until after the new expansion comes out.

Good luck in Wild. I've been "maining" the format since it was introduced, and you seem to have a good handle on the cards you will need. If you plan on playing N'Zoth Priest, I'd suggest waiting to see all the new Deathrattles from Un'Goro - presumably, there will be a few cards which will synergize with the new Quest, and some of them might cost a lot of dust.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. Hopefully Un'Goro pushes a control meta that would favor N'Zoth decks. I look forward to the card reveal today.

The cards that I am looking at are: Dr. Boom, Sludge Belcher, Deathlord, Loatheb, Zombie Chow, Piloted Shredder, Antique Healbot, Sneed's Old Shredder and Vol'jin, as well as a couple of spells such as Echo of Medivh and Lightbomb.
If there are any other cards that I'm missing or any of the above cards are a good idea just let me know! I appreciate any advice.

First thing: craft Sylvanas and Ragnaros in golden so you can play them for free after the rotation.
Second: pick one class and one deck you want to play first. Focus on neutrals and craft cards as you need them.

As stated above: craft cards when you intend to use them. What you wanna craft depend entirely on what decks you intend to play.
A few of the better, cheap and neutral ones missing from your list are Haunted Creeper, Nerubian Egg and Mad Scientist.
Throw in Mad Scientist as well if you plan to play Mage/Hunter as well.
Lightbomb and Sludge Belcher are a MUST have.
Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
