The purpose for Zombie Chow is to keep from losing too much board position in the early game, especially since the Deathlord is highly vulnerable to an enemy Crazed Alchemist.
The Mogu'shan Warden serves a double purpose as potential Divine Spirit target and a followup taunt to the Deathlord. If taunts 3 & 4 turn out to be unnecessary, I would consider replacing it with Oasis Snapjaw or Gnomish Inventor. If the deck turns out to be slower than I expect, then I might switch to the Sludge Belcher instead, but I'd still want to put something in the 4-slot.
As you guessed, the Stormwind Knight is mostly there for the combo burst potential, though he can be dropped earlier if you need just a little more damage (which I suspect is going to be the main flaw of the deck). A Dark Iron Dwarf might be a safer bet - but he's no good for the combo.
I did consider the Temple Enforcer, but I think it would be too slow for the deck. 6 is where I'm currently capping the curve.
Feugen I think is a auto-include. He's strong enough to take down minions who would laugh at the rest of the deck, but he's healthy enough to be another Divine Spirit / Inner Fire threat. I'm a bit more dubious about Stalagg, but he is going to be a real threat if you still have a big taunt between your enemy and him, and there's the chance of getting a free 11/11 without having to use the Spirit/Fire combo.
Fact is that people will - in most cases - find a way to counter that buffing through silence or remove and then suddenly the deck becomes useless.
Most of the cards are healthy enough that you'd only need them to be buff for 1 turn. That said, if all the silence and removal gets used early... what's stopping the Feugen / Stalagg combo?
I think Gurubashi Berserker is a far superior choice in this style of deck to Mogu'shan Warden. I think you're right with the Zombie Chow. I hadn't considered it for the deck, but since the early game here mostly seems to be about efficient trades until you can start dropping combo pieces, I think it fits.
I've always viewed the deck more as a burst kill, which means silence won't be too bad to deal with. If you've got creatures consistently hitting the board with 7 or 8 health, all it takes is double Divine Spirit and an attack switch to basically kill them dead. The real issue with the deck, in my opinion, is the lack of tutors in Hearthstone. It's a major inconvenience for combo decks.

Hmm, good thought. Gurubashi is slower, but it has the potential to take out big cards without having to burn a combo trigger. As I said previously, I think that a 3rd (and possibly 4th) taunt would be necessary (especially if the deck slows) - but Sludge Belcher is arguably a better (if slower) stall card than Mogu'shan anyway.
I think if there's a single class that Feugen and Stalagg fit in, it's a priest's deck. No matter what way you look at it, a 4/7 or 7/4 body is simply nothing to scoff at. People will blow silences on other minions with powerful buffs, then you get a "free" 11/11. Or, they'll leave your buffed minions behind and silence one of Feugen or Stalagg. And, if you really wanted to be cheeky, late game you could combo Stalagg with a SW:D or Big Game Hunter haha. I think I'll be trying it out for fun.

Agree with Alkan53 ,used to play combo priest as well, there's a difference between OTK (one turn kill) and OHK (one hit kill), and the latter is harder to pull off, it requires to enemy board to be clear of " taunts " and ESPECIALLY SECRETS!!!, your deck has no way of dealing with secrets, would switch 1 warden and blade master with silence and boar(or any low cost charge to un secret)
also, you'll have trouble with taunt + Divine shield which can't be helped
zombie chows also combos with auchenai soulpriestess
Sounds awesome. Think about two Zombie Chows when already one Auchenai Soulpriest is on board and you just Circle of Healing. Enrages every opponent and you still have plenty of mana left for more pain.
EDIT: Maybe also two Mind Blasts and it's GG at turn 6.
I just think it's funny that I was up and walking around the kitchen thinking about this board clear combo and then I get back on to see a post on Hearthpwn on the exact same topic.
Yes, Zombie Chow is going to be god tier in priest with its deathrattle coupled with auchenai. Hell, it might be time for priest to become a true major aggro deck.
So i have been to tinkering with a similar deck low attack high hp mobs. Crazed Alchemist is a must in a deck like this, it opens up insane combos for example if you manage to get a minion to stick for a turn i.e. Oasis Snapjaw you can buff his hp in any number of ways then flip his hp with the Crazed Alchemist and BAM
I'm just gonna run inner fire. I'm running acolytes of pain with the pyromancer for that combo for the additional card draw and it really helps mitigate the useless card problem.
With all the high-health (and relatively cheap) minions being introduced in Naxx, does anyone think the combo priest is going to return?
This is my top-of-the-head sketch of what one might look like. I'm curious how other people might tweak it or what they see as its weaknesses.

I could see swapping out the Crazed Alchemist to get something like Shadow Word: Death (you never know what the Deathlord will bring) or Nerub'ar Weblord (cut down on reach that develops the board), or possibly even a Youthful Brewmaster.
also if you didnt know zombie chow with soul priest actually does 5 dmg to your opponent so its really good

Still too gimmicky.
I think we'll be seeing instead of DS/IF priests a lot of anti-aggro board control priests that aren't bad against the rest of the field.

I'm going to be trying something similar to this, but cutting Mogu'shan and Stormwind Knight for Shadow Word: Death and Holy Fire/Smite.

good call - especially with all the secret support that mages are getting.

What about an Unstable Ghoul ? To back off the Zoo decks ? It is also a low mana card for an early drop ?
Unfortunately, Prophet Velen only doubles the power of spells and your hero power. That would be ridiculous though haha.
Edit: Baron Rivendare is the perfect substitute in the combo. Oh jeez that's ridiculous.
